dont every gymnast know that once u land or stick a dismount u have to stretch UP and then salute the judge?! i mean if u dont then it counts as not FINISHING your routine! :) :( get the facts straight b 4 you do them!
Actually, a double back dismount is a C skill, which as of the 2009 rules is not allowed in level 8. This is because level 8's are only permitted to do B skills, aside from a clear hip handstand. Double back is for level 9.
I'm 15 at height 5'7 and a bit. When I was her age i was 5''3. I have always hated being tall and it became a huge disadvantage for me in gymnastics. I'm glad you didnt let that stop you abbey! You did awesome!

Well you are a bit slow on your high bar it looks like IT IS SOOOOOOOOOOOO HARD FOR YOU TO DO THE SKILLS on your cast handstand you are l;ike *ehm should i go for it ehh no wait ya no i dont got to go for it well yea* and fre hip gosh you make it look hard for people to do a free hip *not being mean but that truth* also by level 7 you NEED to have a GOOD GIANT and for our gym u need a doubleback as your dismount.... goodluck
@smashmoto1844 don;t worry about it. people at my gym guess the wrong age all the time too. only its the other way for me. People see the pink leotard and think I'm fifteen - untill they see the wedding ring ;P
agreed... but im really tall for my age too. at least it comes to an ADVANTAGE especially in your dance parts of floor routines and ... :) but then again sometimes harder.. IT WAS AWESOME
I'm don't feel very happy when people say "she's frickin' tall" and "more like 14" about me, and (not trying to speak for anyone here) I'm guessing Abbey doesn't either.
Why don't you tone it down a notch? It's fine to mention "wow your good for being so tall" but "I'm sorry but it's hard for me to believe she's 11" and the like is just silly. Seriously? Grow up. Literally.
