i have one of these. Im using an i mac with 10.6.6 i installed the driver from think geek. it runs great but i cant figure out the rotation. where do i find the usb window?
Hi there, thanks for your excellent review. I am thinking of getting either this or the mimo 710S...could you give any opinion as to which you think is better? I am a software developer and am wanting to use the extra space for a terminal window.
Might as well call this the "Lillliput UM-70 & MAC" review...How about contrast ratio, picture quality, color accuracy, and, most importanly, doesn't i havet a touch-screen ?
I can't believe that is not even mentioned or tested ! HELLO !
Actually it was mentioned that it wasn't the touch screen model during the unboxing if you watched that. Also the ratio for it is common knowledge, picture quality was what you would be expected from an 800 by 480 resolution, again color accuracy for a 800 by 480 was to be expected. I also stated during the review it worked for Windows right out of the box. Please pay attention to the review before saying it didnt' mention certain things. Thanks for the response!

Not recommended for those that want to place this monitor above or below a screen ( For windows anyway )

220° turns the picture 90°? That makes tons of sense
CaptChrisT 7 months ago
@CaptChrisT it's 270 degrees... rotation goes counter clockwise. 90 would be to one side 270, the other. obviously 180 to flip it

does the screen support 3d graphics? I am trying with it and any 3d rendering (3d game for example) just hangs with no frame updates????

Does it require that both USB connections are plugged in, or will it run off of just one?

I have it connected to one only on my MacPro and it works great.

Do you know if this would function as a primary monitor?
I ask because I shoved a computer in a briefcase and it would be perfect if it did.

that looks a lot like the mimo moniters....
