i sing to this but in a slightly higher tone to thom.. as i do with all there tracks, don't think u have 2 sound exactly like him, i tried and failed...but worked in out in the end especially with tracks like glasshouse and creep, i sing that high pitched all the way through. i love it :)

Since when has the term 'self indulgent' implied shitty quality? If an artist wrote the song, by themselves, logically the best way to hear the song played, would be completely from their self.

And that is almost an oxymoron to say self indulgent - fake. You are asking them to play the music without themselves in mind, which would be fake, since the audience did not write the song and was not in his head at all when he wrote it.
