While I admit that a percentage of police officers have been found to be corrupt, the majority follow the guidelines given to them. You're kidding, right? People who are brutalized don't break the law? Rodney King took the cops on a chase that endangered all involved and the citizens of L.A. Sean Bell tried to flee the scene. If you get stopped, just comply and no one will get brutalized. Criminals are dangerous, and will attack/kill police officers withou thinking twice, so they need to be controlled and subdued forcefully. If you've done nothing wrong, you have nothing to fear.

And what exactly did Abner Louima do to justify what happened to him? One of officers THOUGHT that Louima "sucker-punched" him. (Never proven). The POLICE stuck a plunger in his anus and mouth in the bathroom of the police precinct. They, [the police],then lied to cover the assault by saying that Louima had "abnormal homosexual sex". (So they are were lying about the assault they did and blamed it on the "Gay and Lesbian" community. ) So tell me, what dangerous criminal act did Louima do?
