Fate/EXTRA NG+ - Endgame - Bonus Boss: Monster (Ryougi Shiki)

Guys, I beat Shiki easily with Caster at level 43 with stats Defense set on C and Magic set on EX. After you're done leveling Magic to EX, focus purely on Defense cause it makes Caster a lot better on surviving and it increases Skill too. :) I beat Shiki with just the use of 2 Elixers and of course I spam a lot my skills for blank spots until I could use Caster's noble phantasm and bam, it's all over for Shiki. :)

My Caster's level 41, and I have no idea how you got through this, whether you knew what she was going to do or were really lucky. Every time, I'd lose about the 3rd or 4th turn in which she would seal my skills and kill me with Twin Towers. I can't tell when she'll use certain skills, and it's hard to decide whether to heal mana or HP.

@xVicko2x Yeah at this level you pretty much have to get lucky, and spam skills like mad.

@Cyril86 Maybe I'll grind a little bit and increase my defense and luck or something, hopefully avoiding as much damage and less of a chance of being sealed.

@xVicko2x the key is to up tama's atk stat once mgi is full and use the buff that lets you leech mp from break attacks. I won at 41/42 without any elixirs. You do on the other hand need to keep restarting if you get hit by skill lock tho.

@Phylia09 You get to keep your money, formal wear(except for the one sorta-story related one), and information about regular enemy patterns.

You also get to rechoose your gender, name, and servant.

And if you do all of Taiga's requests, you'll be able to fight Ryougi at the very end of the game.

By the way I have a dump question and I am sorry this is out of the topic but since you manage to have a NG+ and that you use Caster I was wondering, did you get the Matrix Level E with her? If is so, may I ask, which were the answers that you give her went you talked to her during the weeks? Sorry for this I’m just looking for reference since I could´t get the Level E Matrix, If you can I’ll wait for your response. Any case many thanks.

@DeathofTimeGriever On a second or later playthrough, do all of Taiga's requests, and examine the object that appears in the place Taiga usually is at.

Then you'll be able to fight her in the Infinite Chimeric Lunar Sea.

@Theespada13 That's due to Ryougi's particular variant of the Eyes of Death. Nanaya had Eyes that saw the End of life, which is why he can't kill spirits or conceptual beings like servents. Tohno had Eyes that saw the Middle of life, which is why he can't kill anyone but can steal life force with his knife blows, and Ryougi can see the Origin of life, which is why she can effect conceptual beings and spirits, she can see their anchor to the real world and cut them.

Her name is perfect, she is a monster.

Now, if only we could get the OTHER Shiki for CCC I'd be happy. I like Ryougi, but Shiki Nanaya is fine too.

@BradRy2 Nah, I think Shiki was better, after all, this IS a person who proclaimed that she could wipe out most of Reality, and has already killed 99 Servants on her own ... do you need any more proof of just how GAR a final boss could be? Although I must admit Arcueid would have made an interesting twist.
