  • Thanks a lot you are excellent instructor .

  • Omg, you saved my butt, thank you

  • Okay I took finite math in college and one of things we had to was the gauss jordan elimination method and basically it went over my head on how to do this method. He forgot to explain that the row you are working with goes back to being the same either verbally or visually after figuring out the row you are working with. I finally feel like I could sit a test on this and do all the problem with no problem. Thank You

  • Whoever the uploader is and what ever he is , a big thank you to you sir. Absolutely brilliant method to teach maths and very intuitive as well.

  • I am very happy to see the vidoe Algebra - Matrices Gauss Jordan Method Part 1 Augmented Matrix Intuitive Math Help from you, hopefully the others also are happy for You

  • Creo que fui engañada por lo de Algebra Matrices... creí que estaría en español.

    Duh...

  • I learned how to do matrices in my algebra 2 class in high school, and You helped me relearn everything for my college algebra class. thanks man :)

  • Thanks SO much!

  • thank you soooooooooo much. you saved my maths

  • Thank you for finally making me understand!

  • can i copy it?

  • my math teacher is so good in explainig this things it took her only 5 minutes to explain it to us :)

  • this is so easy :)

  • This video is extremely helpful. Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.

  • I have my maths lessons in a foreign language (Spanish) and I understood nothing in the lesson today when this was the topic. However, now I do. THANK YOU!

  • before you watched this video, thumbs up if u got the 1 in the top left corner and didnt know where to go from there lol

  • well i am too bad in my math , but to be honest this helped a lot .. thank you :)

  • @IntuitiveMath is it the same method for the 4x4

  • Out of the many websites and videos I've seen, this one has been most helpful in helping me understand matrices. Thank you!

  • This helped mucho,,gracious! :)))

  • LOL 10 STUPID TEACHER HATE THIS VIDEO

I THINK MORE HATING THEM SELFS AFTER WATCHING THIS DEMO

  • i have a quiz in 30 minutes...

  • that helped me

  • man , you're great!!!

  • what the fuck if I dont have 1 in my fuckiong matrix, gosh, well thats not the explanation that helped me

  • i have a math final exam tomorrow!

  • thanks, I'll never have problems balancing a chemical equation again

  • like solving a rubik's cube

you mess up something, then fix it

  • THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!!!!!!!

  • I get everything apart from interchanging rows... for what examples can you inter

  • if you are a teacher, you sound so equal to my old math high school teacher, mister jordan, he had always boring classes.

  • @Spicyshrimps Just because you don't get it...

  • Today my math teacher taught this (I'm in college), and I was like whhhaaaaaaaaaaaat. But you make me get it. This video is very helpful! Thank you :)

  • ..... @~@ I'm dumb... i don't get it :(

  • this math is jizz tastic

  • better than the teacher

  • you suck

  • @Spicyshrimps but your life will still remains meaningless...

  • how can you solve it using row shift?

  • you are awesome

  • Excellent video, subbed and thumbs up!

  • it really helped me!!! i understood better your explanation than the one of my teacher's... and, i'm an Spanish-talker!

    thanks so much!

  • muchas gracias, I'm a filipino, thanks. #FTW

  • GOD THANK YOU!!

  • could i plug in these numbers on my calculator and get the answers

  • Ok, this was an Ok video, but honestly, it was very unclear. You kept switching examples and going back and forth. When I learn, I want each step to be explained and to continue with a single example instead of hearing the teacher's internal monologue.

So what is the goal of the gauss-jordan method/matrix, to make a series of 1 and 0's...cause that sounds fucking stupid to me. Why not just do it via substitution/elimination. I'm so confused as to why matrixs are needed and what they are.

  • @MrWillyWasher69 I think it was very clear. He does this in his free time with no pay, so appreciate it. Think if everyone was like you, nobody would bother to contribute.

  • Omg your S! lol

  • Thanks a lot!!! You're my hero!! :)

  • it was so helpful for me

    thanks a lot

  • Thanks Sir ! for your invaluable guidance ! Please keep posting more such videos. I shall be glad to see more and more worked out examples in Matrices, Linear Algebra, Theory of Equations , Abstract Algebra and etc. topics.

  • hah, thanks, helps me understand better to hear it twice, and ur color-coating the numbers is great.! it makes better sense that way.

  • you are amazing

  • shoot me!

  • who was this gauss jordan?? :P why did he made tiz tinggg!

  • you write too slowly. and speak funny.

  • Thanks so much! I was going around in circles until I found this video!

  • thank you soooooooo much

  • i am sooo stuck what if you have an equation when its like x+y+z=0

x-y+z=2 x-y-z=10 i tried and tried i get stuck when in the second video you suggest adding the the r3+r2 and i get like x=5 y=1/-1 i dont know which is what z= -6 help me please please plase i tried and tried i when i do the equation like that 5+1+-6=0 i know that eqation is right but when i try 5-1+-6 =2 i keep on getting -2 which is wrong what the hell am i doing wrong please please please help me

  • Hi i used the Gauss Jordan SImulator of j.c Pimentel is really amazing the only cro is the language ( Spanish only) But still the Steps and Algorithm is really good explained in a intuitive way. the google translator could help a little.. so anyway to find this simulator just put this keywords gauss jordan simulator. on the page look for the zip.! dont forget comment there.!

  • excellently explained...thank you very much...it was soooo helpful!!!

  • thanks a lot. your vedioes are very helpful for me. thanks again

  • thank you man!! i have a quiz tomorrow!! hahahaha

  • i have a test lol

  • thank you man, i finally understood what i couldn't understand in 2 weeks from my teacher

  • TEST 2M! thanks

  • 6:20 -> How am i going to understand which number to choose, like u said -2 ?

  • Oh ok I got it ;-)

  • at about 7:18 he explains the strategy. The -2 is to make the first row start with a -2 to be added to the second row which produces the zero on the next matrix. :)

  • will you please be my professor?? mine sucks and he gets mad if you dont get it

  • @chels0609 Mine swears at us all the time. Horray NDSU!

  • THANX so much! you should be a professor in my university!

  • thank you man!

  • thanks!!! you saved my life!!!

  • Thanks!!!

  • this strategie is very very good:

start witih first column 100, then second column need to be 010(need to get 1 first and then zeros on top and bottom) and third column 001.( need one on bottom then zeros on top)

  • Gauss Jordan: Because who wants to get the same answer faster?

  • lol!

  • O_O Thankyou!!

  • Great tutorial. I never did learn matrices. They look incredibly tedious.

I'm on to part 2 to see how you get the diagonal 1's
