Our band director for some odd reason made us play this at our district band festival 2 of four years I was in high school. I had the bass clarinet part the first time and baritone the second time....I was so glad he (our band director) slowed it down at the beginning!

Depends on how good and the grade. I played this in 8th grade and this year as a Freshy in High School, it's actually a fairly easy paice concidering the other peices we played. Just depends on the quality of the middle school band.

I love this piece, we are playing it this year also. It's wicked fun, especially with all our brass and percussion and high woodwinds, we are a mini band for in school band and we are flippin amazing. Mad props to my teacher, first year teaching. The First and Second movement is the best... GO FLUTES! Teehee ^.^
