  • Great! But something about your timing at the unison theme isn't quite right

  • @SteffenH89 I see...thank you.... I will put a thought on it^^

  • mantap! improv-nya keren!

  • @NamedLeon thanks....^^

  • think u can give me some pointers on how to play the piece?

  • @MrMrMrBuddy God...I wish I could, but I don't play piano, the one in this video is my 16 y.o cousin, and believe me....he is brilliant

  • WOW!!!!

  • @MrMrMrBuddy thanks

  • @didibitz hi, i have a question for you ; i play piano for a long time but i never really understand how jazz pianist like you doing for create a harmonic line who begin at 1;56 min. this line is verry logic and i would know now, how do you make this line who is beautiful, do you use more and more scales (aelion, lydian etc ?) please answer me, i would to practise and discover how do you make this thanks a lot :)

  • @PsychotikPandora thanks...first I think practice makes perfect...if you ask about how I built my improvisation, you should do it like a story...first you have to make a prologue, like I was doing in 1.56...try using simple note to make simple line, then continue to use more complicated scales...hope this can help....

  • @didibitz yes thank for this solution, i think it's really hard to find good notes to give emotions when tempo begin more speed, but thanks i will try.

  • @PsychotikPandora you are welcome, in improvisation I use not only modes (aeolian, lydian, etc) also harmonic minor, melodic minor, pentatonic, blues scale, diminished scale,etc...for example...in dominant seventh you can use mixo lydian-starting on root of chord, melodic minor-starting on fifth of chord,diminished-starting on third, fifth or seventh of chord,blues-starting on root of chord

  • @didibitz i see. And to have this simplicity with mode and scale, starting of fith etc.. i must to begin my improvisation with a very low tempo ?

  • @PsychotikPandora low tempo is important for perfect touch, beside to familiarize relation between chord and scale, after that you can more and more to fast tempo as fast as you can

  • @didibitz Much thanks to answer me :) and my last question i think, when you play improvisation, you prepare that before or you know exactly where you will take accord or rythm or you use sometimes the hasard ? Because when you improvise and i see you videos when you play with your band (beautiful) it's much important to keep sensibility and the unknown when you push the note or to already know where you push before to push on the piano ? i'm french sorry for my english
