my horse is carentino bred lol he got NONE of carentinos triats other than jumping..hes 16.3 with long ears and a long back.. the dam is escalanta so maybe its from her ;)
Hey everyeone that can se this comment check out my first ever contest and coment me on my contest video and comment me if you have any questions thanx check it out!!!!!!!!!!!! dont critsyz please its my first vid. thanx
These stallions have great movment everything about them is just awesome they all are so well behaved justn asking but how long did it take you to train these horses. Ireally want to train and do showjumping.
Well these are all german warmbloods so I would say they are Oldenburgs, and Hannoverians! The majority of these horses take 2-4 years to train until an extent, then ofcourse more time for Grand Prix horses. Their temperment is I would say in their blood! These horses are AMAZING but they don't come cheap unfortunatly, my horse is also from Germany and he cost around 35,000 euros.
ermmm... Holsteiner is the most influential german breed at the moment.. but you're right about the price...I have a Holsteiner Stallion (cor de la bryere x colombo) and he costed around 175000€... I know many people who payed more than 250,000 for their horses but I am riding at a professional level (CSI**** around 1,50/1,60)
my horse is German and i got really excited when i saw a horse with a name similar to his!! the Graf one! mines Gra(a)f Haribo and he jumps like these German horses too!
love the necks!!! the stallions are beautiful. i love their cheeky personality. i also HATE how ppl think that just cuz a horse is a stallion, it is uncontrolable and misbehaved. the truth: if you put some next to my friend's mare they all look like angels!!!
they are all sooo pretty!!!my horse is daughter of grannus and grandaughter of cor de la briér...people say her neck is like the one of a stallion but she's always in pink or purple so nobody actually thinks she is a boy...lol
luv the horses, i want one, and to answer kateag85's question they r looking at the jump cuz its usually interesting and they arch their neck cuz ur pulling back on them, and on the groung they r outside by lots of trees and horses r naturally spooky animals because they r prey animals so they arent going to relaxvery easily, and they r probably also trained to do that.
LOL!!! they are looking at the jump because that's the direction they are "going in." and you shouldn't be "pulling back on them" while jumping, that's their bascule helping them propell themselves over the jump *insert rolled eyes*
ok, I ride horses, and I do this myself. If you dont pull back on the horses then they will just gallop through everything and refuse cuz u hav no control on them, trust me it has happened to me, and how does their naeck help them ovr the jump, it doesnt. Its their hind legs, which when you hold them bac they get enough perpultion to spring ovr the jump. prove me wrong
yes, i also ride horses. of course most of the propulsion comes from their hind legs, but they use their topline over a jump just as much as their backend.
and perhaps your horse is unique, ottb? you shouldn't have to pull on a horses mouth coming towards jumps...your seat should be able to stable them enough for you. you're supposed to RELEASE over jumps.
i kno u release but u cant just run them through everything if you dont have a hold of them then they wont do anything, my horse is unique but not in that way. all the jumper horses i hav ridden i hav been told to hold them back, only the hunters u keep a long rein for. ur seat is used to push them forward, and yes also tho stable them
Wow. What georgeous horses! I'm gonna draw some from them.
