I grew up with n64. Mainly Zelda Ocarina Of Time and this game. And I have to say. FUCK graphics. FUCK realisticness. All a good game needs is a good story and a sexy soundtrack like this game. If we replaced all the war games and all the new games with ones like this. I think there would be less conflicts.... Just my opinion...

I first got this game some time back in 2004 or so. I got most of the way through the Galleon stage, then I suddenly stopped playing. Picked up a controller earlier this year and decided to carry on. When I got to this level, I couldn't believe what I had missed all this time. I seriously shed a few tears.

How is it that Rare can always make such beautiful themes like this that still bring tears of joy to my eyes when i hear them, and somehow turn them into the most epic boss music I've ever heard? Sure, there are a lot of games that I love from that time, like Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Earthbound, etc., but none of them can even come close to matching the enormous sense of nostalgia I get whenever I hear the amazing music from Donkey Kong 64 or Banjo Kazooie.

Okay, basicly, the company Rareware, started off with Ninteno owning 50% of Rareware, Together they made awesome games and a few crossover games like Diddy Kong Racing wich featured many other Rareware characters, like Tiptup and Banjo, Conker and etc. who where to show up in future games. All the games Rare made with Nintendo where timeless and unforgetable, and they all pushed the consoles to their highest graphical potentiol* as well.

2And then they Released Conkers Bad Fur Day for N64, wich to me seems like Rarewares way of really getting out their sense of humor, the game featured curse words, alcohol references, pot heads while at the same time keeping everything cute and adorable as possible, the game played great and was funny as all hell, no game could top that, it was rated M and kids around the world loved it. 3only granting Nintendo about 3 games for the Gen, Star Fox Adventures, wich I personally liked but alot don't like it and 2 banjo games for GBA. Hmm... I must be looking at the wrong sales charts then, because it says here that Wii sold more. Actually, Xbox360 sold 55.22 million worldwide, while PS3 has sold 51.82 worldwide. Where is this 'failed' Wii? It's sitting at it's humble spot with 87.38 worldwide sales.

Lack of 3rd party support was a poor choice, however a majority of their games that wasn't shovelware sold extremely well. If you look at the top five games in sales this week (and many other weeks) you'll find that most are Wii titles (4 this week, losing the 1 spot to Catherine).
