OMG can you say EPIC?! Sever/Skye reminds me of a rocker version of hilary duff and miley cyrus (In a good way! because i adore hilary and miley). I can't believe i didn't know this band before. If you take it for what it is (that is, awesome) instead of what you feel it should be, you might actually enjoy the song for it's good qualities. Or, if you still don't like it, just leave. I honestly think Skye has improved as a musician and everyone who is bitching about this "new" Skye should hang their heads. If musicians remained the same for their entire career 1. they would get bored of what they're doing and 2. the fans would get bored of what they're hearing. You can't expect an artist to do the same thing forever. Get over it and appreciate how much her vocal range has evolved, and how much better the music has gotten.
