First heard this song when on holidays in Caloundra Queensland in August 1977.I loved it so much and have listened to it hundreds of times.My twelve year old loves it as well and it bonds us closer.We live in the Dandenongs near Melbourne and the archer dreams his dream on the paths through the forest.

ToHearAMockingbird..they are frogs. Where I live we call them spring peepers which is very fitting for this song as I first heard it in early spring just as the chorus of little froggies began! Always takes me back! B.T.W there is a male Red winged black bird in there too!!!
