woww... seriously, calm down, it's just music, there is nothing wrong with singers trying to be diverse... that's like saying just because I am sephardi I can't listen to, sing or enjoy music from different types of people like chassidim and ashkenazim.Guys, we are all part of klal yisrael, stop trying to make a crazy separation between us. It's not like meydad only does songs in an ashkenazi accent...he does other songs in his authentic accent too...

Don't take it personally, we are not trying to "Ashkenaz" you, and Tasa isn't groveling to the Litvish "elite" by singing in a different dialect. They all do it: Fried, Shweky, MBD sing in Sefardic pronunication sometimes. Chasidish singers in Litvish etc. It's called fun and open mindedness, it doesn't lower your dignity.

Meydad is the most talented young jewish singer of our times. He has the perfect package, Bli Ayin Harah. We will be seeing great things from him in the years to come. G-d bless him.

@eseehc19, it's not fake. Many singers do it - they sing in the dialect of the original singer. Litvish/Chassidish/Sefardic etc.
