Good one.... u have simplicity and perfection. Again congrats for winning in 2011 Keerala Kalolsavam. I have seen the same varnam performed by Aishwarya too. I have downloaded the video and converted to mp3. I like thodi a lot. One more is there in Thodi ... Rupamu Jochi .... (Hope i spelled it correct)
Hi Meera, Excellent varnam in Thodi. You have done a good job, but I think the first theermanam could have been better. Anyways All the best. Keep up the good work.
I have been learning bharatanatyam for almost 12 years but i have been in intense training in a big dance school called natya dance theatre here. i have been apart of this dance school for about 3 or 4 years. I have been learning mohiniyattam and kuchipudi for about 4 to 5 years and i just started kathak about 2 years ago. You are the first person i found that is learning as many dances as i do and keep the styles separated. You are very talented.
@meeraguruvayur My barathanatyam guru is Hema rajagopalan, shes from chennai. My mohiniyattam and kuchipudi teacher is janiki anandavali shes from trivandrum, and my kathak guru is Kiran Chouhan disciple of Briju Maharaj. You are Ananda sar's student right? I have a teacher named Jinu who i go to for cinematic dances and she knows Ananda Sar. I might be learning some dances from him when he comes to chicago. I am very excited.
@enella16 Its really nice to know that am a role model for some. Its an inspiration for me too. What all dances are you learning?Do tell me more about yourself.
Meera, what an excellent dancer you are. I have seen all your video uploads in Youtube here.
No words to describe your dancing ability which has got Grace, Crisp, Command of Rythm,
Nritta, Nritya and Natya all there.
Best Wishes
