  • Juste magnifique

  • how old are you? you look pretty young! can you tell us more about the horse?

  • I only realised at the last moment when he was grazing you were riding him in a bitless bridle!! amazing :-)

  • And that is how it's supposed to look. I think you are a new idol of mine now ;)

That horse is beautiful and what you do is wonderful!

  • @Ommeltrote Vielen Danke ;-)

  • I'm crying.. This is the most amazing thing I have ever in my life seen.. I wish there would be more riders like u i this world. Love u and ur fantastic horse! Best of luck from me.. Denmark! :)

  • This video gives me goose bumps!

  • Great! I have a coussoul mare too!

  • I wish I would be able to ride like that..

  • Superbe travail Alizee!

  • Wahnsinn! Kompliment! C'est trés bien!

  • Great video, and such a relaxed horse. Keep up the good work!

  • beautiful! great job by your friend designing the bridle as well!

  • I think "greatmistleighfarm" used the best words to discribe the magic, which is given to us of you and your horse! :)

I think you have to accept ratings for this video, the results would be stunning - I'm sure! :)

  • did you train this horse from the beginning with a bitless bridle,

  • @08moneypenny No, I explained it in a comment before. I'm working with both ways

  • Oh my gosh. that was a gorgeous ride. I will carry those images as inspiration. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful video of you and your horse.

  • WoW!

  • Einfach wunderschön. Ein Genuß!

  • stunning.

  • Majestical! beautiful! love it!

  • magnifique!

  • Love it!

  • I've not seen anything more beautiful than this horse and its rider. Fantastic! No words to describe the beauty. Thanks for posting.

  • Beautiful performance. Love the loose legs! I'm a huge fan of bareback dressage (a shame US . Bits make little difference when the horse is "on the bit." Sadly, I have no video of our little mare who can do everything but the 1 tempi changes w/ just a halter and leadrope. But I do have a video of a handsome Hanoverian doing an I-1 test. But due to our injuries on the mend, he is not as engaged as this horse, though.

  • @Walnut28Comms ...didn't finish my comment that many of the USDF regional groups have banned any rider being on a horse at any shows w/out a saddle or bridle. I would LOVE to see a "Bareback FEI" class introduced at all shows. It is a TRUE test of a horse's relaxation, obedience, and all the qualities of the pyramid of training. At my last show, I tried to collect my ribbon by riding bareback w/ leadrope, and was immediately told to get off or I'd be kicked off the grounds.

  • Absolutely fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow - what champions - both!! What planes do you have - European or World-championships?? Greetings from Jana (Germany)

  • Bravissima!

  • This is simply beautiful :)

I wish everybody would get that you can ride horses without spurs and stuff and ride amazing dressage nonetheless. I hate to see these shows where riders tourture their poor horses just to win prizes, it's disgusting. This video shows that all of this is possible without preassure - it's a real masterpiece, keep it up! =)

  • youre such an amazing rider . wow i am speechless ! <3

  • wonderful.... you can see from his gait and his body that he is so relaxed! thanks for posting...

  • This bitless bridle has been made specially for me by a friend of mine who I asked to imagine a headcollar the simplest that can be and as comfortable as possible.

    It's an unique piece.

  • I thought it was lovely and am green with envy. what kind of bitless bridle are you using?

  • Wow!!!!!

  • Wonderful

  • Yes! Exactlty what greatmistleighfarm said. Its a beautiful balanced example of a wonderfully willing horse trained to GP. Thanks for sharing, and continued success. Life has twists and turns and to be blessed with these moments with our horses is the best gift on earth.

  • just wonderful! ♥

    Great Job!

  • Just WOW!

  • Wow I'm really impressed!

That's what i want to see.

  • Beautiful!

Thank you: Best dressage seen for a long time!

  • I do similar stuff with my horses! So lovely!

  • Lovely..Merci!

  • Beautiful. You are just discovering the softness and willingness of a horse without a bit. I quit using bits about 8 years ago. Performance has increased dramatically. Check out the bitless bridle on the market. Horses aren't controlled by bits, but by training. I've had horses run off with me with even a "severe" bit in their mouths, running thru the pain. It won't matter if you have a bit or not, if they want to run off, they'll do it. It's not the bit for control, its training.

  • I agree. Best dressage I've seen. I'm beginning my dressage lessons bareback and I never want to get into the saddle! So excellent for the balance and opening the hips, to say nothing of the confidence it ingenders in me! Too bad one can't compete bareback. Thanks for the video. Marvelous to see the teamwork and being bitless too. Congratulations, you and both marvelous!

  • Wow!!

  • we can all save a fortune on tack now - if we had the riders ability!! beautiful

  • Great - really wonderful - it shows how "easy" riding a horse can be - and has to be!

Congratulations to your felling for movement and character of a horse.

I try to work each day in this way with my horses - it is a long way - but when it works it is like a dream! Keep on doing!!!

  • Superb!! So correct, so calm, so light. The top Grand Prix riders would do well to watch this video to see what a correctly trained, softly ridden dressage horse looks like. I applaud you. I saw your pic on the Andrew Mclean website and I think you are leading the way in ethical training. Pushing the boundaries. Bravo!!

You are both beautiful. The connection is perfect. Really, it's a pleasure to watch...

  • Omg... <3

  • Very nice

  • Very beautiful, i would kindly ask you who is your teacher? What an inspirational ride. Sun, Wind and Rain from the Caribbean! Stina

  • WOW!!!!

    Weiter so!!!

  • Wow! Love it, love it, love it! Beautiful riding, amazing connection with your horse. A true pleasure to watch, thank you for sharing :0)

  • WOW! :O

  • OMG! I just saw your video on facebook and I'm already your subber!

  • wow, beautiful!! :-))

  • I'm young so I need to search and to do my best ...

I really and definitely don't want to controversy, I didn't do this video for that. That was just to have a memory of those fantastic moments where I feel free and really "in peace". This work is just a personal research.

I like those moments with Mistral more than any others.

  • @MistralAlizee I think it is very beautiful! Hope you don't mind that I took the liberty to share your video with my friends on Facebook!

  • @mariacatharinaholm No problem. Have a nice day.

  • @mariacatharinaholm

  • @MistralAlizee Amazing unity with your horse!

  • @MistralAlizee beautiful!

  • Dear all, thank you for all your kind sentences.

I'm sorry if I forget to answer someone ...

The music is coming from the game "Heavy Rain". You can find it on iTunes.

I work all my horses with a simple bridle most of the time, in competition with the double bridle of course, and once a week bitless. I can't say to you if it's possible to have the same results only bitless ... I'm working with both directions ... What I'm looking for is to search to work in the most "just" way.

    I don't want to

  • beautiful! that's what dressage should be, thank you for this video! what bitles bridle do you use?

  • Very nice!!!

  • Very nice! :-)

  • Dreamy ! The headstall is the most simple bitless I've ever seen. Who makes it?

  • Magnificent! Please tell me what the name of the bitless bridle is and where available. Thank you- is the best I have seen yet.

    Ina

  • bravo, Bravo, BRAVO! C'est Bon. This is IT. Thank you so much for this video.

  • absolute magic

  • WOW!!

  • I just love it! This is what I call a strong connection between horse and rider. Magnifique!

  • I just love it! This is what I call a strong connection between horse and rider. Magnifique!

  • An amazing goal to aspire to with great training.

  • Hi there. Really love this video. Can you tell me, have you noticed any positive changes when you ride this horse without a bit?

  • Outstanding... Where is the music from ?

  • WOW beautiful!

  • Wonderful. Inspiring.

  • Lovely, just lovely.

  • The best dressage I have seen for a long time! It's not whether it is bitless or with a bit. You can ride well with a bit too. The great thing about this video is that it is so correct! A beautifully trained horse and a marvellous rider. There is no need to turn this into an illustration for a campaign against bits or saddles.

  • @greatmistleighfarm Thank you for your comment !

  • @greatmistleighfarm Absolutelly my words! Beautiful! This should be the way, how to show horses in GPs and other dressage competitions. Without bits, saddles, spurs, horses in great movements but relaxed and "free" in movement, showing how they are REALLY schooled. It´s very easy to bind/tie a horse with use of physical power (and "helping" reins etc.) and then force him with spurs, whips etc. to make some "great" and "amazing" movement. But then it´s not dressage, just circus. This IS dressage.

  • The best dressage I have seen for a long time!

  • Amazing! Would you mind sharing what music you used?

  • and you are just 24 years old, two years older than me... Oh my! How good you are!

  • I want you to thank for this video a lot! It's so wonderful, that's one big reason why I love riding and horses. This really inspires me, I'm just learning riding since one year, but without a bit and I love you for riding also without a bit, although you do it with too. At Grand Prix is it allowed to go bitless? This really shows that there is no raeson to say that THIS doesn't work without a bit! Merci beaucoup, you and your horse are awesome!

  • Breathtaking! idd

  • YES YES YES WONDERFUL

    THANK YOU

Bring on change - bitless - no stirrups - no swishing tail

    AND grass

Happy tears roll down my face

  • Congrats! This is sooo beautifull. It almost made me cry. The horse is supple and so strong, this is true art. Amazing, keep up the good work!

  • Magnifique!

  • c'est manifique!

  • simply beautiful, thank you

  • you have one the most outstanding seats I've EVER seen! I so wish I could one day sit like that! my horse would thing he died and whent to heaven poor thing, LOL!

Do you have any idea if one can get a horse to perform similarly going bitless from the start? I've never know anyone with your skill that tried so quite clueless! I'd love to try myself but I don't even have the seat to help, least to say the training ability...

  • Absolutely fabulous! Wonderful to watch.

  • Wow. I am working on achieving a seat like yours, but its going to take a while!

  • This is truly the most beautiful work I have seen in many a year. Just stunning, thank you so much for proving that lightness and freedom can still exist in Grand Prix dressage.

  • He has been trained with a bit and after bitleless ... That's just since few months. He is my grand prix horse. So I'm doing both.

  • @MistralAlizee Gorgeous work. And the fact that you "feel" this joy when you work with him should make you VERY proud! That is how it SHOULD be!! Thanks for sharing this!

  • Hello ! Absolutely wonderful!! I would be very curious to know, was this horse trained bitless through out or went from bit to bitless? Thanks!

  • We are trying to find out if the rider has competed in dressage.....? The demonstration is most impressive. I have been riding bitless for over 20 years.

  • @dragonharte8 20 years that's impressive. I can't imagine after only 5 years of ever shoving a piece of metal in a mouth.

  • Breathtaking!

  • Magnifique !!!!

  • Magnificent!
