Here is a man who is the head of the roman catholic church. The man who represents roman catholics the world over. But he visits here and the vast majority of the crowd start to sing 'Youll never walk alone' a well known celtic anthem. How inclusive non-celtic supporting catholics in the crowd must have felt. if you done your homework before posting that you would find out that YNWA was not actually classed as a celtic anthem until 1989. but the pope visited in 1982.

before 1989 it was sung at football ground all around the world. including teams such as aberdeen and hibs. it wasn't until 1989 when celtic played liverpool as a tribute to the hillsborough disaster that supporter started classing it as a Celtic anthem.

My mum was pregnant with me when Our Holy Father visited Scotland. Her and the rest of my family were there when he visited Belahouston park in Glasgow and as a result they named me John Paul. This video made me cry. Pray for Pope John Paul's beatification.
