Still, as a person I still think he's a freak, and I respect who loves his style, i don't. Plus all his videos, freak shit, I just could watch Heart-Shaped Glasses, but this is me. Bass isn't " simpler" by no means. Maybe Manson music has simpler bass lines, but bands like The Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Mudvayne have a reversed scenario, with simple guitar playing and complicated intricate bass parts. You really can't just say that one instrument is less difficult than another, because no two are alike. Guitar and Bass are generally linked as stringed instruments, but still, that's as far as it goes

Yea I know what you're saying, most of Manson's songs follow the same progressions. The bass is pretty simple, most of the bass lines that go with Manson's songs are slow tempo bass lines that follow the root notes and throw out a few fills. So, yea, I totally agree on that. I was just saying that in all music, guitar and bass can interconnect in anyway, with either instrument taking the attention of the crowd, and or, a listener.

Are you fucking kidding me? This performance was brilliant and thoroughly entertaining, reminiscent of the old manson, unlike some of the shows he did sober. And hes not the only one fucked up on stage, which makes it not as bad, and gives this performance extra realism. When manson started, all his best antics were spontaneous and drug inspired. His best albums, were all made while he was doing a lot of drugs. So yeah, it sucks that its hurting him, but thats the cost of being an entertainer.

During "The High End of Low" stages, he said in a recent interview that he had gone completely insane, and lost himself, he thought he didn't have to try, and that because his name was so big, he could do whatever he wanted. His technique was off, but he's back on track.
