  • Hi. I'm sure the incense smells great, BUT you're grinding it the hard way! You'll find it a lot easier if you use a proper grinding technique. Rather than try to explain, the following video has a very good demonstration of it:

Hope it saves your wrist a bit ;-)

  • It is much easier to grind incense into powder if you keep the base ingredients in the freezer. If you mix in a bit of ash into the pulverized mixture, it will keep it from clumping when it thaws out. Just a suggestion.

  • Love the mortar and pestle I got one similar.

  • Thanks however now i have a marble one

  • how long does it last

  • the ingredients start to lose some of their magical properties after around 2 weeks so i tend to make a new lot then. Or 1 week if storing in plastic bags

  • i mean when you start burning it, how long does it take for it to burn out

  • i mean how long does it take to burn after lighting

  • Never mind. I wasn't paying attention to the profile name.

  • the girl should invest in a coffee grinder. What is the purpose of alter insence. I'm guessing you are catholic, and please excuse my ignorance, how does incense fit into Christian culture. It seems so pagan.

  • i dont like using a coffee grinder i have fun doing it by hand. and incense plays a big part in the christian/catholic culture.

  • never could understand why

  • They use it to bless and cleanse people and areas

  • allrighty. thanks :)
