my personal truck is a tundra, and the truck i drive for work is a 2004 chevy, if i tried using my truck instead of that chevy it would've died a long time ago... runnin 201,234 miles truck only is different than runnin 205,863 miles towing a 20ft, 6,000 pound trailer, and loaded down with 1,000 pounds of material in the bed.
Having owned over 11 trucks, I can say the analogy that chevy to toyota is like mazda to acura. Any truck should last, but at 100k, a toyota is broken in. At 100k, a chevy is broken up.

Tundras are so over priced, for the same or less cash you could buy a ford f250, chevy silverado, or a nissan titan, any one of those trucks would be much better than a tundra, so why buy a tundra, tundras don't even have a full boxed frame, they cannot tow as much as a chevy or a ford, and their quality is no where near a nissan titan.

He was the one who sold me my dakota in 2004 and hes a family friend. he was the one who worked with the Toyota America in Indianapolis and built it. and no the durango cant smoke the tundra. the truck is way too heavy so it loses about 50 horses to the road.

You do realize that mopar helped create the 5.7 lt iForce right? Its nothing but a hemi with a 6 speed. and of course your cummins will beat it. Its a Super/Turbo charged (depending on the trim) diesel engine with high end out put. I actually have both a dodge and toyota they are really the same under the hood but the transmission. that is why both the new Dodge RamRunner and the New Toyota Tundra Rock Climber both supercharged with well over 500 horses are being released together
I have a 2007 tundra sr5 with the 5.7 and ive raced it against the mustang cobra and whipped its ass. i get 0-60 in just under 6 sec. and a Vortecmax is not stock by all means. The word "Max" means the truck has been modified by the factory. the only mods the tundra has is the limited slip unless you have the TRD package. ethrty, have you bought the supercharger for it yet?

Nothing its all about the driver of the truck and ford is shit. there was nothing wrong with the cobra. brand new with temp tags and the guy driving was showing off. i found out mopar helped out by one of the engineers from dodge. He was the one who sold me my dakota in 2004 and hes a family friend. he was the one who worked with the Toyota America in Indianapolis and built it. and no the durango cant smoke the tundra. the truck is way too heavy so it loses about 50 horses to the road.

You do realize that mopar helped create the 5.7 lt iForce right? Its nothing but a hemi with a 6 speed. and of course your cummins will beat it. Its a Super/Turbo charged (depending on the trim) diesel engine with high end out put. I actually have both a dodge and toyota they are really the same under the hood but the transmission. that is why both the new Dodge RamRunner and the New Toyota Tundra Rock Climber both supercharged with well over 500 horses are being released together

I have a 2007 tundra sr5 with the 5.7 and ive raced it against the mustang cobra and whipped its ass. i get 0-60 in just under 6 sec. and a Vortecmax is not stock by all means. The word "Max" means the truck has been modified by the factory. the only mods the tundra has is the limited slip unless you have the TRD package. ethrty, have you bought the supercharger for it yet?

Get real. no way, no how, its not even within the realm of possibility. The highest rated engine that year was a 235 flywheel horsepower 440 CI engine coupled with a freaking 3 speed shitbox (dodge transmission). the lightest of these trucks, the lil red express, weighed over SIX THOUSAND pounds.
Your looking at (on the vid) a mid 5000 pound truck with 380+ flywheel horsepower. get real.
