It was pretty good, until you narrowed it down to "Christians persecuting the Jews" in general, as if it were all the Christians. It was the Roman Catholics who persecuted you. Not my people, the Essene Nazarenes, who were Jewish but whom pretty much turned away from the Pharisee and Sadduccee when they betrayed ha Messiahk. Psalms 22 is an obvious Prophecy fulfilled that most modern Jews deny, because they want a warrior for a Messiahk.
and also, the Roman Catholics persecuted the Essene Nazarenes as well. They destroyed the original temples of the Apostiles and replaced them. They burned books and destroyed the works of my people. While I can't identify with the history of your family and the Jews, I can certainly recognise how all this fits into my story.
