Between 1982 and 1987, McCain had received $112,000 in political contributions from Keating and his associates.[28] In addition, McCain's wife Cindy McCain & her father Jim Hensley had invested $359,100 in a Keating shopping center in April 1986, a year before McCain met with regulators. McCain, his family, and their baby-sitter had made nine trips at Keating's expense, sometimes aboard Keating's jet. Three of the trips were made during vacations to Keating's opulent Bahamas retreat at Cat Cay.
McCain and Keating had become personal friends following their initial contacts in 1981,[11] and McCain was the closest socially to Keating of the five senators.[27] Like DeConcini, McCain considered Keating a constituent as he lived in Arizona.[25]
Not only the Keating 5. What about the scandal involving Cindy "Where are my Percs" McCain. She involves innocent employees of her non-profit group, AVMT (American Voluntary Medical Team)by using their names on ILLEGAL perscriptions for HER drugs. But, then again, she was already an adulteress! Classy lady, Huh?
lol seriously...i think the obama campaign needs to unleash this info to the public and let the journalists have a field day with this investigation and finding more sources
That really was awesome. Then they showed McCain getting interviewed by Katie Couric. Letterman was genuinely pissed that he canceled and went to her.
And yet, this "American Hero" still lacks the honesty and ball balls to man up about his role in the Keating Scandal. What a strong and honest leader he would make. Yeah..Sure.
Folks, hasn't this country been abused enough in the last 7 1/2 years? Don't we deserve a REAL man as president, not just some cartoonish buffoon strutting and bleating on the world stage as we decay? Prove to the world that we ARE the best and the brightest and ignore McCain Nov. 4th.
keating 5 let's take it there

Man, McCan't wants to delay the debates until the "free market" bailout is passed out. He's losing out and Obama is soaring in the polls.

Is everyone on McCain staff like NEW . . . and have no historical knowledge? What the hell . . .
It honestly feels like McCain is BEATING himself in this campaign. All Obama has to do is sit back and watch these fools kill themselves.
