Interesting, but I hope your wrong. I have had enough of the visions with Baltar and Six, Adama and his ex wife, etc... I think starbucks destiny was to find earth and lead them there instead of being just Lees vision.

I think season four is going to be phenomenal. We know the writers are capable, I'm keeping faith. They seem to be almost ready to hit us with their big plan. Season three might just be an uncomfortable puberty in the evolution of the show.
Ron said that the show is coming up on the last act of the story in the maelstrom podcast. I think it's a good thing. The show is shot so much like a movie that if it drug on for ten seasons it would be unbearable. The drama that we always have to go through would start to drag us down. This is only season three and think how hard it's getting? .
BSG just frakkin' rocks. even though everybody's saying that Season 3 was so bad... dudes, I don't think so. it's just not all about fights against the cylons... how many season could you fill with that? crossroads was just freakin' awesome

PS, I also bet the 22 ep order would help K's decision as well, because unless I am wrong they are paid by the episode number, correct? 22 with Battle looks much better as opposed to 13 or none. She is an actress and needs to hedge her bets just like Ron Moore does if any actor were to leave.

All these main characters being "cylons" is the biggest change I've had to deal with. Bottom line, I hope I am wrong in thinking the show is in trouble. It's a great concept that began in the 70's and deserves to be finished. As such, I will try to keep optimistic about RDM's concept for this show. Let the waiting begin....

You are dead on J....as for any budget cuts, this was filmed well before any episode number decision or any solid ratings problems. We have to all remember there is a huge hiatus, much longer than a normal show.

We have all 12 cylons now. What I think is that the last 5 cylons will help Galactica and the fleet get to Earth. I think the first 7 cylons tried to revolt and wanted to take over the Cylon empire. They want to rule the galaxy themselves. Every other cylon? They want to bring the humans together. That's what I think. (And I totally called everything that happened without spoilers dammit!!!)

But we all know Starbuck (along with Apollo and Adama) is one of the most important characters of the show and RDM confirmed on E! Online that "Katee will be back with us for season four. We couldn't let her go." So there we have it, we're all happy.
If you look at the way that scene was shot... it does look kinda "dreamy" doesn't it? However, there is an interesting paralell with Starbuck's visions of the phantom Cylon Raider in Maelstrom... she saw it but there was nothing in dradis. This time the camera show us actual dradis contact on Lee's screen.
Now -- could this mean that there really IS something out there -- Kara, Cylon Kara, God-Kara, whatever -- or is this just Lee's alluncinating subjective POV?
We don't know all 12 Cylons, unless you're saying that Kara is one.
