  • Thank you Clare for posting the video. I'm learning Leo Brouwer's Etude VI too and it helps to play it along with you as I'm learning it.

    gorden gibson

  • I love this esecution. I think is not too slowly. I know is writed to be played in 1 minute but I'm sure it was a joke of Leo Brower becouse at this speed is really most beautiful. I love the Clare's mood. I would like to play my trumpet with her one day.

  • very beautiful

  • This honestly beats the pants off of all of those "speedy ones"

You play it in terms of musicality, not showmanship. Also, you nail some of the little nuances within. Great Job!

  • you state she has been playing for only 4 months...sound too good to be true...

    if true. thumbs up

  • @mebunzing Yes, she had played the Classical Guitar for only four months at the time of this video. Clare practices very well and very different than most students. I teach my students to practice inn a very analytic way. Mistakes are often a result of bad "programming" of the mind. Careful practices helps to later have the freedom to be more musical or creative while playing the piece.

In the past we practiced by repeating unnecessary times hoping for improvement :)

    Saludos

  • yes, I like it.

I think the autor was joking writing to play this music so fast becouse in this velocity you can feel the magic armony. Is like a mantra. It open your energy. Is very magic and I like your smile at the end of the song

  • A little bit slowly

  • i've been playing for four months too and already have leyenda down perfectly. I'm playing it for college auditions.

  • Clare, that was wonderful!

  • nice job clare

  • Beautiful.

  • You looked like you really enjoyed that :-) Is this study aimed more at the intermediate student?

  • Hello Clare

  • Just know this is where Randy Rhoads outlined Diary of a Madman from.

  • true, true

  • Not the entire song, just the intro.

  • This is great work! You should consider reviewving your position. Look at your video and notice how your shoulders are. Since you've not been playing for a long time it's a good time to correct it.

    Keep up!

  • yes, good point. I have talked to Clare about it a while ago. She will work on it I am sure . Thanks! :)
