On my game, the chopper shows up instantly and gets killed by the sam sites, and it's impossible to win. I destroyed all nod forces, and nothing happened.
There' a better method... you can drive an APC with 3 engineers into the base from the left side and capture and sell 2 advanced power plants and the construction yard. That way, the obelisks are dead, and you can take out the SAMs with your remaining forces.
