  • @mostangrypirate ichigo can mean strawberry or one who protects. Srry my auto correct sucks.

  • @mostangrypirate ichigo can mean strawberry or on who protects.

  • Srry @mrsparkyson my mistake I forgot mr.

  • @sparkyson it's ra, not la... There is no L series , r in Japanese sounds like L. Just saying....

  • 私の名前頬nほおんですか。

  • Sound like a song

  • are you from japan?

  • 字www

  • la li lu le lo ... fucking patriots are here.

  • But then desu and/or imasu, the "su" is silent??? 0.o

  • @MisticWays No. In certain instances, Su can just be pronounced as Ss.

  • First of all the hiragana (and katakana) ain't an alphabet. They are sillabarys. And they are no similar as the english alphabet. A B C D E F G...ain't similar as ka ki tsu mo no sa shi, etc. The ふ sign can say "fu" or "hu". And は only pronunced as "wa" when it uses as a particle. The last thing い must to say is: practice your calligraphy. Pay atention to は ふ わ る ひ ろ あ。I like those pictures at the begginind specially the waves one

  • so the hero's name on Bleach stands for strawberry !!!! that lying orange haired bastard said in meant the protector of one !!!

  • 2:17 pooping?? xD

  • how do you write words such as ohayo gozaimasu when there is no g in the hiragana alphabet!!???

  • @Ruth1400 Then, you get into another set of letters, and it has the G's, such as Ga as you mentioned, it has Py's such as Pyo, Ky's like Kyo, and Gy's such as in the word Gyaru, the vowel is Gya, Ry's such as Ryo. :] Hope it helped ^^

  • is it Hiragana ??

  • WTF...he DID say fu correctly -_-

  • lol u like ichigo because of bleach! :P

  • i know orange is "mikan" but it is also ok with orenji :)

  • how is the vocabulary??? the first one is A then B then C ....Etc...

    Or is in other way?

  • weel this is in hiragana so what about katakana??

  • Click here for Japanese English bible vids. GBU

  • Firstly, There is NOT a Japanese alphabet, IT IS A SILLABERY. two actually, and mind me IT'S THE LATIN ALPHABET, not english

  • "The Japanese alphabet is alot like the english alphabet" Did i learn the wrong English Alphabet in Pre-K?

  • @HesDaryl its hard to translate it into english, it means much as "be"

  • @HesDaryl it means noodles, people scream it all the time cuz they want noodles(i've been to japan)

  • @HesDaryl It's a basic verb, meaning Positive Current.

  • Thanks

  • Mommy Mu me mo xD

  • Dont say sayonara every time you want to say good bye, because you just say Sayonara when u will never see the person anymore!

  • or in english you say "taco" but in japanese you say "ta ko su" or "タコス"

  • or in english you say "taco" but in japanese you say "ta ko su" or "タコス"

  • Ha ha this is awesome! :)

  • It's not hahihuheho. It's reading hahifuheho. ふ= fu

  • @Cornel2025 i think its because when you say it, it's not exactly "fu" because its between f and h :o so more like fhu

  • @Cornel2025 ふ ,'fu' = pronouced 'hu'

  • @Cornel2025 actually the f sound if japanese isnt as harsh as it is in english. its more of an h sound.

  • @Cornel2025 If you listen closely he is pronouncing it "hu" with a sort of "f" winded sound. Which is the correct pronunciation. It's neither blatantly HU or FU. But a mixture of between.

  • @Cornel2025 if u listen properly, he is pronouncing it properly. use high quality headphones and LISTEN

  • @Cornel2025 I thought the sound of the F was very silent, almost like an h sound? But still classed as an F

  • @Cornel2025 it´s not A KA SA TA NA "WA" MA YA RA WA N

is A KA SA TA NA "HA" MA YA RA WA N

    looser.

  • @Cornel2025 It's pronounced exactly as he says. It's only written like fu in romaji since there's no equivalent.

  • i saw some japan girls in my school yesterday

  • SUBSCRIBED! :D

  • @lildevilxxangel me too!! n_n

  • muito bom gostei ^^

  • Best part about Japanese is the characters! I read like a 4 year old Japanese child, but I'm practicing with Furigana and the google translator so I can learn the Kanji.

  • What? There are girls named Kenny? Strange...

  • Man the japanese has more than 25000 letters to read a newspaper :D

  • except it says "Speak Japanese" it should say "read Japanese"

  • this is hiragana right?

  • @BlueKyuubi63

    Yes.

Hiragana is more curvatious and bubbly, as where Katakana is more angular and sharp.

Then, Kanji, is the complex version of the symbols.

  • at 0:09 was the picture in the middle a picture of Susanoo from japanese mythologly?

  • your caligraphy is not even close to good but at least i can understand it

  • @akiragondo It is not calligraphy.

  • For instance, take an English word as simple as rice. In order for the Japanese to say and spell this, it has to be made into two syllables, rai su. On the other hand, English speakers can spell and say out loud every Japanese word with minimal sacrifice of the original word

  • @takadi raisu has three syllables

  • @panbora

considering Japan already has a word for rice, that is just fucking sad

  • @panbora yep... and when it comes to syllables it cant be compared to english at all... also i dont think the japanese kana is similar to the alphabet, like he says in the video.

  • Like many things in the world, languages are in competition with each other. Evidence of the huge usage of English words in Japanese indicates that it is an inefficient language that is unable to adapt. Alot of it has to do with the fact that it is a system based on syllables rather than letters. Where the former can only be combined in ways that makes sense in the Japanese language system, English letters and sounds can be used in almost every language.

  • @takadi

Hi - I am just curious - what are the 'English letters' ? I have never heard about them before, so I would be very excited to learn something new. I heard about 'thorn' , however it is not used anymore in contemporary English. Are there any other English letters that I should know about? You see I wrote quite a long passage here and I did not need to use any English letter so far. I used only letters from Latin alphabet, as my keyboard doesn't have any English letters at all. Sad :-(((

  • @NUREKPODWODNY

Yes, the English Alphabet borrowed from Latin characters, but it is still the English alphabet. But way to avoid the conversation with useless pedantics. Btw, if you continue to argue on this minutia, it'll just prove to me that you're not intelligent enough to bring up anything that's worth anybody's time

  • i love learning japense but what i dont understand is why japenese writes backwords and down but i think its cool

  • YOUR SA is incorect.... it should be さ and your NA should be な

  • @FruityLoopsas dude its all right it doesnt have to have that joined line.

  • @FruityLoopsas Na is ok.... but your SA is incorect.... I am typing you sa now..... with microsoft keyboard.... さ So dude, learn first, then teach others... because you stink when you try to prove that your sa musn't be as I typed it with keyboard...... Your wishes are good, but learn it first......

  • @FruityLoopsas

His "sa" is totally correct, as fruityloopsas said.

Some handwritten Japanese characters has different shapes from the typed ones, like Enlish "a" is often written without curved line of the upper half of the character.

  • This is Hiragana

  • Very good, you explained a lot of things, basic things.

  • Ichigo means "one who Protects" NOT STRAWBERRY!!!!! :3

  • @jpkid956 what about the g?

  • @dejonmooremariosonic for ga gi gu ge go you just add something like " to the ka ki ku ke ko line so が ぎ ぐ げ ご

and you use the H line to create the B and P syllables (" for ba bi bu be bo)

    ば び ぶ べ ぼ

and ° for pa pi pu pe po

  • You need to hold that camera steady or better yet, don't hold it at all. All that shaking is annoying. However, since I do not speak Japanese I can not tell if you are doing a good job or not, but the camera work needs serious work. Good luck to you in the future.

  • 1:27 you say Ha for the "h" row but as you repeated it at 2:38, you said Wa. I noticed that you do that when you write Japanese as well. Why is that?

  • The best way to learn Japanese, multiple tutorials and lessons, watch this video - youtube.com/watch?v=wfseANZtMNg

  • fuck this i did japanese for like 3 years and used to able to speak it, not well, but well enough now i cant remember a single word of it

  • Wait...so girls say watashi and guys say bokua? Cuz I'm sure I once heard a guy from an anime say watashi instead of boku...

    I don't get it.......

  • @TheRealDeal1515 this is most complicated ;]

  • @TheRealDeal1515 It doesnt work like that. Watashi Means "I" very formally. Boku is very informal. Both boy and girls use Watashi. Sometimes girls say "Atashi" which is more feminine but remember there is no genitive in Japanese.

  • i like this video! actually i learned from it. i want to learn more japanesse language please teach me contact me at athan_aries@yahoo.com
