  • Guerilla artwork at it's finest :) Great job!

  • AWESOME! that is all

  • what music?

  • Sad they cleaned the tunnel. Imagine if our world was covered in art, that wouldn't be that bad. And yet Government continues to fight it.

  • Thats really amazing. He used towels to draw that, making the grafitti finally got the government to clean up the tunnel

  • Stupid fucking cops. It's all about control of public space. They can't have art there unless someone paid to do it.

  • Wat is he using???!!

    ;]

  • I think he very much accomplished his goal -- the impact of the image, curious onlookers are gonna slow down to see "what the hell is that guy doing?", especially when they see cop cars stopping periodically. While the cops and officials are fussing round deciding what to do, people are seeing it. And once they reach a decision, you get a newly cleaned tunnel that otherwise would have just stayed dirty. Wonderful work, even if we can only see it in recording now.

  • Wonderful! I would give him the "Arts" Nobel Prize if such thing would exist!!

  • Fuck the Police

  • fuck cops !

  • It's like if they are trying to get rid of art

  • I think it's a great thing what the artist did 'cause he show's the idiocy of the government. Since years that tunnel wasn't cleaned up and know he draws a 'reverse graffiti' and already the same day everything is cleaned up by the government hahaha

  • Triste é ver que eles só limpam o local depois que isso pode vir a interferir na candidatura deles...

  • the song is Ossario by Instituto

    Full support!

  • Muito Bom carinha

  • l art est éphémère souvant

  • sort of a one trick pony, don't you think?

  • @fishburt seriously? Are you stupid, or a troll?

  • @fishburt how so this is just a macro form of a common art technique

  • I have the strangest craving for skull soup now.

  • How DARE you turn that dirty wall into art! Now we gotta clean it off.

  • Lawl, 2:47, I can't be the only one who saw that wrong.

  • Every once and a while, I would stop and think why some street artists weren't as great as others. Every one is good in their own way, but there are "greats" as one would put it, among all of us. We stand few among the masses, but even among the few, even less raise themselves to that level. And not because of how much money was spent on a PR campaign, or BS like that, but because they put every ounce of their heart, soul, blood, sweat, and prolly tears too, into those works they made. Stay up!

  • Thanks to the imagination of people like Ossario the world is a better place in my eyes.

  • Everything i can say is.. Respect dude :p

  • what kind of 115+ dumbsh!ts wouldn't "like" this video??

  • Grande !

  • this is squad car 591 we have two kids cleaning the bridge. we're gonna need back up.

  • @mynameispaddymac

i actually got the police called on me for drawing on a van by cleaning it with my finger as a kid.

  • Thank hell these is recorded! The world would be at a darker place without this video.

  • How pathetic. NOW they're cleaning that tunnel.

  • I understand what people are talking about, it's not like if he is doing any damage. but also see that the skulls 'intimidate' people, i know it's stupid but people are stupid.

  • exelente trabajo lastimas q los putos policias no aprecian el verdadero arte

  • this is why we can't have nice things

  • funny how the city doesn't give a fuck until someone wants to express themselves. Oh yeah but then they'll clean the tunnel...bullshit

  • cool that it got clean and all but who know where that shit went now

  • I wish I knew what this song was! Be so awesome to paint t this!!

  • I want to do this to Vancouver

  • They didn't ruin it! He acheived his goal of saving the world from pollution because the washed all the soot away! =)

  • Aww they washed away all of his hard work 8(

  • what is that song called?

  • now, to create an art piece to make us clean up world hunger... very inspiring...thank you for this.

  • fuck the police man

  • bravo, great concept

  • i know its gay that the pigs get this done, but least he kept it video'd hopefully pictured as well

  • FUCK THE POLICE

  • this guy shows how stupid the establishment and people in charge are

thats why they dont like him. For the cleaners to do there job you have to draw a subversive statement in dirt. He says Dirt is Free but it seems like nothing is free even dirt.

  • Very powerful. Sad that their are so much emissions that are on the walls and then just washed down the drain. How do you dispose of your material when your done doing art in a tunnel like this?? Good message and glad to see you wearing a mask.

  • Howz he doin that lol amazing

  • go to OG ABEL SONG for giveawy

  • do caralho!

  • this is frigging awesome! ttly supportive of this cause (:

  • thats real and crazy art talent

  • Really cool brazilian street art.

  • A HERO!

  • Meu Deus!

  • hah! now you have a nice clean wall to bomb. well done!

  • song name??????

  • @anthonyrobertbrown myspace. com/instituto

  • It took all that hard work & such a great work of art, before the city came along to wash & clean that filthy azz wall; they should of done that shit along time ago. Wow! this is irony at its best.

  • nicee they thing that is better now!!

  • nicee

  • that was nice...but dicks that they cleaned it up

  • this video comes from Sao Paulo, Brazil. this wall is an tunnel, very dirt. This places are not only dirty. Also happens a lot of flood.

Brazil is a no man's land. The art was not hurting anyone. Instead of the police and the goverment help the people, they try to maintain the control of people.

  • yeah i have seen the whole doc of this guy he s awsome

he makes realy nice canvas whit the dust from the walls he was cleaning

    Respect

  • If it wasnt washed off, it wouldve just been recovered with soot. So no love lost.

  • that was just dirty wall?!?! i thought he was paintin it er sumthin!

  • O.O why ?

  • that is fuking amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! gives light to the whole world as trash issue..... and that cleaner dude at the end looked like he realy didnt want to do his job that day and its easy to see as to why.. im never using spray cans ever again !!!!!!!!!

  • The man was probably just doing his job when he washed away the imagery. Or it could have been cause of unpaid visual real estate. At least he got walls cleaned. But damn...

  • amazing

and these bastards just "clean" the whole wall after that -.-

  • This is a form of suppressing the creative mind. The city was never going to clean this strech of road so...why are they so upset about someone being creative and entertaining? He was using no paint no markers and nothing that would damage the surface of anything. All he was using was a mask to cover his face and a few rags. This has the same impact of a kid drawing 'clean me' on a dirty car whose owners has neglected to clean his or her car or truck properly.

  • @joe3292

the idea is that he wanted it to be cleaned, he brought it to their attention.

  • @robin22391

The funny thing about it is if he didn't decide to create the art, they would never have cleaned it. It's not his job to clean it but public officials don't want to be made to look bad so they clean it and hide the offending artwork. (offending to the public workers and officials only that are responsible for cleaning it to begin with.) It's time they get off their butts and do some real work and do it with pride. Or Ossario will strike again!

  • @joe3292 I mean Alexandre Orion will strike again!

  • The irony in this makes me mad but at the same time makes me laugh. They think it looked nicer just covered in black soot? lol... good for them

  • the bubbles in the water at the end look like skulls

  • now they fuckin clean it! of cource god forbid

  • Why does it take a certain type of human being to remind others they are too? What happened to looking out for the good of what's around us.

  • Song name PLZ

  • o engraçado é q os caras só vão limpar na hora q o cara faz a arte,

  • They didn't do anything about it until he made it into art...shame

  • wow.. the fact that they cleaned it off says a lot.

    This is really brilliant.

  • MadameButterfly [1035358] is a big fat tranny

  • how was he "cleaning" it with, with paint thinner?

  • @ignitethosebeats its not paint, its dust and smoke. he was using a cloth and water i guess

  • Did they just get fined? seriously?

  • parabéns prefeitura. agora o ambiente voltou a ficar maravilhoso como antes, imbecis

  • HE IS GENIUS

  • nice .-.

  • Parabéns Alexandre Orion! Intesidade e criatividade inigualáveis.

  • What's the song name?

  • revoltante isso,so no brasil mesmo tem esses lixos de governantes e de leis que temos nem a arte e respeitada e muito menos todos nos que so pagamos impostos para almentar a conta bacaria deles

  • Is this legally considered graffiti?

  • @ross817 If i'm correct, he is cleaning it to cause the skulls.

If that is so, no it's not, because it's not vandalism.

  • but a pragmatic person would just wash the wall themselves in a 1/4 of the time it took to do this

  • Comment removed

  • Exelente, muito boa idéia, ótimo vídeo...

  • Don't you guys see? By doing this, he attracted attention to how filthy and toxic it was--and, as a result, got what he wanted: the place cleaned. :)

    Awesome vid, thanks for sharing!

  • @AngelicDragonPuppy I don't think the idea was just to get the attention for the place to get cleaned... There's something much deeper behind the idea. ;)

  • @talktofunk indeed, but i think the last ten seconds wraps the whole thing up into an environmental satement

  • @AngelicDragonPuppy yeh but the thing hes trying to get @ i think is...whether its really clean now, becoz the drain shot shows the muck just ending up being transported underground, which in a way is even worse! the idea behind the skull motif is obviously getting @ this idea aswell lending to the extreme toxicity of the situation aswell as the advent of toxic carbon poisoning of the human race as a whole! so many statements being made here its incredible! PROPS!

  • What's the song?

  • só assim para as autoridades fazerem manutenção, vergonhoso!

  • thats just lame......they even got some decoration there

  • this is awesome this shows how the government government works . my respects to this man

  • For the love of imagination!! How could you be so blind?? Such creativity, concept and skill!! Glad I got to see this! Thank Fuck for video!!

  • I think, I'm in love.

  • police ruin everything!... i bet that the city didnt have planed on cleaning that bridge for like 10 years! they just want to bother people that want to express themselves doing good things.... if i were them i would let the art on and i would give something to the boy... he made somthin Eco Friendly!.. not everyone does that!.. well but i guess one comment cant change anything!

  • @graffsk8er well the only reason the police stopped him was cuz they thought he was doing graffiti... as u can clearly see, they didnt do anything to him so he got to continue with his work, and he did the same thing to several bridges as well after this one,

  • @graffsk8 his message is tht we need to make better fuel alternatives because our current sources of fuel are killing the environment. if emission smoke is doing that to the inside of a bridge in one city, can u imagine wat all the cars in the world are doing to the atmosphere

  • THAT WAS FUKEN BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! THEY SAY WE'RE FUKIN UP THE CITY WHAT ABOUT ALL DAT SHIT U JUST DUMPED IN THE OCEAN!!!!

  • Hey, our walls finally look nice! Let's wash it off.

  • Seems counter-intuitive to wash it off when its technically cleaner than it was to begin with

  • What city is this?

  • @slickd09 Sao Paulo - Brazil

  • whats the name of the song?

  • The whole thing is genius! gotta love how the police wasn't sure how to handle the situation; after all, he was just cleaning up.

  • This is so typical

just cause he is making something nice that isn't considered "normal" they think he's doing somehting bad so they call the police and now that there was finally something nice on there they decide to wash it off

that city is making a foul out of hitself i'f you ask me

  • that was poetic as fuck

  • Of course the city decides to clean the bridge after someone express their art work on it. Pricks

  • how could you just hose work like that

  • way to creep the fuck out of the civil maintenance crew there...

  • pure genius, I mean what can the cops do? fine you for cleaning the bridge?

  • Haha I imagine the conversation he had with the cops "but officer.... I'm just cleaning the dirt off...."

  • they need to start worrying more about how dirty the fucking city is ant not how much people write graffiti

  • here is an idea..."invisible paint"

normal water with a little uv reactive colour in it,so even if they clean it,the thing would stay on for at least a day....this would be usefull in the streets=)

  • @legice there is already something like that!

its called stealth ink! search it!!

  • I was driving home and i thought about this. since it so dirty if we just clean it to make graffiti :D and if they want to get rid of it they going to have to clean the whole thing because if only cleaning that spot would just leave a big spot

  • some nasty sludge they be flushing there

  • its sad that the only way the cleaning crew would do their job is when police thought someone was breaking the law..

  • @cash442

and note that Alexandre is wearing a full on gas mask, whereas the cleaning crew guy has no protection from all the car fumes and probably toxic dirt he's washing! (not very OSH ' health and safety'!)...

  • Nice work, but such a pitty that the establishment seemed to be against types of free speach that are not verbal. :'(

  • Este video es la fuente de inspiración de muchos artistas urbanos y personalmente mi inspiración para hacer arte urbano con mensaje que cree conciencia bien hecho alexandre gracias por habernos compartido tu trabajo

    paz y respeto!!!

  • Art in it's finest. Redefining a persons perceptions of a clean slate can be turned into art. Now its Filth turn Gold. They should reconsider this for Community Service!

  • But I know we all can't stay here forever,

so I want to write my words on the face of today.

    and then they'll paint it

  • This should be shown clockwork orange style to all tedious little 'taggers' till they understand the difference between graffiti as a public service and graffiti as signing your name on someone else's work.

  • This should be shown clockwork orange style to all tedious little 'taggers' till they understand the difference between graph as a public service and graph as signing your name on someone else's work.

  • What the city cleaners don't know is that when they washed away the "graffiti", they're only washing away the dirt and crap that the artist left behind.

  • How graffiti SHOULD be done. My props to this dood!

  • Don't those guys realize this isn't Fight Club? You don't destroy something beautiful just because you feel like it!

  • what is the name of this song?

  • Ok i don't think most of you are getting all of this.Yes he wants it to be washed off ,but he is using skulls for a reason. He's saying pollution kills. The dirt on the walls is exhaust soot from the cars. The last scene with the black ooze going down the drain is not to symbolize the skulls but to show whats being washed away down the drain. He's emphasizing what was on the wall.

  • TheSpambomber: I don't understand your comment. Isn't it the exact opposite? They would rather have a clean wall than have a dirty one with art on it. That is why they hosed it down to clean it. I think that's what the artist intended. He wanted them to clean the wall.

  • i don't understand this video.. :(

  • @AkshXP The paint he use is very washable, so when he grafitties the bridge it forces them to wash it of. His goal is to make them wash the bridge because it's so dirty ;)

  • @xStealthClown Are you retarded? He's not using paint. He's using a cleaner, and he uses the contrast between the dirty and clean wall to create the art. Don't make up fake facts.

  • You just have to respect this!!! It's awsomw!

  • would the government wash it if this genius guy hadn't 'clean' it with via artwork in the first place? and would they wash it if this guy did something else other than skulls? c'mon man.. art is everywhere, even from dirt. excellent!

  • ...can't believe they washed it off...

  • @LovelyKyoru I don't think you understand. Art like this is meant to be "destroyed." Washing it off or painting over it (in the case of normal graffiti) is a reflection of life. "All things must come to an end," as they say. Some art it meant to just exist for a moment. The great thing is that we have this video so that everyone around the world can see it.
