No offense but when you began ,you were a couch potateo! I mean you were ridiculously out of shape! From your body apperance, you have no background to be ripped/in shape. Or understanding of nutrition. For people who lead a high exercise/ healthy LIFESTYLE, they can easily be shredded! So incorporate it into a lifestyle slowly! So some of you statements are nonsense! I mean you looked like you laid on the couch for 20 years and you expect to be ripped in short period of time lol
That actually makes no sense. When you lift in higher rep range you are encroaching on breaking too much muscle down. Think of it this way: A sprinter is muscular and a marathoner is skinny. The higher reps will make you smaller. Guys who do higher reps and get bigger could be juicing. A sprinter runs short distance (low rep) a long distance runner (high rep). If a distance runner juiced he would have a hard time running distance.
I know that people do higher reps 8-12 reps for hypertrophy training to get big bulky muscle of a body builder. And its said that huge bodybuilders muscles aren't as strong as a powerlifters muscles. Isn't the Max OT in a sense a power lifters routine in the sense of reps (4-6)? How's it that you get a body builders body by following this routine? Shouldn't the muscle not grow in size very quickly and simply just get very strong?
@FABIORBPINTO bodybuilders use 2-3mins rest in the max ot style training. Powerlifters can rest up to 5mins or longer to avoid hypertrophy. If you are wondering how you get cuts on a body builders routine? It is simple cardio and diet. The problem to the equation is simple, but plugging it in and making it work takes some guts!
Just watched the documentary. Congrats on your dedication and the film! This is definitely something more people, not just body builders, should see. Get this on Netflix man!
I'm surprised this movie hasn't had more press. This movie came out nearly a year ago and I'm only just hearing about it. Where can I watch it in full?
Of course you went to a restaurant and had what you wanted to eat. And why shouldn't you? Forget there are people starving all over the world that would kill for a steamed chicken breast and broccoli. But that's not good enough some lazy schlub. You want the food that's bad for you and you want a lot of it. Now go buy a house you can't afford because you think you deserve it.
Great to have a documentary showing what it takes for a man to change his body! We're bombarded with Jenny Craig (who was born in Louisiana!) Nutra system sucess stories but they don't show all that is required in detail to make the changes happen and to help you visualize what results you can achieve if you stick to the program and be consistent about your weight training, doing your cardio and sticking to the food plan!
the only thing is this isnt normal on this video. this isnt for everyday people that are dieting and working out. this is a man training specifically to be a covermodel. he isnt a go to work come home and be with his kids and wife everyday and make time fore eating and working out. his whole like was consumed by this lifestyle which isnt what is needed for the typical person to get in shape and reach their goals. this was an obsession that got him where he wanted and then nowhere else
Hi I'm the guy in the documentary. This doc shows a guy who has a normal life. We are told we can look like a fitness model. I wanted to show what it takes to fit that goal in all its reality and fit it into a normal life. Yes I did reach the goal but I was the hardest thing I've ever done and won't do it again. The video shows that it isn't practical to look like that and have a normal life.
This was a great documentary. Stuart must have a very slow base metabolism, but he shows than anyone can look one hell of a lot better if they do the work.
There are no Z-rays. You watch the doc, and you'll know what I mean.
Excellent video - so true!
What do you guys think of my body tranformation?
Thumbs up if you like it

@ThatGuyMovie Once you got to that level it wouldnt be nearly as hard to maintain that body as it was when you began. Why go back to being 25% fat?
NikeGolf118 1 year ago
@ThatGuyMovie What about organics. Its almost imposible to get fat eating organic.
