Wonderful Nagasaki and its people!

1982-84 we lived in MHI Gaijin Shataku no.5, Bunkyo-Machi,

Neighbours to Nagasaki University.

We visited Nagasaki in 1995 and were thinking going back at sakura-time this year.

Sadly the terrible disaster happend. Experiencing the flood disaster in 1982 which took 299 lives we learned that the japanese people with dicipline and hard work are able to recover from this much worse as well.

若いときは、長崎を出たくてしょうがなかった。でも、今は、長崎­の町と人が

私をどれだけ温かく包んでいてくれた、守られていたという事を、­痛感しています。

長崎に帰ると、自然と長崎弁が戻ってくる・・・。
