Oh I know they havent changed much. what I'm saying is you look at all the WW2 ones. the ones which we all think of. but like Ive said theres the darker stripe which doesnt count as a stripe if ya get ma drift lol. all the rank insignia piks of a group capt are 4 stripes. this one 'appears' to have 5. I know the ranks havent changed. lol its hard to explain. my A/Sgt made me put sqn ldr as a flt lt in a test once because of it :)
what rank is the officer at 5:20? I'm an air cadet myself but since the formation of the RAF they've changed the ranks very slightly. they've added a 'darker' stripe which goes in between the main rank stripes and it becomes confusing from time to time. I he a Wing Commander or Group Captain? thanks, sorry for being noobish lol
since then i have visited Halton and St Athan, completed the Regiment battle camp, brize norton beats them all!!! however nt many people complete the battle camp making that a great camp, i will be leavin the ATC after 5 years, my last night will be the xmas party of my area.
in those 5 yrs i ave been in 2 sqns and i ave neva had a better tym. i shold b joinin d raf soon, keep d ATC proud people nd don't let d CCF or ACF giv u crap
Brize Norton looks quality!!! and they have my favourite type of plane there: big ass ones :) lol.
I'm going there on summer camp in July, going to be so good, can't wait :)

ah ok then. search for group capt on google images and its one of the 1st few results. notice the grey stripes in between the rank stripes
