  • im sorry but whenever i see the uploader's name all i can read is rePOOPerafans X(

  • I love the beginning of this, before it speeds up. Nathan is so vulnerable and sad, even more so than in the movie. While I don't prefer it necessarily, I think it's an interesting take on this song, and I would have loved to hear Anthony Head's rendition.

  • He sings dinasour balls.

  • very different. I must see more.

  • anybody know if the stageplay will return anytime soon!?? ive been in love with the movie since it came out and i can only watch shadowcasts, which arent bad but i really wanna see the original!

  • I like the lyrics of this version so much more than the movie version. I really wish there were a version of this with better audio quality.

  • This sucks in comparison to the movie, and by that I mean in terms of acting AND singing.

  • @ImmaBeBeast: Hell yeah!

  • Ok in this scean I liked it better in the movie cuz it was better put together but this was good to

  • Me and my friend Robert want to do this play for our school. We know it would make people cringe and also make the administrators pissed off to no end. LOL Oh it would be glorious!

  • As far as rights to the play go, you cannot obtain rights to do the actual play. What you can do however, is a shadowcast.

  • @NinjaPuma9408 i was going to do that too

  • @NinjaPuma9408 me 2 me 2

  • @NinjaPuma9408 God I wish.

  • @NinjaPuma9408 I constantly fantasize about my school doing Repo!. T_T

  • In the video it said the stage play was directed by Darren Bousman. Was it? I don't think so, but maybe I'm wrong.

  • Yes it was. The same guy that directed the movie version and some of the Saw movies.

  • @JustinTotino Weird. Because when Darren was being interviewed about Repo he didn't say anything about directing the stage play. Hmm. . .

  • @TheMissMelancholia

He says it on the DVD. So does Terrence (GraveRobber & co-creator)

  • I thought it was Darren Smith?

  • Darren Lynn Bousman. He directed both the stage and film versions.

  • Well, that was....different...

I love stage-plays in general more than films.

But the REPO movie was amazing, probably set my expectations of the stage play to high.

I just don't think the actors were right for there roles in this...the lack of setting didn't help, sometimes minimalistic works, but in this case I think it did not.

But I'm just glad the whole thing came about, don't think I could live without the movie now I've seen it lol.

  • i dont know what it is but, he can sing; its not that, he just doesnt PLAY repo(nathan) that good

  • This was amazing (But I still Perfer Anthony Head) so unique, and different from the newer version.

  • @p1rateferl1fe Are you deaf?

  • @manzanitacute I don't care about your opinions. You believe insulting someone over the internet means anything.

  • Does anyone know the lyrics? I've tried listening to it but the i think some of the words i pick up aren't the right ones lol In some places i can't hear the song over the music :) anyone know them? ^_^

  • I think is about Marni "Why she haunts me? " or something like that...But the lyrics, i just get some parts

  • Now, I seen the movie before this clip, but I will say I actually enjoyed this one. The camera quality was a bit bad on my computer but that doesn't really matter.

It gave a different feel from the movie of course, both vibes are good. I liked it =D

  • I LOVED this. the performers use the space on stage they have excellently. the staging and performance were magnificient. He really captures the character on Nathan, torn between a loving father and murdering bastard.

  • This is definitely a lot different than the movie version. In comparison to the movie, I'm going to be honest and say that in my opinion, it was dreadful. But if I had seen this before the movie, I probably would like it a lot more. It's unique and...interesting in it's own way.

  • This is NOT "dreadful". it's artistic, unique, and without this the movie never would have been.

the movie was a reimagining and polishing of what was already a brilliant idea. If you don't like stage performances, dont watch or comment.

  • I said in my opinion, kind sir. You think I'm not aware of that? xD;

[/knows Terrance and Darren Smith irl] Calm down. I said it was interesting in it's own way.

  • thats actualy realy good singing from curt

  • wow I like the moive one better to me that one sucked allot not saying that if it was the first thing I saw mabye I would like it more but to me that wasent too good

  • what didnt you like about it? the singing? the movement/dancing?the music?

  • that note, 'Let the moster RISE", just sounded...neh. he does a very interesting portrayal of nathan in contrast to the film, but i must say, that note could've been a td bit....powerful? brighter?

  • "Then tell me why she haunts me, why she taunts me, why God why?" I love how he sings that.

  • wow i like this

  • What are the lyrics to this version?

  • they were just changed when they made the movie

  • The lyrics are hard to make out in places, could anyone post them if they can tell them or know them?

  • Prefer the movie, but nice...

  • I cannot wait for ASH to sing this!!

    x.

  • ASH is the best Repo Man DX.

  • If i remeber correct this vid was from the old stageplay site!

most were scattered around and i just collected and put in one place....

  • omg, where did u get these amazing vids????
