Actually it is exspensive to live green, because you need to purchase tools and such.

One point- when your mother started her garden there was only organic gardening- no comparison to artificial fertilizers. She did not know how to use the fertilizers and other additives. I think the organic garden is best on a small scale -I wanted to point to the lack of experience that your mother had which gave her the impression that organic was better.
