How come Obama does not talk about the rest of his siblings from his father side. His father was married before he married Obama's mother. Obama has 8 siblings, and has an older brother in England. Obama is a white man in a black man's skin. He was brought up more white than black and because he is bi-racial, Americans feel comfortable with him. He certainly did not have a hard life like other black kids. He was given the best by his grandparents and sent to the best school. Lucky guy!

Of course change and hope mean different things to different people. For me, "change", in the context of the 08 election means changing the current course of our country (returning to responsible foreign policy and responsible economic policy.) "Hope" to me, means we may have brighter and better days ahead of us. Thing are pretty bleak for many Americans right now. McCain equals Bush in terms of policy (Voted with Bush 90%) To me, that ain't change and it ain't hope.

These Fortune 500 companies only exist because we have a government to moderate and clean up after them. A lot of our taxes protect our economic investment in these companies who's primary mission is self-preservation, not community improvement. Companies like GM and Fannie Mae depend on government protection.

The president already has too much power, that's why we need to get a fresh face in there every 4-6 years. I would love to get rid of the re-election process and limit the president's powers a little more. Well the answer is simple Mccain is a conservative. Bush is a conservative. It only makes sense that they will agree most of the time, but what matters most is that Obama doesn't even have a voting record he has only been in the senate for 3 years and 2 of those years he has been running for president, so saying what has mccain done is kind of silly considering your candidates meteoric rise to power on fluff.
