  • Okay,I have a video and sound but I can`t record it...

    Why? o.o'

  • @Yuna5422 I advice You to reinstall capture card's drivers, capture software and DirectX 9.0C. Test also with these freeware capturing softwares here: easycapexpertti.phpbb3now(.)com/viewtopic(.)php?f=10&t=15

  • @EasycapExpertti Okay,look at this~~

    I have sound,hurray ^^

    But~~

    I have a problem with a picture~~

I PM you for more details~~

  • @Yuna5422 Ok.

  • so do i have to have splitter in order to have sound for my fakey lol

  • @NULLLIQUID It is a way to go around missing audio problem if USB audio doesn't work - hook audio wires with 2xFemaleRCA/1x 3.5mm audio plug splitter into Mic in or Line in connector of Your computer.

  • @EasycapExpertti so i do have to buy splitters..

  • @easycapexpertti hi! when I plug my easy cap in the computer, it isnt recognized as an audio source. When I try to see available audio things the only option is the computers microphone.

  • @SparloSturf I bet You have bought a fake EasyCap which have inside SMI chipset - it doesn't have any USB audio chip on that chipset. Here is my tutorial of the other reasons of missing audio: adf.ly/1310198/missing-audio

  • @EasycapExpertti It comes up as "SMI Grabber Device". Does that mean its fake?

  • @SparloSturf Yes - SMI chipset is not an original chipset of EasyCap DC60.

  • Don't even use those stupid RCA inputs. Use an RCA to 3.5 mm plug right to the MIC jac on your computer. Problem solved.

  • amazon.com/EasyCAP-Audio-Capture-Surveillance-Dongle/dp/B000Z4AQFU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1327019901&sr=8-2 is this fake?

  • @TheFlisko It is a fake - there can't be inside a genuine chipset with that price. I bet there is inside SMI chipset which doesn't have USB audio chip at all on that chipset.

  • thanks :)

  • Then how will it work on one of my laptops and not the other one?

  • @TheGooeystuff SMI chipset is uncompatible with most of the computer's and softwares - so one of Your laptop is compatible.

  • @EasycapExpertti Hey! In the options I only have the Realtek option, no USB, video is fine, what do you think is the problem? Thanks!

  • @LolPanteraNegra I bet You have bought a fake EasyCap which have inside SMI chipset - it doesn't have any USB audio chip on that chipset. Here is my tutorial of the other reasons of missing audio: adf.ly/1310198/missing-audio

  • @EasycapExpertti Dawww I did... it's a fake one, i fixed the audio tough.

    Thanks anyways!!

  • @EasycapExpertti so, windows is actually playing back the sound out of my xbox when I allow it to be played out of my speakers, but when I try to in ulead it claims that there is no input or the signal is unclear

  • @carnyzzle I bet You have to unplug Hdmi cable and reset Xbox display settings to use SD signal. If You don't know how to reset Xbox display settings, so go to my support forum: easycapexpertti(.)phpbb3now(.)com/viewtopic(.)php?f=6&t=2

  • @EasycapExpertti what happens if you only have composite cables?

    (Btw, it's a 6th gen Xbox, not the 360.)

  • @carnyzzle Composite cables are the most common with all console game players - so they are ok with Your Xbox.

  • @EasycapExpertti alright I'll see if it works, having no sound was driving me crazy, especially since the fact that I getting sound meant it wasn't fake.

  • mine is easycap 3.1c

  • @TheGooeystuff The latest genuine EasyCap DC60 version is still 2.1c and so I think Your EasyCap is not a genuine one.

  • oh btw it worked on my other laptop that doesn't have a mic.

  • My laptop with a mic doesn't work!! The only audio device I have is the mic!! What should I do?

  • @TheGooeystuff What is the name of the video driver? It can due to that You have bought a fake EasyCap which doesn't have USB audio chip at all on the chipset - for example SMI chipset. That chipset has planned to use computer's own audio card via USB, but sadly it is uncompatible system with most of the computer's and softwares.

  • THANKS WORKED FOR ME RIGHT AWAY!

  • What if you don’t have a USB selection for source? All I have is Realtek audio input.

  • @186kms It can due to that You have bought a fake EasyCap which doesn't have USB audio chip at all on the chipset (for example SMI chipset).

  • Freaking excellent. I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out why I couldn't get audio... THANKS!!!

  • I followed this video. I got it to work exactly as you said. Thx.

  • i cant find the audio option from the easy cap it only shows microphone (avnex virtual audio

  • @RapidRAMPAGE245

What is the name of the video driver? It can due to that You have bought a fake EasyCap which doesn't have USB audio chip at all on the chipset (for example SMI chipset).

  • @EasycapExpertti Hey mate, I bought a 'EasyCap' device, but it comes up as SMI in the device manager, does that mean its fake? I ask because I can't find that particular audio option... argh!

  • @lordcrumb07

SMI chipset is not a genuine EasyCap DC60 chipset. I know that on the SMI chipset is not at all USB audio chip - it is planned to use computer's own audio card via USB, but sadly it is uncompatible with many computers and softwares.

  • @EasycapExpertti When ever I plug the Ezcap into my computer it says the USB audio device can't connect, please help

  • @TheHaloman177 Check from the Device Manager's Sound, video and game controllers if You have installed USB audio driver properly and if there is a conflict against some other USB audio device as like webcam.

  • Mine says USB 2.0 grabber for the source. The audio name is completely different also.

  • @shotgun2197

The name of the genuine EasyCap DC60 v2.1c video driver should be either Syntek STK1160 (Philips SAA7113 chipset) or STK1160 Grabber (Syntek 8113 chipset) and the name of the genuine audio driver with these both chipsets should be USB Audio Interface. Si if Your drivers are different it means that Your product is a fake one and it has inside some other chipset than the genuine one.

  • @EasycapExpertti My video Driver is called STK1160 Grabber since I'm using Windows 7 64-bit, and I do see under it..the "USB Audio Interface", but i still dont get ANY SOUNDS at all ...preview or recording, nothing =\ idk how to fiix that

  • @xxlilxcloudxx

There can be a conflict against some other USB audio device as like webcam - if so You must unplug that another device, restart computer and reinstall drivers. Here is the latest drivers (package 1C) for it:

    easycapexpertti.phpbb3now(.)com/viewtopic(.)php?f=13&t=7

  • @EasycapExpertti but..i have a built-in webcam O_O

  • @xxlilxcloudxx

It can mix drivers if its microphone is on.

  • @EasycapExpertti i even disable the USB 2.0 Camera driver and disable the microphone, leaving USB Digital Audio ON BY itself. and It still doesn't work. I dont know why.

  • @xxlilxcloudxx

One other way is that You can buy 2xRCA/3.5mm audio plug splitter and hook audio cables into Your audio card's mic port and use Microphone as a source in Your capture software: easycapexpertti.mybisi.com/product/2xrca-female-35mm-stereo-plug-jack-splitter-adapter-gold-plated

  • and for some reason i dont see any audio input source...before it was "Master Volume", but now its greyed out

  • @shotgun2197

I checked that You have a genuine EasyCap DC60 v2.1c with Syntek 8113 chipset - that name of the video driver is changed by the capture software to "USB2.0 Grabber" and if You go to the Device Manager's Sound, video and game controllers, so You can see there the real names of the drivers STK1160 Grabber for video and USB Audio Interface for audio.

  • Good info about running the unlead videostudio on windows xp compatibility mode. Now the preview audio works. Thanks.

  • links down :(

  • @edgaraper1

I put there this straight link for the drivers to my support forum: easycapexpertti.phpbb3now(.)com/viewtopic(.)php?f=13&t=7

  • Nice but... dont detect the audio device... what i need to do

  • @MichHannerGates

There can be many reasons for missing audio... Go to my Support Forum and read topic "Missing Audio":

    easycapexpertti.phpbb3now(.)com/viewtopic(.)php?f=23&t=14

(remove ( )-marks from that link)

If You have bought a fake EasyCap where is inside SMI chipset, so I can tell You that there is not at all USB audio chip on that chipset.

  • @EasyCapExpertii When I plug the video cables to the EasyCap, the video only appears on the computer, how do I make it appear on the TV as well?

  • @Millenium501

You need to split video and audio wires with splitters. The most common is use the regular RCA splitters (3pcs 1xMale/2xFemale RCA) and split composite cable (yellow, red and white RCA heads) to both the capture card and to the TV. Put that male connectors of the splitters into connectors of the capture card and between the splitters and TV You need 1 pcs 3 head video/audio composite cable (both ends 3x RCA male - yellow, red and white).

  • I have the fake one, what do I do with avs?

  • @Millenium501

I advice You to send that fake product back to the seller and ask Your money back. Then welcome to my online store to buy the genuine EasyCap.

  • thank you work great

  • So simple! i wish i had known this video when i had my old Easycap 2.1.

But now I have an EasyCAP 3.1 and it works perfect!

  • Simple, huh? But, and if the USB Sound Device does not appear? Mine is a SMI Grabber Device. Thank you.

  • @noveleiro

Oh - You have bought the fake Easycap which has totally different (cheaper and worse) chipset than a genuine EasyCap DC60. I know that this SMI chipset doesn't have USB audio chip at all on that chipset. SMI chipset has planned to use computer's own audio card via USB, but it is uncompatible with many computers. Besides that Your Ulead Video Studio serial is probably an illegal copy.

  • @EasycapExpertti Ok, now i'm fucked. I need help.

  • @EasycapExpertti :( Awesome..so I bought a fake one. Do you know how can I capture the audio then?

  • @maltura

If You have that fake device with SMI chipset, so it is planned to use computer's own audio card via USB, but sadly is not compatible with most of the capturing softwares and computers.

  • @noveleiro i had the exact same problem as you and i used avs video recorder and it worked

  • @Fecal1102 Yes, i did that too! But there are some little stills yet. Maybe is my Computer memory.

  • @noveleiro Same here! - I have SMI, And the box to select audio, is blocked :(

  • @TheRealmOfBenadze i'm using AVS Software now, as they said here... it's perfect!

  • thank you so much ill put u in the credits of my video

  • thanks matey

  • sample start time is after the sample end time easy cap error PLEASE HELP

  • @vekaria12345

Look at the help section of the editing software how to change those times.

  • @easycapexpertti ive installed but it still only says microphone and my laptop for audio devices? :S

  • @Chiickennn

It can due to that You have bought a fake EasyCap which doesn't have USB audio chip at all on the chipset (for example SMI chipset).

  • @Chiickennn

I had exactly the same problem, only mic input available. I tried a bunch of software solutions and nothing worked. In the end I bought an RCA audio adapter (female connectors) with a male 3.5mm audio input jack and then plugged that into my computer's mic jack. The adapter cost me $10. The audio worked fine in ULead after that.

  • @PIngp0NGMW ah i dont want to spend any more money on it tbh its just adding up to quite alot for a cheapy capture card that i dont use all that much. the audio works fine on ulead cos you can use pci audio but it only works on ulead but ahh well. thanks.

  • @easycapexpertti thanks for replying but nope it says theres like 21% in use :S and ive downloaded the thing, what do i do? unzip then what? thakns again by the way

  • @Chiickennn

You seem to have power enough. Then it can due to wrong drivers. Just unzip that zip package and start installation from the Setup file.

  • mate i got an easycap dc60+ and it doesnt record audio but it doesnt show usb audio as a selection when choosing audio settings. however i can record the tv by selecting the mic on the easycap and using the option use pci audio in ulead movie studio but no other recording software has this and also windvr only records about 10 seconds then freezes but with my easycap dc60 it works fine, please help! :(

  • @Chiickennn

I bet freezing due to lack of power in Your comp, because DC60+ needs at least 1.7GHz P4 processor and DC60 needs 800MHz P3. Check that from Task Manager's (press ctrl+alt+del) Performance tab - CPU Usage must be under 50% during capturing and if it is more so try to stop all other programs or buy more RAM and/or better processor.

For USB audio: if You have Win7, so install driver package 2B from my forums:

    easycapexpertti.phpbb3now(.)com/viewtopic(.)php?f=13&t=7

  • I'm in the process of installing this software for my Easy Cap. I've seen on a lot of threads and videos that it gives really crackly audio? Is this the case or will doing what you showed in the video fix the problem?

  • @billybobjho

If You have bought the genuine EasyCap, so it is very unusual that the reason for crackly audio is in the device itself - many times the reason is a fake EasyCap which have usually a low quality audio chip on the chipset. There can many other reasons for distorted USB audio - here is my list and some solutions:

    easycapexpertti.phpbb3now(.)com/viewtopic(.)php?f=23&t=13

  • :( Mine doesnt say USB EMP. How can i get it

  • @AnDrEw7xD

You must purchase the best EasyCap model DC60+ v3.1B (Empia 2861 chipset). Your device is probably the basic model EasyCap DC60 v2.1c (Philips SAA7113 or Syntek 8113 chipset).

Here is that DC60+ v3.1B in my store:

    easycapexpertti.mybisi.com/product/165039/EASYCAP-DC60-v31B-VIDEO-CAPTURE-MACXPVista_886560.html

  • Thnx man you really made my day :)

  • hey easycapexpertti is it true that removing my easycaps cover could help with messed up audio because of the easycap overheating?

  • @sebby247

I don't think so. It is normal if it is a little bit warm, but if it is really hot, so there is probably some defective component which You probably can't fix.

Go to my Support Forums and read there my topic "Distorted Audio" from Technical Problems/Audio section:

    easycapexpertti.phpbb3now.com

  • @EasycapExpertti i checked ur forum and some youtube vids and one of the solutions from a video was to plug the red and white cables from the ps3 into a splitter (im using a wire splitter from radioshack) and then into the mic slot in my comp, well idk if you ever done or heard about doing this but when i select the mic to record audio the audio comes out exactly the same as if i were to plug it into my easycap. sorry for the log question i just dont know to do D:

  • @sebby247

Yes I have tried that - You can use 2xRCA/3.5mm audio plug splitter and hook audio wires to Your audio card's Line in or mic port and use audio card's drivers in Your capture software as a source. easycapexpertti.mybisi.com/product/2xrca-female-35mm-stereo-plug-jack-splitter-adapter-gold-plated

  • @EasycapExpertti thanks ill be sure to check that :). oh yeah and one last question, i use virtualdub because ulead is glitchy on my comp, but the thing is that the video is getting like 15 frames and the audio is like 3 seconds behind.

  • @sebby247

Check my VirtualDub tutorial from my Support Forum and put timing settings as like You see in the photo there:

    easycapexpertti.phpbb3now(.)com/viewtopic(.)php?f=22&t=10&sid=da6a2280f7008dd1d45e759e3358fd79

  • @EasycapExpertti ok well pluging the audio cables into my ps3 isnt working so should i just get windows 7 drivers from your website and jst record composite instead of s video? would that help the audio?

  • @sebby247

Updating drivers may help especially if You have the best EasyCap model DC60+ v3.1B.

S-video is only for a video - with audio You must always use composite wires.

  • @EasycapExpertti i have the dc60 because i was a little ignorant and didnt check if there was compatibility issues with win7 64 bit, also when i was getting the drivers and updating them it said the capture controller didnt install correctly :(

  • @sebby247

Try to reinstall drivers and before that make it sure that You have a genuine EasyCap DC60 with Philips SAA7113 chipset or with Syntek 8113 chipset. Here is how to check that: easycapexpertti.phpbb3now(.)com/viewtopic(.)php?f=25&t=26

  • @EasycapExpertti well on my com its called like usb 2.0 grabber is that ok? im just so confused :(

  • @sebby247

Check the real name from the Device Manager's Sound, video and game controllers.

  • @EasycapExpertti ok i got my audio and video all working :D also in ur virtualdub tut does it tell me how to deinterlace my video?

  • @sebby247

You can use Deinterlace filter in VirtualDub (Video/Filters) or if that doesn't produce good enough quality so there is an excellent and free piece of software called "MPEG Streamclip" which You can use for the captured video:

    squared5.com

That does a really good job of deinterlacing video. When you export the

movie, be sure to click the "deinterlace" checkbox in the dialog that comes

    up.

  • @EasycapExpertti thanks for the help when i woke this morning and tried my new easycap and it didnt work well i didnt think i would get this much help thank you so much :)

  • @sebby247

    You're welcome :)

  • hey, i put my easycap in my computer and i go to record but when i go to the audio it doesnt have my easycap on there. It just has microphone realtek high definition. help!

  • @kisielmatthe

It is possible that You have bought a fake EasyCap and there is inside some other chipset than a genuine one.

Or there is a conflict against some other USB Audio device as like webcam or TV dongle.

What is the name of the video driver now here in Ulead Editor?: Capture/Capture Video/Source

  • Hey i can hear sound while i recording but when im going to edit the clip there is no sound please reply

  • @MrCheezyZ

Install the latest FFDShow codecs if You are using Windows OS. Then make some test with several formats (WMV, Mpeg and Avi) and test also freewares as like AmCAP, VirtualDub, Windows Movie Maker 2.1, Deput and Golden Videos.

  • hey my audio is really messed up so i checked out the forums and it said one of the problems was that i may need different drivers so i went to the download for windows 64 bit (which i am using) on your website but theres one problem it said it doesnt support s video. Does this mean i have to record with the composite cables?

  • @QuantumGunner

That is the known problem that this 64bit driver for Philips SAA7113 chipset doesn't support s-video and so You must use the composite cables until someone makes better drivers for it. I will update drivers to my Support Forum (easycapexpertti.phpbb3now.com) right after I have found a newer version.

  • @EasycapExpertti well i have an old vista laptop laying around so would the newer drivers be compatible with s video on the vista laptop?

  • @QuantumGunner

If it is 32bit Vista, so then those normal 32bit drivers (STK1160) should work and also s-video is supported.

  • @EasycapExpertti ok ill have to check on that... thanks for the help dude :)

  • hey sorry if im being a disturbance but when i record in amcap like 10 seconds in the video it just freezes and i get an error message also i have some really crackly staticy audio problems that i need help with. Thanks in advance.

  • @CanadianPancakez

The reason can be that Your processor works too hard. Check that from Task Manager's (press ctrl+alt+del)

Performance tab - CPU Usage must be under 50% during capturing and if it is more so try to stop all other

programs or buy more RAM and/or better processor and/or better grapfic card and/or faster hard drive.

Go to my Support Forums and read there my topic "Distorted Audio" from Technical Problems/Audio section:

    easycapexpertti.phpbb3now.com

  • emm now i sorta have a problem idk if you could help me but in amcap the audio is delayed and in virtualdub the videos are laggy and when i try to render the frames it goes like super fast

  • @CanadianPancakez

Install FFDShow codecs into Your Windows and put timing settings in VirtualDub as like in this photo:

    lh3.googleusercontent(.)com/_Q9ub1iOWk9Q/TUhtuuxwTII/AAAAAAAAA4o/dzXzgY83gow/VirtualDubTiming.jpg

  • hey i use s video and when i try to select a different audio device it sets all my settings back to default and i cant change them unless i exit ulead an reopen it pleas help i really want to use my easycap.

  • @CanadianPancakez i also dont use splitters

  • @CanadianPancakez

Try to reinstall Ulead Video Studio and test capturing also with these freewares: AmCAP, VirtualDub, Windows Movie Maker 2.1, Deput and Golden Videos.

  • @EasycapExpertti thank you so much.

  • FUCK i only have 1 fucking option MICROPHONE i have installed Easy fucking Cap and it says "SMI Grabber device" but i can't find it in the devices section can't select as an audio device FUCK FUCK SHIT

  • @GibbsGibberstein

It due to that You have bought a fake product - SMI chipset is not a genuine EasyCap chipset and it doesn't have any USB audio chip at all on that chipset. It is planned to use computer's own audio card via USB, but sadly it doesn't work in many computers. The genuine EasyCap DC60 v2.1c has inside Philips SAA7113 chipset and the genuine EasyCap DC60+ v3.1B has inside Empia 2861 chipset.

  • @EasycapExpertti wait my chords weren't plug in properly lol

  • hey just tested it it works but the audio makes ike a buzzing sound ??

  • @mikeurgreg

Go to my Support Forums and read there my topic "Distorted Audio" from Technical Problems/Audio section:

    easycapexpertti.phpbb3now.com

  • my source says easycap gabster av 350 capture.. soo is that bad?

  • @mikeurgreg

It is totally wrong driver for EasyCap - it is some Terratec's driver...

Delete it manually from the Device Manager and install driver's again - You can find the latest drivers from my Support Forum (You can find drivers from Technical problems/Drivers):

    easycapexpertti.phpbb3now.com

  • @EasycapExpertti ok its now called easycap video adapter.. is that good?

  • @mikeurgreg

Yes - You seem to have older version of EasyCap DC60+ (v3.1A), but it has inside the same Empia 2861 chipset.

  • @EasycapExpertti so will it work

  • @mikeurgreg

I bet it works, but You will see when You try.

  • @EasycapExpertti thanks man oh btw it now says usb 2861 so will that work? lol sorry about asking alot of questions

  • @mikeurgreg

USB 2861 Device is the right driver for Your device and if it not damaged, so it must work - You'll see when You try.

Read quick installation help for Windows from my support forum (remove ()-marks):

    easycapexpertti.phpbb3now(.)com/viewtopic(.)php?f=22&t=64

  • @EasycapExpertti oh btw will this audio work its called usb emp audio deviece

  • @mikeurgreg

That is the right audio driver for Your device. Read my Quick installation help from my support forum how to run Ulead in WinXP mode (if You have Windows Vista or 7) if You want that Preview audio setting to work.

  • @EasycapExpertti hey my audio deviece is called USB EMP AUDIO DEVICE so once again is that good?

  • @mikeurgreg

That is the right audio driver for Your device.

  • @EasycapExpertti man thank you so much for your help im telling all my friends to sub you!

  • I tried doing that already and I still dont get any sound!

  • @zeldametroidpkmn

If You have Vista or Win7, so there is a bug in Ulead programming and that setting "Preview Audio" doesn't stay in memory - You can get it to work if You run Ulead in WinXP mode.

Go to my Support Forum and read my topic "Missing Audio":

    easycapexpertti.phpbb3now(.)com/viewtopic(.)php?f=23&t=14

(remove ( )-marks from that link)

  • @zeldametroidpkmn is your easycap real? cause theres fakes out there and those ones are the ones that record no sound...

  • @BitterBurst

    Welcome to my Online Store:

    easycapexpertti.mybisi.com/product/2xrca-female-35mm-stereo-plug-jack-splitter-adapter-gold-plated

  • @BitterBurst

I don't think so that Your problem due to drivers... Read carefully that my topic "Distorted Audio" and in the last row there is the last trick that You can try - You can purchase 2xRCA Female/3.5mm audio jack splitter and hook audio wires into Line in or Mic in port of Your computer's audio card and use that port as a source in Your capturing software.

If You want Empia drivers, so then You must buy the best Easycap model DC60+ v3.1B whre is inside Empia 2861 chipset.

  • @BitterBurst

You must delete those drivers manually from the Device Manager's Sound, video and game contollers if driver software can't do it. Then unplug EasyCap and restart computer and after that reinstall drivers and after that plug EasyCap into USB port again.

  • @BitterBurst

I haven't that audio driver separately so You must install that whole 64bit driver package for DC60.

  • @BitterBurst

Go to my Support Forum and there Technical Problems/Drivers. There is the latest drivers for both DC60 and DC60+ devices: easycapexpertti.phpbb3now.com

  • @BitterBurst

Go to my Support Forums and read there my topic "Distorted Audio" from Technical Problems section:

    easycapexpertti.phpbb3now.com

  • I have an EzCap116, I use ArcSoft Showbiz to capture, and I tried other programs and I am still getting no audio from it.

I tried uninstalling and re-installing drivers, and changing the drivers from USB audio device to USB EMP audio device and there is still no audio. Tried it with and without my sound card and Windows does recognise the capture card. The thing is it used to work for me!

  • @RedHaxorz

USB EMP Audio Device is the right one for Your device and if it doesn't work so the reason can be that there is a conflict against some other USB device as like webcam or audio chip is dead or weldings on the chipset are broken.

You can buy 2xRCA/3.5mm audio plug splitter and hook audio wires to Your audio card's Line in or mic port and use these ports as a audio source in Your capture software.

  • @EasycapExpertti

It doesn't work regardless of my webcam and regardless of my sound card (onboard or Asus Xonar DG)

When I try it with the only splitter I have and plug one of the two sound cables in it still doesn't work.

  • @RedHaxorz

Did You tried both mic in and line in ports? Line in is that blue one.

  • @EasycapExpertti

Here's how it goes for me:

I have a PS3, so I use the composite cables, plug yellow into yellow, red into red, and white into white (since I don't have enough splitters... yet). I plug the EzCap116 into my computer using USB 2.0. No sound. If you're talking about a splitter like this:

    /watch?v=BsW3YouAKNY

then that's not going to fit the composite red and white sound cables I think.

I thought you were talking about the composite splitters :|

  • @RedHaxorz

Yes - that is the right kind of splitter and if You have one, so hook Your red and white PS3 audio cable's red and white RCA connectors into splitter's red and white RCA connectors and hook that audio jack head into Mic in or Line in port of Your audio card. Then go to enable also that same port in use in Your capturing software.

  • @EasycapExpertti

OK that seems logical, I will just need to get that kind of splitter.

There is still no excuse for why it doesn't work now, since it used to but I will try to get this to work with that advice. Thank you :)

  • @EasycapExpertti

I found the exact kind of splitter I need (from 3.5mm stereo jack to female RCA) on Amazon for only £0.90! thank you for all the help

  • Please help!!!!

There is no sound..... I have a Easycap DC60. It records sound from the microphone instead of the USB Device. And in the Ulead Source it says SMI Grabber Device instead of Syntek..... Please provide me with a audio fix or something that will help me.... plzzzzzz....... Msg me if you need more details....

  • @CompsTutorials

You have bought a fake EasyCap. SMI chipset is not an original EasyCap chipset and it doesn't have USB audio chip at all - so it is planned to use computer's own audio card via USB connector, but sadly it is not compatible with most of the capturing software.

  • @EasycapExpertti Ok so there no solution..... I mean cant you give me a appropriate driver.... Bcuz i have the CD and the driver works with Ulead.... But there is only one problem which is the audio... It takes the microphone instead of the USB Audio.....

Please tell me a solution other than just saying its fake....

    Thanks You

  • @CompsTutorials

As I told You so there is not any kind of USB audio chip on that ultra cheap chipset - so You must use computer's own audio card as a source with this fake EasyCap.

  • i have a question..i wanna record in svideo quality but everytime i click to record with s video it keeps switching back to composite.!!! help

  • @usa1gamer1 Reinstall drivers and capturing software. Test capturing also with freewares: AmCAP, VirtualDub, Deput, Windows Movie Maker 2.1, Golden Videos and CaptureFlux.

  • Try to update drivers from my Support Forum - install driver package 2B if You have Win7 (You can find drivers from Technical problems/Drivers):
