you should have put in the coloring in either with the glue or the glue with the starch already because the coloring stains your hands and takes a while to take off.

Before you even ask what liquid startch is read this !! liquid starch is something that you use for ironing clothes its usually in laundry isles . Most liquid starch are in spray cans instead of the one he is using. so just go to a store with a laundry isle in it . go inside the laundry isle then look for liquid starch . it dosent matter is it is heavy just saying .

Well... try my way with the box can a ziploc bag or anything to keep the putty from drying out. 1/4 spoon of water and 1/4 spoon of glue. Mix it up well! Now pour in another 1/4 spoon of water and 1/4 spoon of borax. Now, add food coloring if you want. Mix the subtances up well! It might take a while. Wait before you do anything, rememeber all these substance goes in the zibploc bag. Sorry for the mistake, don't mix it up but rather squeeze the bag. Squeezing the bag is kinda like mixing. GL!

I have a lot of experience with this kind of silly putty. First off if it is too sticky add more liquid starch if too stiff add glue. This being said though it will never quite be like silly putty unless you bake it. It bakes around 350 F and needs to be taken out and played with frequently or it will react wrong making it too stiff.
