  • Very informative video, TruckerTwoTimes. Just started listening to the podcast. Enjoying it a lot. This was the first video I saw. Wanted to see your new truck. And some of the nice scenery. I'm a medical courier. I'm on the road most of my day, but wanted to get an idea of what life on the road was really like! Thanks!

  • I know you're currently retired, but I'm still enjoying the podcast and the videos. :)

  • Yea twotime the glen canyon dam bridge and that little itty bitty town you where rolling south bound on 89A in my HOME town thanks for shareing!

  • For those of you that HATE THIS INTRO SONG: skip ahead to 1:52 or keep it on mute until then

  • nice vid

  • nice vid. have you ever driven a scania or a MAN?

  • @dghsfgys lol

  • Neat! thanks for the reply! Did you like them? what was so great/bad about them?

  • @fishtankfreak great part was running where I wanted to run, worst part was 62 mph on cruise control 64 on foot

  • Comment removed

  • @fishtankfreak yes Peterbilt, Freightliner, International and Mack

  • @fishtankfreak yes 78 Peterbilt, 74, 82 Freightliner, 80 International and 79 Mack

  • What is with companies and that terrible 9 speed. 10 speeds are my preference. From what I've heard 9 speeds have a fuel mileage advantage, too many dead spots though.

  • This is a cool video because I live where it's filmed (Northern AZ, Page) Anyway, been also lookin' at gettin' in to truckin' and have looked at Knight a couple of times. No experience driving besides when I was about 10 years younger with an Ace Permit, but I think I was pretty good.

    Good videos....keep 'em comin'.

  • Man, I don't miss Knight, but I surely miss that desert at night. Great job on the videos! :)

    Fido

  • if you dont mind running two books, knight is a great company. i was there for a while till they started screwing with my HOS and forcing me to violate my restart.

  • Nice Video Nice Truck Greetings from Truck-Drivers Germany

  • You the MAN truckertwotimes. Enjoy your videos. I been on the road 41 years now. Am 64 and hate to think of the day I'm unable to run with the big dogs anymore. Owner-operator. Coast to coast.

  • Hey tucker great Vd and Music*****

    Alberto.

  • I worked for them, really nice people I always got reimburesed for any expenses

out of my pocket. Also had a good dispatcher running out AZ.I had to take a leave for fam health emergency, otherwise I'd still be there.

  • nice video man congratulations im truck diver

  • I AM THE Great and World Famous TruckerTwotimes, maybe one day I can work you in for an autograph, Thanks for watchin me video

  • if you don't complain and bitch Knight Refrigerated is a great company. My step dad has been with knight refrigerated for 4 years and hes enjoyed every bit of it.

  • you will not like working for knight after about 6 months. you will not get tolls and other money back for about 2 months. I was never late on picks and drops but got canned after a year and 2 mon driving. they blind sided me. for a month I still had other dispatchers calling to drive out loads for them and they had no idea. So watch your back.

  • he drives for mds outta tennesee now

  • Great. Best of luck. AND STAY SAFE

  • I worked for Knight refrigerated 8 months. They never paid dock time, or even reimbursed me for tolls and scales. They still owe me $2000. It was pretty embarrassing doing 64mph in Arizona, too... I'd sooner drive for Werner again than those ass clowns.

  • Prime is pretty good, slow trucks, but what company (aside from mom and pops, and driving for an OO) doesn't have slow trucks?

Ive heard drivers bitch about Prime but I never had a problem with getting reimbursed or paid. Pretty good miles too (pretty consistently got 3000+ a week); only drawback is that you'll be in the northeast A LOT. Though it is a 48 state company, the only time I went west of the Mississippi was when they were getting me to the house.

  • They fired me for reason. And they put bogus info on my DAC. It will be 160.00 to get it fixed untill then I am off the road. Thanks to Knight Refrig and DAC. I was out of the Hutchins Tx yard . I was 1 of the first 10 to start in the refer side.

  • Hey there ttt! Great vids you have here. Would love to drive at knigts! Only problem is...i live in holland(europe) frigerated drive too. With european volvo cabover 440hp and speed limitted on 87km/our. Ain,t that a bitch... Safe and lots of mileage jeff!

  • luv da video

  • how did ya attach your gps to the dash TTT?

  • velcro

  • good guy good song

  • hey two times you were in Page Az not marble canyon...nice vid though!

  • How u like Knight Reefer? I've heard it's good but good luck finding an empty trailer

  • Even if you do find a trailer, the reefer might be bad. I missed a sweet Nogalez to Jersey load due to my NEW trailer having a fried PC board. That was the only trailer I found after 4 hours of looking in the Phoenix heat. Steer clear of Knight (dry or reefer) unless you like low miles, short hauls, and no pay. The payroll manager got his job because he couldn't handle running the shop. Go figure...

  • 2Times ;-) great vid, what advice you got for people looking into trucking?

  • LOL!! Don't...

  • think the pete was way better

  • Since you truck alot i think your company should give you a 132 inch sleeper like your video Home On Weels.

  • im gunna keep my eyes open for yuh when im out there on the road.

  • You obviously go west alot. Take care and yes God does deserve special thanks, especailly Jesus Christ.

  • Guess Indian River couldn't handle you going west all the time ;)

But seriously.. You are in your favorite part of the country or at least as long as you stay outside Phoenix ;)

  • great vid TTT.. u always have it going on

  • cool vid! Love the song!

  • are volvos good right back

  • Those new Volvos are sweet. Served 15 years in the Army and now Im bout to go to CDL school and start new career truck driving. Love your videos brother.

  • what no fridge? but hell of nice lookin truck there

  • Was that the HOOVER DAM?

  • how do you like working for knight?

  • how about trucking on the ice like they do in iceroadtruckers up in Yellowknife Canada?

  • send me a round trip plane ticket

  • Very nice truck!!!!!What kind of G.P.S. are you using?

  • Garmin C 550

  • Good video, awesome scenery out there, 5/5

  • Great video and beautiful truck!

    Keep on trucking Jeff.

  • This is my favorite video of yours.Keep them coming. \m/

  • Why did MDS fire you goofy monkey ass man..

  • you moved out to the west from tenn.?

  • weird i just drive to morristown today was gunna dare you to jump in the pool at the conrner of morris and 343 kinda pointless now.

  • *

Nice video, What Was that a Volvo

    >-->

  • Good luck on the new job!

  • so ya gave up the peterbilt huh? that was a pretty nice truck...volvo is cool too though :D good to see a new video Jeff

    drive safe buddy

  • Sup TTT, I'm turning 21 in December of 08. However, I don't want to wait till then and I was wondering if you had any advice for me. Traveling is something I have always wanted to do and trucking is a means to an end for me. my question is what should I do to obtain my California, CDL? FYI your vids and trucks are

    fantastic!!!

  • Thanks for the comment, I'd go to the DMV and tell them what your plans are, I'm not sure how the Country of California works, good luck

  • Contact Phil Molloy(instructor) at Dootson school of trucking in Arcadia,Ca. He taught me how to drive and I got my CDL in a few months and I now have my own Peterbilt 379 and Fontaine flatbed.

  • TruckerTwotimes IS Trucking Rooster APPROVED!

  • Very Nice Truck! BTW How long have ya been with Knight?

  • just started in October 08

  • nice lookin truck thier twotimes. If I were you i'd make that lower bunk into a table and use the top bunk to sleep on.

  • interesting idea, the top bunk is a little more narrow and not quite as comfy, the wife told me she is gonna order me a thermopedic(may of mispelled that) mattress

  • for Christmas, that would work good in the upstairs bed but I don't know how I would properly utilize the bottom bunk area for storage since I have to raise it up to get to the basement storage, seems like it would be a big clutter with all the space it has unless I put a chest of drawers built right side up on it and straped it in, I would be interested in seeing a video if anyone has done something like this, thanks for watchin and commenting

  • Nice job man. I am on the dry side of Knight since the end of July and I am absolutely loving it. I am out of Tulsa termninal. I hope they are treating you as good as I get treated. Be safe out there!! Big Al

  • Wow... Great looking rig there. I would love to drive that :)

Brand new truck and trailer. The interior looks increadable. Have fun and enjoy the ride!

  • Hey TTT, This here is Localtrucker all the way from Australia. Love ur vids man! Keep em coming and good luck in all you do. One question tho, haven't heard you mention about the lovely woman? Is all well in that department! And hows the kids? Hope not too personal dude, just worried. love ya work man keep it smiling and be safe out there god speed bro.

    Localtrucker

  • Hello LocalTrucker, thanks for commenting in, I take it you listen to me Podcast, I mentioned on it that she is saying she wants to relocate to Phoenix area and continue her work as an LPN in the Nursing Home field there, she tells me she has applied for her license for Arizona so, we'll see, of course all that will be on my Podcast as well take care I appreciate ya watchin and listening Jeff

  • Thanks SO much for this vid - nice country, beautiful truck. It's as close to being on the road as I can get!!! BTW, kudos also on cueing up such great tunes!

  • Thank Ya

  • GREAT VIDEO TTT. VERY BEATYFUL TRUCK

  • Thank Ya

  • truckertwotimes.I got into SWIFT.I have my driver code and now waiting for an available Mentor.I passed everything physical, medical, road test, etc.I still don't care what ppl say about SWIFT.They are very professional.I now have to go away for about 6 weekf on OTR training.Thank You for all you do.

  • Congratulations, I know from talking with TruckerSteve those guys work hard, just leave the c.b. off not only for that but because there is too much dis on there in general, stay safe I'll see ya out here, In Gods Country

  • I agree with ya TTT...that sleeper is a bit small. Not to much of a Volvo guy myself but they are getting to be nicer trucks. Love the view in GOD'S country!! 5 stars

  • WOw, great videos, have been very big fan eversince saw first video here. To me living in finland and being big truckfan these videos are very entertaining to watch. Keep your wheels rollin' :)

  • Hey another great video good luck on your new job

  • MEN TTT that is a hell of a nice truck men.. congratulations on the new job.. hope to see more videos on the truck and like always you always show GREAT! scenes while on the road.. sorry that I ask TTT but what do you prefer to drive? a lot of people liek their peterbilt but I never know why.. maybe you can tell me why is thats ok :-) thanks for the view and hope to see more videos soon :-P

  • Hey Combo thanks for the comment, I prefer to drive a Volvo but in the model 670 the sleeper is too small, peterbilt with the long hood is traditional "Truck" it simply looks great, the cab is too small for my preference but the 70 inch bunks are nice, I like lots of room in the office and bedroom, hard to get all in one, helpfully I will upgrade to the pete 387 which has both large areas

  • Red Steagall thank ya

  • I love that song trucker! ha ha. Great looking ride you got there! I think that pink ipod really compliments the color of your eyes!

  • it does don't it :)

  • Ok you are in gods country and with a new trucking company too. So all should be well now. Right? Good Luck

  • All is Capital...

  • Damn I never been there!

  • thanks for the video and the update TwoTimes

hope youre having a good time at your new job

    Stay Safe Brother

  • Good luck west dude.

  • awsome truck.

  • How do they feel about drivers with little experience and who live in Florida? Thats the double whammy I have with finding a driving job. Love the videos by the way.

  • call my Man Derek at 888-668-0829 Monday tell him TruckerTwotimes told ta give him a ring, just ask the question, Derek is a cool dude, easy as me to talk to :)

  • Congrats on the move. I was thinkning of Knight, but again I gotta wait for immigration. Nice ride so far, but do they have 387? I thought they ran the 379/389?

  • I applied at Knight but no sign of them hiring me.I can't be a party pooper here though.Congratulations with Knight, truckertwotimes. :)

  • Great Video TruckerTwoTimes. I heard that Knight was a good company to work for. Hows the hometime with them so far?

  • Hey Man, just had an idea, call my Man Derek at 888-668-0829 Monday tell him you watch ole TruckerTwotimes Video and it looks good, ask him what the time off is and reply back here, that'd be cool, Derek is a great person straight up and honest a real human kind person, you don't find that a whole lot in a bigger company

  • TTT, I called Knight today and spoke with Dan. He told me that they require 4 months otr exp. I dont qualify, i didnt even think to ask if they hire driving school grads. Also he said that as long as you drive 10,000 miles a month, they will get you home as often as you like, but you must complete that amount of miles. I also told him that you recommended Knight to me and he laughed. He said "Wild and Crazy Jeff is a great guy." Thanks for the number. Stay safe and keep pushin' on!

  • Hey BT Cool, get ya 4 mos and come on over and run with the BIG DOGS :) added comment for me podcast

  • TTT this is steve in alabama, great vid as always.Hope u have a great weekend when u get around to it.Take care and thanks for all u do.

  • Anyway; I always enjoy your videos and you sharing the scenery. Makes me feel like I'm on a virtual sight-seeing tour when I watch your productions. Always enjoy your efforts and positive attitude and you're quite entertaining.

This is Ole' "Shadow Dancer" (Retired) and I miss the road and enjoyed the surroundings always like you did. Especially out west as you do, and, always liked pretty much everything more west of the Rockies.

Be cool, be safe, and God Bless ya' buddy!

    Jimbo - Michigan

  • Hiya Jeff a.k.a. TTT! So, what did ya' do? Switch companies to relocate?

I lived in Mesa, AZ. for 2 years and drove for Stinky Simon out of Salty City and drove where you are now and went up to Vegas or I'd go from the Salt to Phoenix and Tucson often going to Shaky with a load of cotton to L.B. Harbor to ship out.

Anyway; nice country and what not. I ran CA., NV., AZ., and UT. when I was with Simon.

By the way, why do you want the Pete 387 over the Volvo? Just curious. Like Petes better?

  • Hello Jimbo, thanks for the commentary, I would prefer the 387 because of the bigger bunk looks to be 74 inch or at least 70 the Volvo 670 only has 61 inches

  • The United States is divided into two sections to most trucking companies, in order to not have to go to the dirty side you gotta live in Gods Country, I've worn myself out with the boat haul trying to even get a 50/50 deal with no luck, got tired of messing around and made the jump

  • my home town twotimes, I grew up in Page, Az. started my truckin career there, thanks for the vid bro.

  • Cool, thanks for watchin and commenting

  • I would if I was still single...Gotta worry 'bout the wifey and the 5 month old now...A truly "local" job is in the works. Keep the vids coming so I can see what I used to view first-hand so long ago!!! You are the man Jeff!

  • sorry i meant Volvo vnl670 or Volvo vnl780

  • its a volvo vnl670

  • Nice truck there two times and Trailer do you like the Volvo vnl780 or Volvo vnl780

  • I would prefer the 780 over this 670 for the bigger bedroom, Derek at the Columbus Terminal where I hired in at said he'd take care of that for me :)with a PeterCar 387 BIG BEDROOM

  • Well good luck two times you CRAZY TRUCK DRIVER LOL

  • Nice Video TwoTimes. I got one question. Are you owner/operator or company driver with Knight Refrigerated? I didnt see any truck number or company name on the truck. But Take Care and stay safe driver.

  • Company Driver, I just brought this truck down from Salt Lake City UT where they delivered them to from VA so we can run up the road a little ways to Layton and get the new trailers, had to take it to Phoenix for the sitickers

  • I mean Stickers

  • Oh ok. Just thought i would ask. Take care out there and good luck with this company.

    Your Friend, Larry

  • Once again a great ride. Good Luck with Knight..I've heard a lot of good things about them.

  • Congrats on getting the job with Knight Refrigerated. Stay safe on the road and keep it shiny side up.
