  • Thumb Up iF you like :)

  • *nod nod nod nod nod nod*

  • dam so hypnotic... queue hypno toad!!!!

  • This song is really meaningful, and is past my expectations for a good song.

  • The whole album - and experience live - is like a book. You'll never get to the bottom of it but it's endlessly rewarding and the most heartfelt thing I think they've done. In a roundabout way. This and Annie's Box bring me to tears every time

  • the parts that sound like karin sound like that because there's lowered octave voices accompanying, like in most fever ray/knife songs. its awesome to hear it done knife-style on other people's voices

  • METALZOOJEWELRY,COM

DEAD MEAT SKULL RINGS VOODOO DOLLS.

  • I didn't really like this album until I saw the actual opera. Now I absolutely love it and this is one of my all time favourite Knife songs. And while Karin would undoubtedly have sang it fantastically, I really love the vocals on this; she (Laerke Winther) sang it brilliantly when I saw it live too.

  • Im with you syne

  • I feel all alone in the world loving this opera. Nobody knows about it, and people I tell don't care. I feel like I'm holding on to the best kept secret in the world.

  • @Syne111 Is it really that good? I only heard of it and checked this out but I didn't listen the whole thing.

  • @iamBizarreMonster Yes, it's that good

  • @Syne111 Get used to it. Most people lack three elementary things: patience, curiosity and a sense of quality :)

  • I always imagine Karin singing this song...

  • Then the buzzing cicadas rock us to sleep... How is Charles? I haven't heard from him for a long, long time... A thousand years seem to pass so quickly. <3

  • ps. Oh, Z0NK, 'real music' is subjective. Remember the chink from ECGTB danced to silence. You didn't memba that did you m8.

  • I kinda thought this WAS Karin. Like sans vocoder or w/e and I was like yessssss. But its ok that's it not.

    ...It really isn't? hm.

  • Imagine the part "how Charles, I've have not heard from him for long long time" in the karin's voice!

  • KARIN SHOULD SING THIS TRACK!!!

  • 1:14-1:36 reminds me of Karins style of singing ;)

  • i like silent shout album better

  • This is what the evolution sounds like.

  • So far from what i've heard this is the only decent track on the whole album, the rest-abstract noise, pressing random subtle fx on a synth, not real music

  • @Z0NK100: It's not exactly your traditional album...but that said, Colouring of Pidgeons is a great song, and something you might like.

  • great music...great song! Karin dreijer is an artist!!! a real one!

  • Respond to this video... i am a fat mess

  • I LOVE Karin's voice, but for this track, I think the singer had the perfect voice for the tune rather than Karin. I adore this song so much!

  • This is great!!!!!! definition of good music..

  • This is awesome

  • man the vocals are fine. babies.

  • @mybodyisacage baby vocals are fine. man.

  • Karin is a pagan goddess! I totally adore her! Awesome song!!!

  • sublime. bien para escuchar a la mañana

  • amazing

  • I agree...I wish it was Karin singing

    But its still good

  • This track is quickly growing on me ^^ A perfect ending to the album. I love the lyrics - how the present time and the perspective of million years of evolution blend together. I just wish Karin sang it :(

  • does noone else hear heartbeats?

  • yeah i hear it a lot.

  • @BoxProductionsInc My thoughts exactly. Hmm.

  • The vocals on this track dont make it happen for me.

  • this song is waayy beyond anything i've ever heard. <33

  • this whole ALBUM is waayy beyond anything i've ever heard <33

    =)

  • @Jjaegerr

ha well i'm not too familiar with their stuffs:O, i've barely started to listen to them. do you have any suggestions? :)

  • hmm, im sure you at least know about fever ray by now (her solo project). another band you should look up is "Honey Is Cool", a band Karin was in before she and her brother formed the knife. you'll be very hard pressed to find there CD's though. some songs i would suggest by Honey Is Cool is Bolero, Baby Jane, The Lion, Breeding Bugs and Georgia.

  • @Jjaegerr thanks!"D

  • I just found out that The Knife were putting out another album. Jesus, I'm so happy =D

  • its not an album its a soundtrack

  • does anyone know if its possible to get an instrumental?

  • Never heard Lærke Winther sing before, only acting. But she has a nice voice. I don't think it would have been better with Karin singing tho.

  • This woman has a lovely voice, but I'd love to hear Karin's take.

  • The Knife will ALWAYS be my favourite. It has been FAR too long!

  • The best song ever. The Knife for life.
