  • i love u andy

  • I want to see whole video :( .

  • He always makes that metronome joke. haha

  • Love the lick at :40 (And everywhere else).. LOl I see Andy all the time cause I am a Texas Boy and live near Dallas. He isn't here as much as he used to be cause he tours with his band and Olivia and other stuff, btu I have had privledge if seeing him LIVE 20+ times.

  • The title of the video in itself is a great advice. Too many fail to write good music because they build meaningless shred around the tiny ideas that made them write the song in the first place.

  • I'm replacing my neck and middle pickup in my strat as I've got noiseless pickups and they don't really do it for me. They are nice but not great. If I put a neck cruiser in my strat, would I be making a good move to still get a good strat clean tone but still handle the saturated lead lines? cheers, take care

  • @LiamTrevor

It depends on how close you need to get to a "true" Strat sound. A Cruiser can handle saturation, but an Area 67 or 61 can also do so, if a vintage Strat sound is what you have in mind.

  • I would like to see the whole Electric Gypsy video.

  • Just bought my AT-1/Area 61/PAF PRO! Thanks Larry for the help!

  • what amps does he use? somebody help me out here =D

  • @flamen89 He uses a Mesa Boogie Lonestar and a Mesa Boogie Stiletto. Both amazing sounding amps.

  • full control!!!

  • God, Andy's tone is always a pleasure to listen to!

  • hey larry for my neck pickup should i get an ej custom neck or something else and split the coil via coil tap pots to achieve the sound of a cruiser?

  • @jacktheguitarman

Sorry, but it won't do exactly what you want. An EJ is much brighter and quieter in split mode than a Cruiser. You should do better with a 36th Anniversary PAF.

  • @LarryDiMarzio cool which paf do i order that will let me coil tap? the dp103?

  • @jacktheguitarman

The DP103 comes standard with 4-conductor cable (the same as all of our other humbuckers). This is the version you need for coil-tapping. Do not get the single-conductor version.

  • Or would the Fast Track 1 be a better choice. I love the fact these Rail pickups are totally hum free!

  • @MrFenderkev

It's a matter of taste. I don't think one is better than the other. The FT1 is a little louder and thicker-sounding than the Cruiser.

  • @MrFenderkev I have a chopper in the bridge as well, and it mixes very nicely with a cruiser bridge in the neck and a fast track 1 in the middle position. In fact a fast track in the middle position is incredible for cleans. ~ Sean

  • I'm interested in the Cruiser Bridge, but I need a bridge pickup that will balance with my 2 Fender Alnico V's in the mid and neck. At the minute I have a Chopper at the bridge, but although its a great sounding pickup, its way over twice the output of the 2 single coils. Any ideas? Thanks!

  • @MrFenderkev

If you want the bridge pickup to be humcancelling you will probably get better results with an Area 61 or Heavy Blues 2.

  • Hi Larry, do you think a floyd rose strat-type guitar with a at-1(bridge)/area 61/paf pro(neck) would sound good most for hard-rock, classic rock, blues? Thanks!

  • @limataffo

Yes, although it's impossible to be certain in advance if any set of pickups will do exactly what you have in mind.

  • Andy timmons' voice sounds like Steve Morse's voice

  • Anyone know what the mics are that he has on his cab in this video? thanks.

  • Fantastic tone!

  • Sir Larry! I'm really interested with the Cruiser. But can it give me that bluesy and glassy tone?

  • @12kirkhinrich12

Andy has a lot of recorded examples of these pickups on his CDs. I guess it depends on your definition of "bluesy and glassy", but the sounds he gets seem to fit the description.

  • I've got six guitars, five of them equipped whit DiMarzios. In 8 years I didn't find any better pickups for me. I've got two Dactivators, a CrunchLab and a Liquifire, a Chopper-Class '54 and Virtual '77 combination, but I think that the Timmons's set is composed by the best sounding pickups of DiMarzio.

  • hey larry would an at1 work well in an sg? or does it need a strat type guitar to sound like andy

  • @jacktheguitarman

It should work very well in an SG, but I can't promise you'll sound like Andy.

  • @jacktheguitarman The common misconception that having the exact same gear as your favorite player will make you sound like them is getting old..

The pickup will sound great in an SG, i'm sure... but even if you played through his rig, you'd still sound like you.

  • @ImAggro having the exact same gear as someone gives you the exact same raw tone.

  • Hi Larry,

I just love your pick-ups..and I just love your site too! :D

I was thinking of dropping in my RG 2550 (Basswood Body) these pick-ups:

Fast Track 1 (neck) - Cruiser Bridge (middle) - Mo' Joe (bridge).

You think that the Fast Track would balance well with the Mo' Joe, especially with distortion or with a lead sound?

I'm afraid it would sound "Rock" in the bridge, and too "Bluesy" in the neck, you know what I mean?

    Please let me know. ;)

  • @ilDePalma

The balance shouldn't be a problem, but I don't really know what type of sound you want in the neck position. A Fast Track 1 isn't particularly bluesy, so it's just a question of what you have in mind for the overall sound.

  • Would it be a good idea to use an Area 58 as middle pickup, and a Cruiser (Bridge) as the neck pickup on my Fender Stratocaster? Thanks for all replies.

  • @Gothxha

It might be OK, depending on the sound you have in mind. There's no technical reason it won't work.

  • I just love when guitarists enjoy their own music and play it with so much passion and soul, showing that they really love the song, the guitar they're playin'.:D

  • Hi Larry I really want the dimarzio crusier pickup but my guitar has have two humbuckers, HH type. I want to know which dimarzio humbucker is the equivalent to the crusier. Thanks and I hope you answer

  • @garybigtube

There is no exact equivalent, but an EJ Custom neck model is pretty similar to a Cruiser.

  • God!!!

  • 죽인다,,

  • Hello there Larry, I was wondering what gauge of strings Andy uses, he's ben my favourite guitar player eversince I first heard him and now I think i'm experienced enough to play some of his songs. Does he use 11's or 10's also what make?

  • @LarryDiMarzio Larry the Cruiser Pickups Andy uses are bridge, right?

  • Hello Larry I have a question about some pickups not quite in topic here but I remember getting a fast reply last time I had an inquiry. If I had the Air Classic bridge model in the Bridge and a Bluesbucker in the neck the output shouldn't be to different would it? I assume the Bluesbucker might be a touch louder in the neck correct?

  • @heath832

You're probably correct (depending on the guitar), but you should be able to get a good balance if they're height- adjustable.

  • @LarryDiMarzio Thanks I believe I will try the Air zone in the bridge the guitar is a Music man Silhouette. Love the new site by the way. Thank for making pickups that have depth and power. Even if they are a model with lots of treble you find a way to keep it full bodied.

  • @heath832 Hi, Thanks for your kind comment and glad you like the new site.

    All the best,

    Larry

  • every note does counts... it makes me feel alive!

  • his tone is really similar to EJ's sometimes.

  • Hi Larry

I really love the Cruiser(Bridge) pickup but i'm not sure if it fits well on neck position on a mahogany guitar (mahogany neck and pau ferro fingerboard). Do you think that balance well with the tone zone that i have on the bridge?

    Regards from Italy.

  • @juand1390

It should work OK, depending (of course) on the sound you have in mind.

  • @LarryDiMarzio Thanks Larry!

  • hey larry,

i want to get some kind of sound-mix between joe satriani, andy timmons and greg howe...which pickups could i use except the signature ones?

    greets

  • @satch077

It isn't possible to answer this question without knowing what your gear is. Please email tech@dimarzio.com with a description of your guitar and amp.

  • SOOOOOOOO glad i saw this, i want that neck pickup!! omg

  • Hi Larry, I have a Suhr S4 and was wondering what your thoughts are regarding the Cruiser in the neck position using different woods ?

My S4 is a Basswood Body with Flame Maple Top with Maple Neck normally through a Cornford.

    Many Thanks, Dave.

  • So He used Cruiser DP187 bridge on Neck??? Is that Right??? Thanks

  • Hey, Larry!

I have a Dimarzio Air Norton, The Cruiser (neck) and Steve's Special on my Ibanez RG guitar (basswood) in a H-S-H configuration. Also, I have been thinking about installing a push-pull pot to have a S-S-S configuration. My question is: does the Air Norton and Steve's Special would work fine in single mode to get a Strat sound?

I'm intrested to have this for a more vintage or funky sound but I'm not to sure if it will work or I'll get to much noise. What do you think?

  • larry .. what's the diference between the virtual vintage blues and the cruiser

  • @MrNebelful

The high strings are a little brighter with the Cruiser, and the low strings a little warmer.

  • @LarryDiMarzio Larry, what pickup would be under the category of single coil that has fat and warm highs but still has clear lows?

  • @DomFuriani

The True Velvet bridge model fits this description.

  • @LarryDiMarzio THanks Larry

  • what's the name of the first song?

  • God bless this boy..

he has brought tasteful soulful playing back to the forefront of the guitar genre,

all the mindless shredding and macho sweeping was getting old...

Andy is a true Jimi Hendrix Disciple in that his soul is in his Guitar playing...

A very special player, Andy is a good hearted guy and it shows in his playing..

  • @rich655

Sorry, but it wouldn't perform the same. If you need a humcancelling pickup with 6 magnets, it's going to be one of the models you're familiar with.

  • Anyone got any suggestions for aggressive, tight pickups with lots of clarity?

  • @Mojothestrange

The D Activator bridge model, Evolution bridge model and the Steve Morse bridge model all fit this description.

  • @LarryDiMarzio Hey Larry

Just how close is the fast track 1 with the cruiser bridge model. My intentions are to put this (fast track 1 or cruiser bridge) in the neck position with a red velvet middle and Chopper in the bridge. I feel the fast track would match out put better but I don't think it would be a far stretch with the cruiser. Any suggestions?

  • @heath832

Your observations are correct. The Fast Track 1 is a little louder than the Cruiser, but you should be able to get a good balance by using either of them with a Chopper in the bridge. The main difference is tone. The Cruiser has more of a scooped-mid sound than the Fast Track 1.

  • @LarryDiMarzio Thanks Larry. And thanks for making the best pickups out there every guitar I own has Dimarzio in them. I was also thinking Air norton (single) in the bridge just recently any thoughts on that vs the chopper I like to do a bit of everything from classical to heavy metal classic rock and progressive.

  • @heath832

EIther one might be OK. The Air Norton is a little louder and warmer. It shouldn't have any problem balancing with the pickups you're considering for the neck & middle positions.

  • Variax 700 has a mahogany body with a maple top, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. I added a Tremol-No which gives the guitar more sustain

  • Just installed a DP187 Cruiser in the neck and an AT-1 in the bridge of a modified Line 6 Variax 700 which sounds great. Placed a normal single coil in the middle BTW.

  • Most of his tone comes from.....his hands. Surprising to people that don't know about hand tone. Great players make any guitar, any amp sing. Sucky players sound sucky playing any guitar through any amp.

  • Ok, If I were to buy a guitar and install Andy's DiMarzio pickups to get close to Andy's tone and not spend 2,600$, what guitar anyone recommend??

  • Ok, If I were to buy a guitar and install Andy's DiMarzio pickups to get close to Andy's tone and not spend 2,600$, what guitar anyone recommend??

  • @Plocky241 Fender USA SSH strat :) then change pickups

  • oh what a sound it could be with real old strat)

  • Hi Larry

I Have an Ibanez RG 2570E and i was thinking to install an Evolution set on it. Do you think it would go with a Basswood body?

    Regards from Trento, Italy

  • @juand1390

Evos work perfectly well with basswood bodies, but how well you like them will depend on the specific sound you are looking for.

  • @LarryDiMarzio Thank you Larry!

  • In which songs does Andy use the middle cruiser pickup? By itself or combined with either bridge or neck? I've heard a lot of demos but none really show the middle pickup sound...

  • That IS a wonderful sounding pickup!! The Cruiser has a fantastic "Stratty" sound to it!

Call me a traditionalist....but I can't get past the DOUBLE BLADE look of the pickup.

It would screw up the tradiional 'look' of my Strat. I like the 'old fashioned' look of pole pieces.

That's why I LOVE the AREA series of pickups! All the "Stratty-ness" with NO noise and.....the pole piece look!

We guitarists tend to be picky and petty............

    Oh well............

  • @rich655 the pickey and petty part is very true hahaha. im incredibly pickey about whats going into my guitar. lol it seems to piss off my friends quite a bit.

sorry i know you posted this months ago but i felt it needed a reply

  • seriously considering the cruiser. actually i'm seriously considering every gear andy uses, such a monster of a tone!

  • Hi Larry

I have a G&L ASAT Special. A wonderful guitar in many ways, but I dont use the bridge pickup at all. On the other hand I absolutely love the sound of your AT1 pickup.

Do you think it would go with the neck G&L Magnetic Field Design high output single coil pickup and would I be able to install it without carving in the wood of the guitar?

    Kind regards Esben Madsen, Denmark

  • @Esbenmad

I think it would work with the single-coil G&L pickup, but the AT-1 is a full -size humbucker, so I assume there would have to be woodwork to install it.

  • @LarryDiMarzio Hi Larry

Thankyou for your answer! Great! I will surely consider making the pickup-change.

    Best regards Esben

  • Your guitar sound's so clean........

  • does anyone know what kind of pick ups hes useing in the neck and middle position

  • @crazycary17

A Cruiser bridge model (DP187) is in both positions.

  • @LarryDiMarzio

does Andy use his at-1 in full humbucker mode, or split-coil mode, because I love this pickup's clean sound, I would also like to know if this pickup can do metal distortion well in full humbucker mode.

I am looking for a rich and clean split-coil like this, but with a metal distortion sound in full humbucker mode that matches tonally and volume-wise with the evolution neck model, it also needs to be able to be play single notes well under distortion, my guitar is basswood

  • @OmniVirus2

Andy's guitar isn't wired to split any of the pickups. How well it (or any other model) will do with metal will depend a lot on the type of amp you play. Volume-wise, it should be OK with an Evo neck model.

  • @LarryDiMarzio

I think I've decided on a crunch lab bridge, now I'm just curious If there is anything similar to the evolution neck model tonally that is slightly hotter than the liquifire neck

  • How would the cruiser pair with a Super Distortion?

  • @gamergeek3000

A Cruiser isn't loud enough to balance well with a Super, but it will still work if your style doesn't require all of the pickups to have equal volume.

  • @LarryDiMarzio well, is there a clean pickup that will balance well? I have a chopper and it is not near clear enough for me.

  • @gamergeek3000

You might try a Fast Track 1.

  • Oh sweet lord that tone is breathtaking..

  • I saw Andy Timmons at the Wildwest guitar clinic this past summer. He has everything: Tone, feeling, technicality... he's absolutely amazing. I also happen to love Dimarzio pickups and am a proud user myself. I'll never take them out of my guitar that's for sure!

  • @Absstratcat Hi, Thanks for the support and your kind comment.

    All the best,

    Larry DiMarzio

  • @LarryDiMarzio

Dear Larry, I bought and installed the Mo' Joe!

I was wondering if you knew how the Breed Neck (Steve Vai's pickup) would balance with Joe's Mo' Joe?

  • @ShadowLancer128 They're almost identical in output, which usually means you will have to adjust the neck pickup (the Breed) further from the strings to get a good balance. I don't see any issues other than that.

  • @LarryDiMarzio Thanks again!

I appreciate your work more than you know!

  • they sound amazing!

  • Hey Larry

i want to put a AT-1 in the bridge position of my Les Paul style stagg guitar and i dont know withone i should put in the neck position any ideas?

    thanks for your help

  • @wynluxmusic

There are many possible choices. Please email us at tech@dimarzio.com with a description of the type of sound you're looking for and the what type of amp you play. This information should allow us to recommend the best pickup.

  • Hey larry I want to put a AT- 1 in the bridge positon of my Les Paul style stagg guitar and i dont know withone i should put in the neck possion any ideas?

    thanks for your help

    Wyn

  • Whats the first song he plays??

  • @squierkid Electric Gypsy

  • whats the first song he plays??? Love It

  • @squierkid Its called Electric Gypsy. Its a beautiful song.

  • more of andy timmons! he's amazing!

  • Hey Mr Dimarzio,

Would you be able to enlighten me as to what Cruser Andy uses in the neck ie. is it like he uses the bridge model in the neck position? Or what?

    Thanks,

    Ross

  • @bucket303

He uses the bridge model in the neck & middle positions.

  • I bought the Cruiser bridge (neck position), Fast Track 1 (middle position), and Chopper for the bridge of my 08 Strat. I can say this was the best ever for this guitar, thank you so much Larry Dimarzio, your company is one of the best I've ever purchased from. :)

  • @ekul785

It really isn't possible. The 2 blades are radiussed above the bobbins, and it wouldn't be practical for a standard cover to sit on top of them.

  • More soul than any other player out there, only Gary Moore comes close :D Cant wait to get my Andy Timmons pickups in my guitar!!! :D

  • @bluepaisley83 Thomas Blug is also another great player that sounds like Andy Timmons.

  • I have a DiMarzio PAF from the 70's (possibly early 80s, things get hazy...) in my 1977 Ibanez Artist neck position. It has been replaced too many times to count, and has always been re-installed again.

    Perfect PUP Larry.

  • Another fact that really amazes me is the fact that the legendary Mr. Dimarzio actually finds time to answer all the questions people make. How many companys do that?? really amazing!

  • What a soulful player!!! Im definitely putting those pickups in my Chapman ML1!!! :D

  • damn that cruiser sounds incredibly glassy for a humbucker and glassy in a good way clear, cuts through but not too much twang. if i closed my eyes and listen i could have sworn that was a standard single coil.

  • Why there is no "USB" style system for pickups so that changing them would just be a case of unplugging one and slotting in another?

I ask this as a musician who knows jack about guitar maintenance and repair and who does not have a guitar tech at my beck and call.

Surely it would improve sales if a dummy like me could easily change pickups without the loss of use of my guitar while some guy does the soldering etc.

I fully appreciate there may be technical reasons I am unaware of :)

  • Just seeing responses from the company to the average person sold me for life. Oh yeah, they are also used by basically every guitar icon in the planet...

  • @mattjazz3 Thank you very much. All the best,

    Larry DiMarzio

  • are those Dimarzio DP187s in the neck and middle? I read somewhere that Andy uses the bridge version of the Cruiser in neck&mid position

  • Larry! .. I have a question I was wondering, whaiot would happen if I install a Cruiser pup in Striani's new guitar model, js2400. To replace de pro track that comes in the neck. ??

  • @MrNebelful

The Cruiser is brighter than the Pro Track, and not quite as loud.

  • @LarryDiMarzio

right, , but would it be a good compliment with the mo joe pickup???,, I really like the cruiser's tone, exactly because it is much more brighter and it's fat as well , it's a great pickup Larry, and kudos for taing the time to answer people questions, That's the best you can ask a company, a little concern about the client puts a smile in my face.

  • @MrNebelful

It will work perfectly well with a Mo' Joe, if the sound of the Cruiser is what you are looking for.

  • Hey larry!

i was wondering if the effect Andy used at the 2:58 was a distortion or an overdrive, can you answer my question?? because it sounded very smooth and i ould like to buy that effect .

    Thanks for the video!

  • From 3:00 to 3:30, completely awesome solo!

  • What would be a pickup close to the cruiser in a humbucker size?

  • Hey Larry!

    I have a Ibanez RG,

    basswood body,

and I was wondering how an AT1 sound in that?

and what would you suggest in the neck?

  • @josephvincentguitar

It sounds good in basswood - a little warmer than it does in alder. A PAF or PAF Joe goes very well in the neck. Both positions should be F-spaced.

  • @LarryDiMarzio

I'm going to be adding an Ibanez USA Made by Dimarzio pickup in the neck.

    Hopefully it works.

    Thanks Larry!

  • Hi Larry! I have a DiMarzio Super 3 on my 20 year old Strat HM. I was wondering, what are the differences between the super 3 and the AT-1? I believe the first has a higher output actually and it might sound grittier?

  • @Xion100z Not sure I would describe it as grittier, but the Super 3 has more output and a darker sound.

  • Just put in an AT-1 and two DP187 Cruiser in my Yamaha Pacifica and it sounds just great! Larry rules!!!

    Bridge-Neck combined also sounds cool.

  • i was wondering, what would the cruiser sound like if i connect the pickup in out of phase parallel?

  • @emperorof420

The sound would be very thin and bright, and the output level would be very low.

  • Hi larry! I just want to know what are the pots value that you will recommend for cruisers? Is Andy using 500k or 250k? Thanks for all the great PU's you've done for us!

  • @emgzwset

Andy's guitars have 500K controls all around, which is what I suggest trying first. If the highs sound too edgy, 250K controls should smooth them out.

  • any difference in sound of the Pickups between rosewood or maple fretboard?

  • @sledge76

If you were to swap necks in the same guitar, the maple board would usually be brighter. However, no 2 guitars are identical, so it's very possible that one guitar with a rosewood board could be brighter than a different guitar with maple.

  • larry, you rock on so many levels! it's not "just" your great pickups that rule my tiny rockworld; you take the best artist-pics, make the best artist-videos and are a great and humble person to boot.

    thanks again.

  • @peterstrohm Hi,

Thanks for your kind words and noticing my projects.

    All the best,

    Larry DiMarzio

  • Do I need a F-Spaced AT-1 for vintage Tremolo style guitars?

  • @sledge76

    Yes.

  • bridge p.u. sounds a bit like a norton

  • @stoofbuis

A bit, but it's got a lot more mid and bass response.

  • Hey Larry, I love DiMarzio Pickups.

Andy´s sound is so amazing. I have a japanese Greco Strat from the eighties where I just put in some Lindy Fralin Vintage Hot pickups. Good sound but still hum and a bit too bright. Do you think I could come closer to an Andy Timmons sound with a Cruiser in the Neck? What other pickups would you suggest in SC format for middle and bridge position?

    Thanks,

    Andy

  • @sledge76

Andy actually a Cruiser bridge model in the neck and middle, which should work well in your guitar. If you have a Strat-size pickup in the bridge position, you could try a Tone Zone S. It's not the same as Andy's bridge pickup, but there are some strong similarities.

  • @LarryDiMarzio

thanks for your fast response. I am actually thinking about buying a Yamaha Pacifica where I could change the pickups. It has HSS. So Andy uses Cruiser DP187 in Neck and Middle Position?

  • @sledge76

    Yes.

  • i saw andy last night at a jeff beck concert in dallas

  • Andy's a beast!!!!

  • hello mr dimarzio... i am considering a pickup upgrade for my basswood(!) ibanez rg. however, all i know is that it's gotta be dimarzios!!! i am into hair metal: danger danger, steel panther, bon jovi, whitesnake, etc. but i also play shred music: vinnie moore, paul gilbert. could you please suggest which pickups combination (HSH) would be most suitable for my guitar and music taste? i hope i don't bother you too much. thanks!

  • Hi Larry, I just bought a Fender Custom Shop Strat (Neck=Modern Classic Single Coil, Bridge=Hot Classic Single Coil), it sounds awesome with clean tones, but I hate the hum always and the bridge pickup sounds thin when I use distortion. What neck pickup (single spaced) would you recommend to keep the clean strat tone but add sustain for solos? And what bridge pickup (single spaced) that would add some balls while keeping the strat character? Also eliminate the hum in both.

  • An Area 61 in the neck and a Heavy Blues 2 in the bridge might be good, but I think you may also need a humcancelling pickup like an Area 67 in the middle for all 5 positions to be quiet.

  • I Larry, thanks for your response. I have anothre question? Can I split the coils of Area 61 and Heavy Blues 2 with 2 push-pull pots kinda to go to the classic sound if I wanted to? Also, I was considering a Cruise for the neck and a Chopper for the Bridge, but I'm worried that they'll take away the Strat Character, specially the Chopper, what do you think?

  • They can be split, but the sound isn't very different in split mode. The Area 61, Area 58 and Area 67 were all designed to produce variations of classic Strat sounds without needing to be split. I think you should try the Area 61 and HB2 as you originally asked about. They may do what you have in mind.

  • Larry, thanks again for your response. I have decided to get for sure one HB2 for the Bridge, and the Area 67 for the middle. For the neck I'm thinking in getting the Area 61 as you suggested, but looking in your website I was also attracted to the "Virtual Vintage 54 Pro" . What are the differences? I'm asking cause I have a Mark V Mesa boogie and maybe that would help on the Drive channel, but I'm afraid it will fatten a whole lot the clean channel. What do you think?

  • Hi, Mr DiMarzio. Just purchased a Ibanez S5470, got enough Strats, and was wondering if you have a suggestion on a solid classic rock/hard rock pickup combo. Match with a high gain amp(all tube)/

  • Hi Larry!

Do you think an AT-1 would sound good in bridge position on a les paul?

  • Yes, depending on the sound you're looking for.

  • Hi Larry...can you please do a similar feature on Brett Garsed...pleeeease!! He's a legend and loyal DiMarzio crusader.

  • He's a great player, but we don't see him in the US very often these days, and that's where we do all of our video interviews.

  • Hey Larry, will you be making the Cruiser Neck for Telecaster?A Cruiser T?Just a thought. Thanks

  • Not in the immediate future, although we're aware it would be cool to have neck Tele-size Fast Track models.

  • Hey Larry, just a little question, any chance of seeing one of these features done with Adrian Smith from Iron Maiden? I think he's been a very long-time user of DiMarzio pickups and he's the reason I started playing guitar so seeing him getting some well-earned recognition would be nice! :
