@ChoLoiat Try re-downloading MMD. If that doesn't work, try getting the newest version (if that's the one you haven't been using, it's the direct9x version.). If it still doesn't work, make sure you have all of the plug ins needed for the program. Also, try restarting your computer if you haven't already. I hope this helped. ^-^

@TeaParty1998 Are you trying to click move or rotate? If the bone has a circle thingy, it's like a joint, such as the shoulder. The circle bones are only able to be moved with the rotate button. When you click it a little green circle with a blue line and a red line should pop up on the screen. I hope this helped. :)

I'm a long time MMD user, but something is really bothering me, when I try to render a longer video to an AVI file, after about 1000 frames, the entire thing goes black, but the WAV still plays. Wtf? Can anyone please explain?

@564KnockOnDeathsDoor That all depends on your latop. I would recommend using smaller models with less bones and physics on a laptop, as it can get very laggy. I've got MMD on my laptop, and depending on the model, it's too laggy to use.

@LivingDraws Did you extract the who folder that MMD came in, or just the MMD exe file? You have to extract the who folder it comes in, or you wont see the models when you click load. Make sure you have downloaded the newest version of MMD, and not the first link on the vpvpwiki site. The first download on there was the first version made, and it can only use Miku.

@Angelwolf1234567 & @LivingDraws there's a red box below the screen, press load and pick a character of your choice, if you want a different character, download it from the internet (google is your friend). then place it in the models directory in the userfile folder.

and if your computer is shitty, it will probably freeze or lag.

@MovieChannels Select the frame that you applied the animation to in the Frame Manipulation panel, then select the bone that you wish to remove the animation from, then click "Reset" in the Bone Manipulation panel. Or, to delete all bone animations from the current frame, you can simply delete the frame.

@macekilla1 I know it's free, but MMD isn't nearly as powerful as blender (though MMD is a good intro to character animation). And about your cpu, 3D animation programs are very CPU/RAM intensive, and if it hit's 90 outside of rendering, that just means your CPU sucks :p, It doesnt hit 90 on my LAPTOP outside of rendering. And blender never broke exes to me, there are registry fixes for exes all over the internet ;P

@macekilla1 An open source 3D program wouldn't do anything like that. If it did then it would have been pulled a long time ago. Did you get it from somewhere other than the official site? Besides, most likely you already had a virus on your PC brefore you even downloaded it. Blender had no need for your sound card anyways,so in no way could it be Blender's fault

@thescheibers6923 In the zip file you downloaded, extract everything to a folder. It won't open unless all the folders that came with it are in the same location as the exe file. then just double-click on the exe file and you're done.

It will automatically take you to the model folder that came with the program.(I'm explaining the parts in parentheses in case the version you got is the version you can't understand)

Like most of the people watching this video, I'm a MMD n00b. I'm having a problem with downloading motion data, accessories, things like that, and then applying them. My computer says it's downloaded, but it doesn't download it to my MikuMikuDance program. (I have the English version of MikuMikuDance 7.39, but I also had this problem with 5.24) I'll open Accessories or something and it will say "No items match your search." Am I doing something wrong with the download or is my computer stupid?

@ILoveSnsdBigBang Where it says "Model Manipulation" click the load button then all the downloaded models will be there, there should already be models after you downloaded the program but you can download more online, don't worry, most people have trouble finding it, I was one of them, I kept opening the scroll down bar like "Where's all the models?!" and I even unnecessarily downloaded the same models that came with the program thinking I didn't have any models, good luck with the program!
