With hindsight the story might have worked better as a short mini series. You can tell by this point the narrative/editing is all over the place, with too many characters involved.

@ScottsIrishCrow Because the carnival will offer a person what they want most but it comes with a consequence. Like mrs foley wants to be young and beautiful and then once she is, she becomes blind.
@Plutonian96 There was a different sequence planned and filmed for that part using early computer technology but it was scrapped due to it not being convincing enough. The spider scene was then filmed instead.
HOLY SHIT!! I was not prepared for that spider sequence! As someone who's already freaked out by spiders that just sent shivers down my spine! I mean come on, in the BED too? Once more, I'm watching this at night, in my room, with just my lamp on for light. *Shivers*
