This resolution was petty and small minded, it was the Democrats not being able to let things go! It will be reflected hopefully in the 2010 elections, after which hopefully Mike Pence can become speaker of the House.

In all due respect Mr. Pence.. Joe Wilson did not make a mistake.. His job and yours is to represent the people and nothing more. He did just that. It was not anymore disrespectful than Obama saying that those who appose him and this bill, are saying things that are not true. That is indeed Obama calling those people LIARS! It is calling someone a liar in two different forms but everyone looks at Mr. Wilson's way as disrespectful because it was more direct. There is no difference!

The difference between calling one thing a lie and another is whether it is in fact a lie. There are things that are true and things that are false. The fact that illegal aliens won't be covered is clearly put and seems to escape people. But if you want to defend a Son of the Confederate Veterans for yelling at a black man in public, well knock yourself out.
