  • Only a scumbag like Domi would lose a fight to his "idol," then try to cheap shot him after the linesman breaks it up.

  • tie domi is lucky that was browns 90s and not brown mid 1980s brown was the best

  • domi would have kicked browns ass, but brown slipped out of his jersey, unfair, can't rate this match.

  • @hockeystruth LOL thats why brown beat him clearly in 4 bouts... gtfo probert nuthugger

  • @khav11, 1st of all where did you go to school? Dave Brown's school of bag licking! Learn to spell. @nd there were only 3 bouts with Brown and Domi not 4. 2 in 1991 and 1 in 1992. It's safe to say Brown beat Domi in all 3 , 2 were close fights near draws and the one where Brown's Jersey came off he bettered Domi, but Domi would have beat him in that fight if Brown's jersey didn't come off. It was an unfair fight. Now STFU Brown baglicker.

  • @hockeystruth .......wow.....honestly im out of words. you are fucking dumb and i would deeply like to beat the shit out of you how old are you? brown fucked little domi like a ragdoll. and they fought 4 times the other one is not on youtube. unlike you my main source is not youtube LMAO

  • @khav11 so when brown comes out of his jersey to get an unfair advantage and comeback in a fight he wasn't winning it's OK. But when anyone else does it (or when they beat brown fairly) those guys are all cheaters. Flop flop flip flop flip flop. You're hypocrisy is histerical kid

  • @buttkick22 browns jersey trick changed in the 90s because a lot of players were doing it probert always did it like a whore lets not talk about rob ray . who had struggle with tie domi... and lost a lot of rounds in 13 bouts. at least brashear brown barely if not never lost one to him hahahaha you suck

  • @khav11 excuses excuses......and ray won the majority of the fights against domi. Brown was also notorious for jumping guys. Neither ray, domi, or probert were known for that.

  • @khav11 brown, the notorious jumper that he was, had 3 chances to beat ray. He was never able to do it. 1 loss and 2 draws. I'm not saying ray was tougher than brown so don't put words in my mouth or read something that was never written like u usually do. You have no reading comprehension whatsoever

  • @buttkick22 oh boy some random kid with "no reading comprehension" hahaha fucking made my day like i give a shit its funny indeed. something you probably never understand is brown was in his 30s (early but still) put him in his prime in the fucking 80s where he never lost clearly he lost to miller and hunter and thats about it narrowly. behn wilson was the best also in the early 80s its funny thats 2 flyers its simple the flyers are the toughest team in history

  • @buttkick22 brown is top3 ray is top 15-20.. sums up the the debate next!

  • @khav11 proving once again that u don't know how to read hahahahaha. Whose debating? WTF are u talking about> God ur so stupid. Just go away u never make any sense lol. How embarrassing.

  • @buttkick22 why are you so stupid? and thats pretty childish to reply with always the how embarrasing and god ur so stupid when youre my internet bitch hahaha go away hahahah what a fag... you said brown never beat ray(as like saying ray was a better fighter than brown dont hide it....) fucking dumbfuck you dont even remember what you typed...typical american hockey fan i guess...lol easy!

  • @khav11 You don't know how to read hahahaaha! So sad. Maybe u can get one of those learning games for kids for christmas this year. It'll help make reading fun for you. Good luck..

  • @buttkick22 i just saw a comment you made about beck you were backing brown and now youre saying brown was overrated a notorious jumper yes you did say that you flip flop a lot american boy

  • @khav11 god ur an idiot lol. WTF does that have to do with anything? How is that flip flopping? Did i say anything that contradicted anything else i said? Nope. God kid u really don't know how to fuckind read do u? It's pathetic...why don't u read the context of the conversation u retard. Yes, Brown was a notorious jumper. Yes Brown was tougher than beck ever was and that fight wasn't much of a fight. How the fuck is that flip flopping? You're so desperate to prove a point ur making shit up LOL!

  • @buttkick22 another comment coming from you i wont read its a shame lol.....

  • @buttkick22 is that you getting mad over brown again? boohoo

  • cancerape are you so fuckin stupid you can't reconize sarcasim, go look up what sarcasim means you fuckin idiot.

  • 86-87 he has naother phewnomenal record but again, who on that list was considered a top tier fighter? Beating carkner was impressive. he did fight miller twice in 1 game but he lost the first one for sure. I guess u could count Nilan ( I don't at all) when they fought twice in 1 game but he lost 1 of those fights too. Other than that, it's another year filled with guys that weren't top tier guys. I'm no hating on the guy. I'm just using facts here.

  • what an embaresment dumi is, no wonder y his wife left him

  • @lukeafire at least Domi can probably spell, which is more than can be said for your dumb ass.....go call Domi an embarrassment to his face and see if you are still standing by the time you have counted to 3 (assuming you can count that high)

  • @Cancerape cancerape. by judging you have a nice nigger picture you probably enjoy more black dicks up ur ass than titties. and i reckon thats a good statement! cheers! btw you dont know shit domi got owned here again!

  • @khav11 Quiet Nigga, don't tell the internets about the dicks up my arse, my inbox is already full....0/10 for troll effort there, must try harder :)

  • most sided fight i ever saw and tie domi was tough tough held well against brashear probert but not brown .....not brown

  • everyone makin excuses for domi rob ray was outsized and completely held his own against brown, and domi won the first fight against probert so lets not suck his dick too bad. domi was a good fighter that got the living shit beat out of him in this one. plus in 2 fights domi couldnt even take out matt barnaby...NUFF SAID

  • @myPAINisSELFchosen85 rob ray fought when brown was 32 and it was a close decision brown had a tough tough chin

  • @myPAINisSELFchosen85 put dave brown in 80s rob ray would have played his last game lmfao

  • tie hide from luke richardson

  • Domi for the lunch, DECISIVE WIN D.Brown.

  • where can i see the whole of this documentary? is it called 'what it takes'? anyone know where i can get hold of a full copy?

    thanks in advance

  • Domi reminded me of TIGER WILLIAMS ...not the best fighters-BUT they had your back!!! These sobs were not afraid of ANYBODY!!

  • Domi was way out of his league in this fight

  • Schultz was great? Sure. Watch him vs Robinson or against Gilles. He gets hammered big time, and then watch his teammates jump in. Schultz mostly beat up on guys he knew he could handle. A bully in every sense of the word.

  • schultz was great as well but outside of when i started watching hockey. my choices are pretty much from 85 and onwards.

  • my top five fighters of all time are:

    1. dave brown

    2. brashear

    3. domi

    4. probert

    5. kocur

you don't want to get tagged by any of those guys.

honourable mentions to rob ray, jim mckenzie, and chris simon

  • @oceans19711 lmao.

Brashear was shit and got his ass beat each time he fought Kocur.

    Best all times are

    Probert

    Kocur

    Brown

    Domi

    Gillies

  • Radio...Domi and Gilliesin your top 5? Terrible.

  • @SIoyvenheaven1 actually it is not terrible at all.

  • Comment removed

  • @SIoyvenheaven1 Twist was a joke. A steroid using joke.

  • The what the hell do you call Domi? If Twist was a joke, Domi was the court jester.

  • @SIoyvenheaven1 Domi was 5'9 fighting guys much bigger then him which is not a joke. You are the joke along with Twist.

  • Compare Twist's and Domi's win-loss record, then come back and talk to me. Twist would own Domi.

  • @SIoyvenheaven1 Twist is a pussy who needed Steroids.

  • Terrible argument. Go away.

  • @SIoyvenheaven1 Not at all. It is a very good one hence your weak comeback. Get the fuck out of here.

  • You must be either Domi's wife or mom. Or maybe your Tie Domi herself? Now piss off, piss ant. You clearly don't know shit about hockey fights. Stick with hop scotch or mancala.

  • @SIoyvenheaven1 another original comment on youtube from another retard.

  • You shouldn't talk about yourself like that.

  • just shut up you have the intelligence of a wet sock. It is pitiful.

  • A wet sock has an IQ? Quit while you're behind.

  • @SIoyvenheaven1 ...i think he was saying you have the IQ of a sock (which is zero)

  • Dumbest thing I've heard.

  • dumbest thing i have heard from this conversation so far is "you shouldn't talk about yourself like that"

  • Why don't you go down a cyanide pill with some bleach?

  • why would anyone do that...

  • Just try it. It will benefit society if you do it.

  • damn your funny. you should be a comedian someday. not today but sometime soon...

  • You haven't killed yourself yet?

  • @RadioFriendlyNoise yeah twist lost so many fights before his magical 50 pounds ..... he was a bad fighter but then he got to 260 outweightin everyone

  • @RadioFriendlyNoise LOL put domi at 6"2 250 pounds he will kill twist anytime whoever disagrees that twist is a better fighter thabn domi p4p is a moron 4 lyfe

  • @SIoyvenheaven1

    damn, are you a moron.....lol

    "kristina"

  • @SIoyvenheaven1 yeah good choices but i think dave brown is 1 . he lost so few of them

  • Comment removed

  • @khav11 this doesn't tell the whole story. behn wilson 79-84, jim kyte 85-86, brown or mcsorley 87, probert 87-88, brown 89-90, probert 91-93, mccarthy 94-95, simon 96, grimson 97-98, brashear 99, laraque or brashear 2000s. some say twist was champ in the mid 90s but not sure if that is right.

  • @lakeerie90s overall brown is the number one enforcer i would have had brown killed both simon and kyte

  • @lakeerie90s i think you forgot ed semenko in early 80s late 70s wilson was great yeah

  • @khav11 semenko was kinda overrated. Real big and could take a punch but he had a lot of narrow wins/boring draws. Liked to hug a lot and just use his mass to overpower people. Larry Playfair was tougher. They fought twice and 1 was an uneventful draw and another 1 Larry nailed Semenko harder than he's ever been hit in his life (as he said in his book). There's a vid on here somewhere where Don Cherry is worried about a kid Larry is fighting. Says Larry's been the toughest guy 4yrs running

  • @buttkick22 well yes but to say he was not a good fighter or not dominant is stupid but i dont think semenko is top10 brown as the first one as shown in the video punishing everyone

  • @khav11 never said he wasn't a good fighter. Just that he wasn't the best in the early 80's. He lost a bunch of fights to tim hunter. The two dominant big names in that time frame were moreso playfair and wilson

  • @buttkick22 damn ur one stupid bitch stfu tim hunter? LOL haters gonna hate brown top1 heavyweight in this league history wether you want it ot not go no rank him 10-20 if you want no ones gives a fuck browns in everyone top3...says a lot probert ? roided/coke......come again pls and yes brown lost fight NO one clearly beat brown little tkos and brown go right back up.....KTHX

  • @khav11 there u go putting words in my mouth again. Never said anything abot ranking him 10-20. That's just retarded. Calm down superfan lol. You said he was champ in the 80's. Since brown started in 82 who did he fight in that 2 or 3yr span that would make him champ at that time? Besides his first fight against kluzak, and his win against kyte (lost the rematch tho) nobody. 85-86 he had a great record but other than miller and kyte none of those guys were top fighters. Continued on next post..

  • @buttkick22 brown won many fights against kytes same with milller grimson nilan domi beat simon draw one the list goes on

  • @khav11 he beat kyte twice. He lost pretty bad once. And they 1 draw. He did beat miller more often than miller beat him. That was 1 of the few real good fighters brown fought a lot (a lot smaller tho). He and mcsorley had 2 draw (their first fight was garbage). He never beat simon. First fight was a great draw, 2nd fight simon clocked him before falling. 3 draws and 1 loss to grimson. 3w 2L 1D against nilan. 1W 1TKO loss to kimble. 1L 2Draws against rob ray. 1 narrow win 1 TKO loss probert

  • @buttkick22 beat kyte 3 and lost one and yes he beat simon 1 win round i think. simon was hurt brown to tell you the truth never felt hurt in any of his fights ANY yes he sometimes got tko but he get back on skates like nothing best chin fighter best puncher best fighter in the nhl another argument why i think browns number 1 cus every fucking fighters said so odjick probert domi claimed him as the most lethal fighter... last thing brown beat domi like a circus monkey 4-5 times while probert

  • @buttkick22 and probert had issues on domi probert steroids and coke no match for brown whatsoever!

  • @lakeerie90s don't forget about playfair

  • Comment removed

  • @oceans19711 no dave shultz ?

  • Brown was a best!

  • i will admit, cote loses his fair share of fights in the show, and as since been put on waivers. he was a great fighter in junior and AHL. but he has alot of heart and isnt afraid to do his job. despite fighting the best guys in the world and losing his fair share.

  • tie domi was my favorite player as a kid. i respect any guy who made their way to the NHL as an enforcer, im not a critical superfan behind a keyboard.

  • @ProbertFan21 He was also a pretty damned good 3rd liner

  • I would hate getting beated by Dave Brown.

  • lol he beated him

  • DECISIVE WIN D.Brown.

    He beated Domi soundly!

  • If you think back of the last 5 years; I don't think there are any 'legendary fighters'. Maybe Laraque? Maybe Brashear?

Certainly probert and domi are in a class of their own....

Well maybe Boogard just because he is so huge...

That being said I can't really compare because I am too young to have watched during the eighties and early 90's....

  • @zciweiksim Well IMHO I am thinking in

their day Probert and Brown were the best

More so then Laraque and Brashear. Probert was better the longer the fight went on. Brashear just has a hugfest.

  • Kocur could break a wall with his punch...I have a friend who was a NHL tough guy and he said the hardest he was ever hit was by Tony Twist, for what it's worth.

  • Tie really liked Brown. Domi's problem was his height, not his strength. He was as strong or stronger then most of these guys, especially his legs, give him some extra reach and it would be a much different story.

  • Hey man...All the Brown haters out there...You heard it from the guy with the hardest head ever, Brown hit the hardest -end of story.

  • Wait ......there's Brownie haters? Im sorry to hear that. he brought much joy to us flyer fans

  • No way! Kocur, Twist, Gillies, Fotiu, all hit harder than Brown.

  • Not according to to the guys Brown fought. Fotiu and Gillies were back a bit, but Twist and Kocur weren't. If Domi says it, I'll take his word for it. Brown hit harder than Kocur and Twist.

  • I don't remember Domi ever fighting Fotiu, Gillies, Kocur, maybe Twist. Dave Schultz even said he would not mess with Fotiu for fear of a KO. Gillies, Kocur, and Twist all had KO power. Barry Beck beat Brown; you can see it on Youtube if you do a proper search. However, yes Dave Brown was big and tough.

  • Well, I guess Paul Holmgren didn't have the same fear as Schultz. I've seen Holmgren beat Fotiu, and it didn't look like Fotiu was much of a problem for him. Either way, none of these guys were better than Bob Probert. He's as good as it gets.

  • LOL... Paul Homo Holmgren got his ass kicked by Fotiu; look uo their first fight! In the secon fight Homo tied Fotiu up and used his helmet to head but Fotiu. Also, Beck Put the fear of God In the Homo when Beck played for Colorado. Homo never got close to Beck after that LOL... Fotiu and Beck ruled in their day!

  • Comment removed

  • First fight definitely went to Fotiu, second goes to Holmgren who threw more punches and headbutts if you wanna look at that way. The Beck fights are not on here, and I don't have them either. Brown didn't lose the Beck fight, the one on here. No one really got to throw from standing and Beck kept throwing while Brown was down. I would call it a draw at best. Either way, Fotiu kicked ass as a Flyer too, though he was older. So we can both appreciate him as a being a great fighter.

  • Agreed. Beck destroyed Holmgren. Fotiu beat Big Behn Wilson who was no slouch.

  • Schultz was scared shitless of Fotiu.

  • Kocur hit harder; ask big Donald Brashear!

  • No evidence that Brashear and Brown ever fought. Much the same with Domi and Kocur. We will have to agree to disagree on this one. I would like to add that Brashear may change his mind after what Belak did to him this year. HAHA, even though Belak lost all the other fights.

  • I never said Brashear and Brown fought. No argument here! My comment was in regard to what Brashear reportedly said in an interview. He was quoted as saying Kocur hit him so hard he could feel his helmet crack. I can't verify it but why whould Brashear or the reporter make it up? Could be B.S.

  • Gotcha man. I'm not saying it wasn't. I'm just saying Domi and Brashear haven't both fought Kocur and Brashear. Its hard to really say who hits harder when you got this guy who hasn't fought that guy and so forth. The debate will go on forever. I just know I respect Brown and Kocur a lot, and they hit harder then 90% of the NHL most likely. Two bad men that you would want on your side in a bar fight. At least we aren't debating whether Riley Cote or Andrew Peter's is better. They both suck.

  • I agree with you there! I would take Kocur, Brown, Probert, and Fotiu on my side anyday in a bar fight LOL...

  • I would like to give Cote and Peters props for not fearing anyone. They just never win unfortunately.

  • peters wins quite a bit and has a big right hand he winds up. cote has an open, all out, old school style alot of people like. fans can hate on him all they want but if all you look at is a guys win loss percentage, youll never understand why hes in the NHL

  • @ProbertFan21 I understand why they are there, they just aren't the greatest fighters. Dave Brown, Bob Probert, Joey Kocur, and Behn Wilson are great fighters. It's why people will remember those names forever. People won't remember Cote and Peters. Colton Orr has an open old school fighting style that produces wins. A great number of them against Cote. Cote holds a lot more now too since he lost the majority of his fights last year. He's a bit of a punching bag now. Peters isn't any better.

  • cote is one of the most exciting fighters in the NHL. like i just said, if all youre analyzing if how much a guy wins youll never understand why hes in the league. peters isnt a punching bag at all. whatever, youre just a hockey fight analyst. kinda hard to get anything thru to you people

  • @ProbertFan21 I've had season tickets to the Flyers for 3 years and Cote was only exciting two years ago. He just held on and took a lot of punches for the most part last year. The excitement is gone, and he gets no playing time cause he's horrible at playing hockey. He's pretty much useless now.

  • wow youre a fucking joke. cote is fucking gnarly buddy. hes better now then he was 2 years ago. if a guy loses more then a few fights the keyboard critics label him as a punching bag. were you a hockey fighter? youre a joke pal. cote is unreal.

  • @ProbertFan21 Were you a hockey fighter? Nope, I don't think so. Cote is a waste of a rosetr spot. Its simple really. What is he good for? Losing to Colton Orr for the 20th time. The last top tier enforcer in or franchise was Donald Brashear, and we should have kept him. When you compare him to the enforcers who came through Philly, he just doesn't make the cut. I sure wish I could fight in the NHL. I would do Cote's job in a heart beat. Skate two shifts take a punch, then collect pay.

  • actually i was in junior and ive talked to guys who have fought cote that are older and played in the AHL and they said the kid can take a punch better then anyone. hes one of the gnarliest little bastards out on the ice and brings alot of emotion to the team. i dont give a fuck if you spend all your money on trying to match guys like brown and brashear. cote is awesome. fuck keyboard critics.

  • @ProbertFan21 He can't bring a lot of emotion to the team. He's never dressed in the lineup. I'm not saying he isn't tough, I gave him props for having no fear. Brashear and Brown could play more than a shift or two. Those guys had a lot more skill as players than Cote, and that's not saying much in his favor. Your boy Probert could play the game and fight. That's my ultimate enforcer right there.

  • cote is a better player then most enforcers these days. he does bring elot of emotion to the team. i know a guy who plays for them. i wont name drop but he lives close to me. the guys in the dressing room love him and he is absolutely fearless. may he doesnt win as much as fans would like him to. but you cant discredit the guy at all. he has alot of heart. which is something alot of guys lack these days

  • Kocur beat Brashear in a fight. Kocur and Domi never fought.

  • Agreed!

  • everybody said the hardest they were ever hit was by Brown, Domi, Miller, kyte, etc!!

  • I like Domi. Without him, a lot of Leaf's games would have been boring as watching paint dry

  • i hate tie domi, Go BROWN

  • Awesome!
