  • The pistons couldn't get a break. they were close for years and couldnt get over hump until 1989.

  • Isiah sucks

  • Anyone that believe that Isiah was faking, need to eat a dick. That man had so many injuries throughout his career. That was the heart of a man who finally made it there against a team that already had won many times, Pistons were the underdog; he wanted to win. The passion was there. No one could stop Zeek.

  • even if he did fake the limp, which he didnt, i think you losers are forgetting about the 25 POINTS IN THE FOURTH QUARTER of a playoff game.

  • Gutsiest player ever

  • Knowing Isiah, he probably exaggerated his limp.

  • @sumskater999 thats funny considering that you don't know Isiah

  • @netpup I know him as a Pistons Bad Boy, that's for damn sure. Trying to pick fights with guys twice his size, and playing as dirty as necessary to win it all.

  • If you can score 25pts in a 1/4 there's no need to carry this big limp whenever you're not scoring, just BS

  • AMAZING!

  • I wish players these days had half of one of Thomas' balls.

  • Definitely shouldn't be #1 - you cant be number 1 if you lose the game. Even though the Pistons lost, this was one of the most inspirational games I've ever seen in any sport. ALL HEART...

  • pistons won this game "Matt72582".

  • @MrReggiebird Uh they didn't win this game...This was game 6 and LA was down 3-2....The Lakers won this game and the next to go babck to back

  • y the fuck was he limping wen he could clearly sprint up and down the court??

  • @mufcrulz once you get the juices flowing you can start to run. Its just really painful starting and stopping.

  • fuck off isiah. go play football with michael jordan.

  • :chills:

  • SIMMONS!!!

  • the worst coach of all time was one of the greatest and baddest PGs in the league

  • basketball today lacks the passion of the old..

  • flu game is better. atleast the bulls won. those should be switched

  • @kooj22 Hell naw

  • This is the #1 greatest moment... #2 is when Isiah scored 16 pts in the last 92 seconds of a deciding game against the Knicks to send it to OT.

  • @matt72582 they lost this game so no, not trying to take away what he did, but #1?

  • @matt72582 These can't be #1 and #2 because they LOST both games....

  • my god...

if anyone could play with this attitude and spirit, it doesn't matter winning or losing anymore

  • shit man, i just twisted my ankle and im crying like a baby. isiah thomas is one badass motherfucker.

  • why everybody says SIMMONS?

  • that is determination anybody didn't even try to play through but felt short to the Lakers

  • Hate the Pistons and dislike Isiah Thomes... but that being said I sprained my ankle exactly how he did (the same year too) and could not walk for a week without crutches. This is probably the greatest performance in Finals history and deserves to be MUCH higher than #13. Coming from a Lakers fan too.

  • simmons

  • simmons

  • For all the people saying he was milking it...I met him and asked him...he smiled and said "You must be a Laker fan"..

  • SIMMONS!!!

  • i just do not believe that trainers, coaches, and the rest of the teams organization

would let a star player risk injuring thomas further than what looked pretty bad already.

i just think its for show or some shit. thats why kobe always does it and it pisses me off. its some BS that a star player like him would risk his abilities , games and possibly the championship for winning some meaningless regular season game. just rest you fuckin idiot, and stop trying to show off.

  • @roma11n Isiah Thomas was doing it because it was the NBA FINALS.

Resting him means he is probably done for the season.

  • The bad boys game so close to 3 peating based of this performance right here. Isiah is one of the 20 greatest players ever despite Magic always hating on him.

  • i agree nba players do milk injuries a bit 2 much jus get up and play and dnt be drama queens

  • Omg someone get that guy an academy award!!! That was just about as much acting and bullshit as Jordan's "flu game." How do people really buy into this bullshit??

  • @mattgarciatx

They buy into it about as much as they do Kobe's "broken finger" bullshit.

  • Exactly man!!! Kobe probably just has a jammed finger, but the media always makes it more than what it is and uses the term "broken." Notice in this video Isiah is running around just fine when he's driving to the basket, then after he makes the layup or the jump shot that's when he goes to limping and hobbling like he's barely able to stay up!!! ahahahaha!!!

  • lol, yeah :\ like the whole Paul Pierce deal a couple years ago >_> He is like screaming in pain like he just broke his leg, and like 4 minutes later he comes back from the locker room in perfect health like he's Larry Bird or something (if you remember when Bird did that once)

As for Kobe. . .yeah that's what I figured too. I researched what injury he actually had, and all it was, was a 2 week heal, then it's fine. He is still wearing the splint months later. . .

  • lolz teehee LMAO SMH

  • What the fuck are you talking about? Quit looking all around youtube for comments I made over a month ago so you can reply to them. Stalker much?

  • @SinJackal LOL TEEHEE LALALALA make love to all of my holes

  • So you're telling us you have proof that Jordan did not in fact have the flu, and that Isiah Thomas did not have a sprained ankle?

  • The most heroic performance by a competitor

  • SEE,this is why I consider Pierce a faker..Isiah returned but was still limping on every play..Pierce returned like nothing happened after people were saying he couldn't walk while being led to the locker

  • Jeez. I hate Thomas but he had my respect. That Piston Team was nasty.

  • maybe the toughest player to ever play ball.

  • there's jordan's flu game... but isaiah's a beast... this game was awesome...

  • thats heart thats true basketball

  • this actually deserves a higher rank this is true passion and such a far better playoff performance than 3 tht i can think off

  • it would if the pistons won that year but a dubious "foul" on jabbar lost them their three-peat

  • @sebiDD7

I'm with you this should be in the top 5...

  • Damn Isiah is raw. Can't see any player today doing that.

  • He's not really hurt. it's just an excuse. Kobe always has an excuse

  • isah is the best

  • Amazing commitment to his team... If I were in tht position I wd be on the floor, begging for help.. not getting up and continuing a final and playing at the highest level!..

  • This was truly incredible but another Isiah moment should have been 16 points in 94 seconds.

  • im a lakers fan but i gotta give isaiah props on that, playing injured like that and still being able to make a difference, what a player

  • Zekes a pretty bad gm for the knicks now, but damn i respect him as a player.

  • pistons should have won the title... isiah MVP

  • you ever feel lik tht when ur playin balla nd no one cans top u? such a great feeling

  • dat's heart ryt der..

  • but the pistons lost at the end...103-102..they JUST NEED 1 BASKET..to win the championship..but they didnt get that

  • GREATNESS

  • this should be top 5... 13? are you serious? this is what it's all about! you talk about guts, determination, and 25 points in a quarter! I mean what more do you want? Isiah was a phenomenal player...

  • and he did this on a badly sprain ankle, you see the guts and heart when he's running back after the layup 0:08. To bad they got jabbed by the refs in that game

  • and a phenomenal jerk

  • You have a good point, but it is greatest "moments", this is more of a greatest game.

  • Isiah was a great player, despite bing shown up by Jordan all the time. But he's a joke of a coach. lol

  • Hes amazing...even Cooper couldnt stop him

  • Whatever his rep as a coach/executive, zeke's legacy as a player will always be secure.

  • yeahyoung24

why did he have to become an NBA coach/executive?? So many people have forgotten how great he really was as a player.

so true, but he kinda tarnished his own reputation.

  • as far as im concerned, this should've been number one. you talk about guts and passion, this personified both of those and more.

  • Man the Pistons got fucked by the refs that game on a "foul" committed by Laimbeer on Abdul-Jabbar

  • they did get screwed that game!!

  • this should 11# for the greatest moments in the playoffs

  • why did he have to become an NBA coach/executive?? So many people have forgotten how great he really was as a player.
