@pipe603 I can't remember what we had the pedal set to here, I think 12 o'clock is probably a safe bet though. And we would really love to do more videos but it's become almost impossible because of living situations and school, there's just no time. Keep an eye out for some instructional vids coming up, but I don't think we'll be doing anymore performance videos in the near future.

Great cover man! My version of this song doesn't sound nearly as good. I have a couple questions for you.  I have the Boss PH-2 Super Phaser Mike uses, what settings do you use? Also, I use a Boss DD-3 Digital Delay pedal, I'm not sure what delay your using, but do you have any suggestions for getting the right delay time? I have a hard time with that. This is killer man! I play in an Incubus tribute band in Kennesaw, GA, and I can tell you, I use that exact guitar and play it the same way you do haha. The only thing different is I do swells in the main verses.

What kind of phaser do you use for that intro?

Question: do you think Mike has fast feet for those seamless transition between the delay phase sound to distortion like the album or is he using a line selector like Boss LS2 or something to that effect?

He's just really good at switching pedals. I saw an interview somewhere a long time ago where he said that it was common for him to just bend down and mess with his pedal settings while switching effects in live shows.

So using a PH-2 pedal, you can make the attack of the guitar much quieter, so that it sounds like it does at 1:09? That's a really great sounding effect.

The effect for the intro is the MXR Phase 90. He doesn't use the PH-2 on the album version of Nowhere Fast, I only used it for the sitar solo here just to add some flavor to it.

You can get the same sound in mode one on the ph-2. Rate at 3 o'clock, depth at 1 and Res at 11. Great covers, truly impressed .

Hey, thanks for watching! None of our equipment has been modified in anyway, so everything is stock. I use my neck pickup on all our videos except Anna Molly, and as for distortion, I just use what my Marshall's got built in.
