  • Manetric with Flamethrower o.O

  • that trainer really knows how to battle with venusaur

  • Why Energy Ball for Victreebell and not Seedbomb? (More ATK than SP.ATK)

  • @PKMNBRch So that I can use Hidden Power properly.

  • wow energy ball was an over kill 4x effective +1.5stab+ 2xcrit+and i think 1.5 or 2x for super effective plus maybe ur victreebell was based sp att cause it has energy ball and hidden power so that was really an over kill

  • what type is Manectric's Hidden Power?

  • Connor seems so horny...

  • that guy didnt have much selection in attacks or types he was doomed from the start

  • Fucking noob he cant play for shit

  • That was a cool victreebel!! But why you change rampardos? he can kill venasaur without problems, he wears a choice scarf no?

  • @angel16mz That's right, Rampardos has a Choice Scarf.

  • Venusaur & Swampert have more speed than Victreebel? Venusaur I understand but Swampert? Wow.

  • Victreebel knows stockpile but not Swallow or Spit up?

  • @ALoserIsFred Stockpile is there to increase Victreebel's Defense and Special Defense.

  • @Overhazard What does the ability "Mold Breaker" do?

  • @danialafiq23 Mold Breaker ignores the opponent's Ability when Rampardos (or any other Pokémon with Mold Breaker) attacks. For instance, a Pokémon with Levitate will take damage from Earthquake if this Rampardos attacks it.

  • Did he say magnectic when Manectric was sent in

  • @TVHarman The announcer? No, he said Manectric.

  • @Overhazard Ok cuz it sounded like Magnectic LOL

  • hey im trying to make a walkthrough of pokemon lg is there a imulator or somthing i can use

  • @warddraw4 As far as official equipment goes, you can use a Game Boy Player. I don't know much about emulators as I don't use them.

  • @Overhazard um iknow you dont use them but i got a game boy imulater just now but now i dont know how to get the pokemonLG game

  • not even the way i see it he was a noob in pokemon literally wtf does swampert have surf for hes better off with attacks shouldave used a ice punch to save his @55

  • you know you could ve used zen headbutt on venasaur be zen headbutt is a psychic type move and venasaur is a poison type.psychic beats poison

  • ahaha your opponent should've switched his charizard :P

  • if venusaur hadn't asleeped manectric, it could had used frenzy plant again

  • How do you record without the camcorder shaking???

  • I don't use a camcorder. I record directly from the TV.

Also, people who record using a camcorder can mount it on a tripod so it doesn't shake. Nearly everybody who uses a video camera for any reason has a tripod for this reason.

  • How do you record from the TV?

  • I use a video capture device. These are machines designed to do such a thing.

  • Where do you get one?

  • I got mine from the Apple Store. It's not a good idea for you if you don't have a computer from Apple. Instead, try searching wherever printers, hard drives, and drawing tablets are sold in your area.

  • a stockpile without swallow or spit up its just for the stat change u use it just like cosmic power

  • Buddy, you've always got great matches.

  • choice scarf rampardos .d?

  • Yeah, that's a Choice Scarf Rampardos.

  • wat nature is your rampardos

  • Surf lol

  • Hopefully very soon ill be getting Wi/fi and my partys gun

  • nice win

  • What type is your Manetric's Hidden Power?

  • it's Grass.

  • Ok. Would Ice be better or worse for it?

  • Grass and Ice were my top choices, but I couldn't breed an Electrike with Hidden Power Ice.

  • Frenzy plant coool!!

  • victreebel yay!

  • venasaur is gothic...

  • when i wanted to battle just a little while ago so did i meet the guy you battle now

  • is it just or the fully evolved water starter feraligatr is not on the team

  • Nope, it's not just you. Feraligatr is the only fully-evolved Water-type starter not on that team.

  • oke then :D

  • sorry for my bad english :$

  • No, it's fine. I can understand what you're saying perfectly okay.

  • no i had questions on other vids about gastrodon and rank 8 of gateway colloseum and everything :P

it were really much questions :P

  • Oh, I thought you meant over here. You're welcome, then.

  • oww thats great :D

thank you . for everything you answered all my questions :P

  • I did? That was only one question.

  • can you play Wifi on pbr with rental passes aswel?

because i have the internet but not a DS :P

  • Yes, you can.

  • maybe swampert didn't have any ice attacks.

  • Not that I've done it myself, but do hacked pokemon show properly on Revolution or turn into Bad Eggs?

  • Some of them show up properly, but you can't do anything with them. The ones that appear as Bad Eggs in the DS games will show up as Bad Eggs here too.

  • what do you mean you cant do anything with them

  • how can u make pokemons EV change? plese answer!

  • There are Berries that reduce EVs--the Tamato Berry and the five that come after it on the list. Use them to bring the EVs down to whatever amount you want.

  • hey overhazard!!!how did that venasaur know frenzy plant????that's an awesome move

  • Through a move tutor. I forget where, however.

  • leaf green/ fire red

  • I meant in Diamond/Pearl, as there's a Move Tutor for that too.

But for Venusaur, it's probably FireRed/LeafGreen.

  • D/P move tutor lives north of resort area, the place that resembles a desert.

  • 80(BP) x4(weaknesses) x2(Critical Hit) x1.25(half stab)

  • Why just half STAB? I never heard of such a thing.

  • the stab bonus is x1.5 for pokemon that are single types. Pokemon that are dual types get x1.25, but for both types. Victreebel gets the x1.25 bonus since its both grass and poison.

If they changed it in D/P, let me know, but it doesn't seem like they did.

  • From what I can recall, STAB is always 1.5. It was tweaked a bit between the first and second generations, but from Johto and onward, STAB is always x1.5 for all 17 types regardless of if the Pokémon has a second type or not.

I checked on Bulbapedia, and it also says STAB is always x1.5.

  • oh well that's good.

  • @LordRazzia Where did you read such a thing? It was never like that, it isn't like that, and it won't be like that in the future, I suppose

  • @Fureiba Yeah, it never was like that, but for some odd reason, I thought it was in first generation when I was a kid.

  • @LordRazzia Ah, that can happen easily, as a beginner, I believed many things, especially regarding type matchups, which were false.

  • how do u choose ur team of pokemon >?

like wat do u do to decide who ur going to use ?

  • I put the cursor over that Pokémon and press A. It's as simple as that.

  • no,i mean,am sure u have alot of pokemon, how do u decide wich 6 should be on ur team ?

  • I plan out a team of six Pokémon, raise them, and put them onto the battle pass when I'm finished. I actually DON'T have a huge stock I choose from.

  • oh okay,kool

  • Is pbr ajust a game of battling or is it like diamond/pearl when you battle AND adventure?

  • No, it's just battling.

  • Crap

  • Lol, the Energy Ball on Swampert was...

    A Critical Hit- x1.5

    Double Super Effective- x4

    STABed- x1.25

  • You made a mistake there--STAB is x1.5.

  • Yeh, I thought so. And Victreebel was holding a...

  • Victreebel holds a Yache Berry.

  • Ah....

  • wow, victreebells energy ball on swampert was a wopping 720 BP!

  • @piemanfun 80*1.5*2*4 is 960...

  • Still it's around 16x damage if my multiplication skills are as useless as i think they are

  • Doesn't a critical hit double the damage?

So instead of x1.5, it would be x2

  • Oh yeah, that's another mistake I didn't spot.

  • it would 3 times the damage if it has the stab and crit?

cuz i make these kinda equations all the time, stab against a normal to normal,1.5

    crit=1.5*2=3

    super effective+crit=1.5*2*2=6x

    super effectivex2+crit=1.5*2*2*2=12x

this can make a crit ice shard from a lapras to a flygon/garchomp turn from a stab 60 power to 480 power,or aura sphere to aggron from its stab 135 to 540,or if crit, even 1080 power,O_o

stab is always 1.5 to some people still on this comment discusion and to others.

  • Woah.

  • Sort it out dude.

  • your rampardos is quick

  • i men it cant learn it

  • Yes, it can. Look it up.

  • Yes, it can. Look it up.

  • You can teach Manectric Flamethrower from the TM and Overheat from the TM. Try it out!

  • That was a pretty good battle. Nice choice in moves.

  • Why Stockpile on Victreebel? Haven't seen that before...

  • Stockpile increases Victreebel's Defense and Special Defense. It's pretty useful in that it raises Victreebel's worst stats.

  • Ah, OK. I guess the stat raising is new to this generation, then. Competitive battling sure has changed.

  • Stat raising has been around since Red and Blue. I certainly remember the Mewtwos that abused Amnesia. (I had one myself.)

  • Oh no, I meant the stat raising with stockpile, XD.

But yeah, the special stat was flawed.

  • Oh, that's what you mean. Yeah, Stockpile's benefits were added this generation. That's why you now see Pokémon with Stockpile but no Swallow or Spit Up.

  • How much speed does your Rampardos have and does it have perfect IVs?

  • Yes, it has an IV of 31. Rampardos's Speed was put together precisely to outrun Pokémon with a Speed of 110 and a +Speed Nature.

  • he had all starters on his team (If you count the pikachu starter from yellow, evolved.)

  • wow, good job ^.^

  • wow pretty balanced, apart from a half of his team being weak to grass and electric moves

  • =/ ok

  • Venusaur looks better in this game than in GameCube games. It looked angry and sleepy!

  • yea it dose in the nitendo 64 it looks like hes angry sleepy

  • I LOOVE THE FULLY EVOLVED STARTERS!

  • Lol, what a noob. He kept Charizard in on a Rock poke, and have ice beam on Swampert.

  • Not just any rock type, even; he kept it in against Rampardos, who has a crazy attack stat at its disposal.

  • Yeah, I know. What could that Charizard possibly be running that it would be safe against stone edge, or ANY rock move!? I bet you a rock tomb would hurt it badly, if not, kill it. And stealth rock messes it up so bad if it isn't used as a lead.

  • And rampardos is greatly ourspeeded by char. He peobably though he could score a OHKO thanx to its low defenses.

  • I've always wondered. If Synthesis depends so much on the weather, you might not get to use it as often as you want. Why not replace it with Swallow? You lose the Stockpile, but retain the stats that Stockpile provides. Could that be better?

  • Victreebel was intended for long-term use. If I use Swallow, then Victreebel would become fragile again. With the stats it has, it's somethign I can't afford to keep up for very long.

Besides, Synthesis healing 1/4 of HP will work just fine under enough Stockpiles.

  • Good job. I wish that you'd use your Victreebell more often - don't often get to see it out there, and when it is out, there isn't much that it does, e.g. one Energy Ball. But, I suppose it's all based on what Pokemon the other guy has...

  • I don't get to use Victreebel often because it has five weaknesses and is geared entirely toward opponents that use Sp. Attack. Unfortunately, while I've designed to counter many of its weaknesses, my opponents are overwhelmingly physical in their offensive power.

  • I saw nothing wrong with the video.

    Great match, BTW.

  • Whoa! Manectric can learn Flamethrower?

  • When it comes out you could do Smash Bros onlines matches :D

  • If I get a signal amplifier by then. I get very long lags connecting the Wii straight to my recorder. PBR is the only game I can actually play like this.

  • MOAR.

I've watched all of your Battle Revolution videos, and I dunno why, but I could watch these until my eyes bleed. Your battles are really entertaining. MORE.

  • the matched seemed like it was easy for you.

  • Hmm... not every day that you see someone who still uses Razor Leaf.

  • This time, your Victreebel was in the spotlight! Good work!

  • Very easy win. :)

  • No offense, but you could tell that this trainer's a no0b. Frenzy Plant on a Venasaur? No Ice Beam on Swampert? No physical Sweeper? It almost seems evident.

    Great match!

  • I'll guess it was designed for something other than the usual strategies.

  • It was more of a "I'm going to lose anyways so whatever" move, using surf.

  • Using Surf instead of Ice Beam... Not a wise choice.

Unless it didn't even know Ice Beam to begin with. Did you get his pass?

  • maybe he thought that he was going to switch back with rampardos

  • Why would he do that? Rampardos (obviously) can't switch in on Swampert safely, & grass > water/ground. Switching out wouldn't have made much sense.

  • I got the Pass. I haven't looked at it though. I was certainly expecting an Ice Beam, but Victreebel is holding a Yache Berry, so I wasn't worried.

  • wats ur rampardoes's nature?

  • lol a rampardos. the rock type is my favourite type and the fossils are my favourite pokemon. rock types to the end.

  • I mainly go for the Steel type.

  • well the rock, ground and steel types are pretty much the same as their types match frequently and none are affected by sandstorm.

  • great battle and great win, ur rampardos jus flat out owned charizard, lol he didnt c that cummin his way
