  • Great Videos and Knowledge. Thanks.

  • bleed a feeder jar down to have vacuum? Maybe I'm just thick, but how?

  • thanks for info

  • can you re-use the frames from a starve out?

  • @ninemikemike you can re use the frames but I find that the bees will rebuild on new foundation better and I can reuse the wax. I just melt it down and run it thru my wax mill.

  • Sad sorry

  • Thank you!!! awesome info -love you man!!

  • I have heard some keepers say that paraffin wax may have negative impact on the bees - that is bees produce distorted cells or more drones etc. is this true?

  • never use anything but pure bees wax. that is all I use as I recyle all my own wax

  • No doubt that this information will save some heartache for bees and beekeepers! You are a kind man:)

    Thank you:)

    Lisa

  • I try to give best info I can we need every beekeeper to not give up on bees

  • I got the chance to meet the "Fatbeeman" today and my brain almost exploded from all the info this guy can quote.

It was quite the learning experience and watching this video taught me something new. Fill the feed jars all the way to the top to create good vacuum so the dripping won't effect the bees in the winter.

    Great video.

  • sorry you lost your bees but i think it is a lesson in beekeeping..bees will not survive without food..thank you video..

  • Excellent short course on beekeeping maintenance! I left my colony with 2 hive bodies well stocked with honey to winter with but still need to check
