Taste of the Wild is a GREAT dog food. Somebody mentions it above. It's all we feed our Doberman. Plus carrots, radishes, brussel sprouts and anything crunchy. i was walking my working dobe, and a cat swiped her through a driveway gate, totally suprised she ran, nearly taking my arm off. i was embarrassed she ran, so to make the situation better for her, i went to pat the cat, to show that there is no threat, and she wont be scared anymore. then the cat hissed and tried to swipe me, then my dog lunged at the cat growling and showing teeth and ready to kill. cat took off.. and i think i have made the situation worse.

Ruby the Doberman is doing well. she is about 3.5 years old.

Very smart dog. Dobes have lots of energy and will pester you at night when you are trying to relax if you don't excersize them.

Very good watch dog. When the neighbors come home she lets us know and if anyone is at the door.

We purchased a king sized bed so she can sleep with us at night. Great dog!! I'll be sad when the time comes and she is gone. I think I will alway have a doberman in my life.

My dog & cat used to play like crazy when I'd say "get her!" to either one of them. They always slept together too.Sometimes when the cat would wake up first though, she'd remember the "play" from the day before & go after the dog while she was still sleeping. Scare the bjaysus out of her! It was great.

Don't breed them. there are too many homless pet cats and dogs out there as it is. I went to the rescue many times and they have plenty of calm friendly dogs that make great pets and they neuder them for you cheap and professionally. I took my doberman to the human soceity here in michigan and she recovered well with no problems.

i agree there are to many but my plans were to get a litter of four and train them as guard dogs at my farm. and i know if they are family and grow up together as a pack they would have a tighter bond. and too much shit goes missing on my farm. but if i ever needed just one as a pet i would go to the shelters. and up were i live (though not pure) you can find people just giving them away

hello, that black cat is our cat. ruby wouldn't hurt the cat, she just wants to play. Potty trainint is pretty ruff the first 2 weeks. you must keep the dog in the same room as you and use gates to do so. you must watch the dog every second. so they must be in sight at all times.
