@CLautner41197 It is harder to do the splits in the air than on the ground. Just keep practicing-keeping your form and trying to get your legs higher (really bend going into them)

@xobreezygurls97 You can do straddle jumps without having your middle splits - they just wont be as big. Using the floor means really bending & pushing off of the floor to get height

ok in m school dance team we do an X jump (do u kno what tht is?) and my one of my friends said it looked sorta like a straddle jump.......so i guess if ppl need help with these the shud practice X jumps first
@Kartiah04 Not really - she might mean pointe - but the shoes today make it easier and not as hard on the feet. If you just do a few hours a week - (not 30-40 hours like a pro ballerina) then it isnt bad

@MsGrace2006 It is harder to do the leaps because you have to lift the legs in the air. On the floor you only need the flexibility to do the middle splits. It takes practice - really bend going into them and push up out of the flooor. Practice in front of a mirror if you can
@shikey9821 Work on form first before you try to get full splits or height. Practice in front of a mirror & work on keeping your hips square to the front
