Excellent markings for one so young. He'll be a beautiful snake when he grows up.

It's a western diamond back, not at 'texas diamond back". also, it is nowhere near being one of the most deadly snakes in the world... probably not even top 100

As many rattlesnakes as they get in Sweetwater ever year Its suprising there are any rattlesnakes in Texas at all.
