@Indy7272 Haha, that's a one good explanation! As for offroading you're absolutely right, V-Strom has too soft suspension and should have wider handlebars - this would help not only off the road but everywhere else as well, I believe. I see you've been doing some impressive foot pegs scratching, not bad I must say :)
@MfalmeVTold You are right, it helps a lot, I have wider handlebars on my V-Strom :) Another terrible thing on V-Strom for offroad is very low ground clearance. Thx, I used to scratch even better but infront of camera and knowing I´m going to sell the bike in a month I have some kind of psychic block :D
@Indy7272 I was unable to send you a private message, so let me ask you about the handlebars here. I'm wondering if I'd have to change the brake lines for the longer ones if I buy 4-5 cm wider handlebars. R1200GS' handlebars are around 820mm wide and they suit me perfectly. Also, I've got heated grips and don't really know how to take all of this stuff off. I don't want to be forced to buy new ones along with the new handlebars. Hope you made the modification yourself and know how to do it :)
@MfalmeVTold I´m going to dissapoint you - I bought the bike with the wider bars on it. Do you have universal heated grips or some specially for V-Strom? I think there will not be a problem, but it will be a tough job to get all the stuff off and then put it back again...
