This band is so criminally under-rated. Let me say this to that::

1) Pop music critics are talentless jerks. All of them.

2) The first time I heard "Hey Jealousy," I was knocked on my butt.

3) They got where they did on musicianship and their material. Compare that to the latest American Idol crap, or other manufactured trash like the Strokes.

4) To paraphrase something I once heard Junior Wells say during a club set, "If you don't love the Gin Blossoms, you have a hole in your soul."

@jmatzkin I totally agree. Most kids today don't even know what real music is let alone who Junior Wells is. I'm glad there is someone else out there who understands. I've seen Muddy, Buddy, Junior, BB, Miles, Trane, and almost every rock/ pop/blues/ whatever band but the Blossoms REALLY stand out.. Their haunting, soulful, melodic tunes are the best.
